While I love Abzan Liege (I ran it for quite some time) since it's mid-range, heavy on creatures, and is very flexible, the deck really feels like a stepping stone until you get your goyfs and LotVs. For a $1000 deck, I would've loved if it put up more results. Renegade Rallier does feel like a good card but might not be right in this deck. I haven't tested it though.
I very much like this deck against a midrange metagame. It gives Jund and Abzan fits at my LGS, and is slightly favored against Grixis Control. I don't really feel like the this deck is trying to do similar things to that deck.
As far as Renegade Rallier, it's a pretty decent utility spell. I've been trying one out for the last two weeks (I just put this back together over the last couple weeks). I've gotten a Gavony Township back that was blown up, a Voice of Resurgence against Grixis and a Ghost Quarter against Tron.
I've been trying out rallier as a value play, and it's been pretty good... our 3 drop spot is super crowded.
What I'd really like to do is mash up this deck and bant eldrazi, so that I can keep my beloved souls/township and gain eldrazi displacer to re-use all our etb effects. Anybody given it a shot? The mana seems pretty rough.
Knight of the Reliquary is slow, imo. I'd like to have access to a land toolbox, but having to untap first makes it a risky play.
I've been looking for sideboard tech to punish deaths shadow decks for dipping to precariously low life totals. I was thinking of a stomping ground plus some Lava axe's. Now I'm thinking either Bump in the night or Suffer the Past. Bump is far more efficient, but I like having instant speed and being able to hit for more than 3.
Any thoughts? Is burning 'em out even the right approach?
It seems to me that this deck is mostly dead, and will never come back into Tier 1 or 2. Traditional Abzan / Jund are just better overall against a wider variety of decks, and barring a heavy Jund/Abazan with control meta, I just don't see this deck making a come back.
I've decided to sell all my Siege Rhino, Wilt Leaf, Souls, Voice of Resurgence ect. and trade into Abzan Company.
Is this a good move or should I trade it into regular Abzan instead?

Shouldn't you ask in those forums? How are we supposed to gauge that for you?

I don't see how selling a bunch of cheap cards like Rhino, Souls and Liege is ever a good move.
Not sure if this is helpful but thought i would crosspost from abzan toolbox with my deck as i said before there is ton of overlap so maybe this post helps kickstart discussion.
Latest decklist and results. I cut one township for a shambling vents. I have found the extra fixing to be very relevant so will keep that change for now. Have been loving the two oozes so that will stay. For the four drop slot I have been using thrunn lately as a body to evo into when you know your opponent has spot removal and you need to close out the game. the regeneration has been very good as a resilient threat. Also good against UW control as a bullet. For the 5 drop slot blood baron hasn't been that relevant. I am sure against grixis shadow its nuts but for now I have gone back to thragtusk as another resilient threat. Haven't been missing the combo but will need to keep track of that too.
Went 4-1 in a league today so fairly happy where it is at. I beat Ponza (2-1), storm (2-1), GB tron (2-1), merfolk (2-1) and lost to living end.Hope everyone else's testing is going well
Went 4-2 at the PPTQ finishing 11th out of 42 players. Similar list to the one above except i swapped out one kitchen finks for a sin collector. Games were s follows;
Robots - loss (1-2) - Really close games. In game 3 lost to a blink moth nexus that was pumped twice due to double master of etherium. Was going wide but couldn't assemble an alpha attack to take him out. I think with one more removal spell i would have got there but only saw one the entire game. Was tough to start off with a loss to a good matchup
Burn - Win (2-0) - These were fairly straight forward games. Game 1 went wide then game 2 managed to fade a couple of draws. I also played around deflecting palm which was huge.
Merfolk - Win (2-0) - Game 1 the cards fell out nicely such that orzhov pontiff wrathed his board. Game 2 was an awkward triple vial draw for my opponent.
GR Tron - Loss (0-2) - Brutal matchup cos of the sweepers. GB tron i dont mind as much. Game 1 as expected. Game 2 was brutal and spicy. I managed to get thragtusk out but he had o-stone after one attack. Before attacks I eldritch evolution a voice into a thrun and regenereated after he popped the o-stone. I was thinking i should be fine unless he has Ugin. Nek minnit
BW Death and Taxes - Win (2-0) - Managed to get some sweet plays game one with sin collector into sigarda then beat down and evolved sigarda into rhino to win. Game 2 was on the back foot with two Thought Knot Seer beating down til i drew the nut draw "maelstrom pulse"!. Quickly won after i drew the extra cards
Grixis Shadow - Win (2-0) - First game my opponent got punished after a risky keep. Game 2 I landed an early RIP which completely shut off his engine. After that i eventually managed to rhino him out.
So after 6 rounds 111th and good enough for 8 boosters of store credit. The round one loss was costly but I couldn't have done much better. Deck feels great and will keep running this iteration until the meta shifts again. One thing I am not sure on is shambling vents or stirring wildwood or hissing quagmire. I know i want one of them as it has been very relevant to have the colored mana source.

I find that the deck is struggling against humans. Does anyone know sideboard options or maindeck tunings to play against that behemoth of a deck?
