Scary effects? None. I'm happy with Abzan Charm and might even try Bob out again.
LOL. Autocorrect on my phone at work. I meant how many Scry effects are you thinking about playing, but I guess you answered that. If you try to play several with fetch lands, it becomes useless to scry stuff to the bottom when you end up shuffling them back even though you get to scry before drawing. You generally hope to see decent cards on the scry. It's not quite the same, but when I played Blue Moon having to fetch after scrying always felt bad, especially after scrying several dead cards to the bottom.
But sequencing is a thing? I cant see blue decks loaded with fetches choosing not to run Serum visions because of such an argument.
I don't get it. I just said fetch lands and scrying aren't great together. There is rarely any sequencing involved because you get what you get when you get it. I didn't say that you should never ever put them together. You know what... forget I said anything.
Well, you did imply that running Read the Bones was a bad idea because fetchlands and scrying don't go together very well, then called me dumb for reading it as 'scrying is bad in decks with fetchlands'.
If that's not the point you were trying to get across then perhaps you should have phrased it differently or elaborated on your reasoning behind it some more. I don't really get what you're trying to say either at this point

Even though you are scrying before drawing with Read the Bones, if you end up shuffling useless cards were scried to the bottom prior to Read the Bones, all you've done is possibly give yourself more garbage to go through after shuffling stuff that was scried to the bottom. Literally the same principle as for why Blue Moon players rarely pop fetch lands in the mid- to late-game unless they need something, especially if they have gone through a couple Serum Visions. Sometimes it can't be helped, but it doesn't make it any better.
Has anyone tried Elspeth, Sun's Champion or Knight Errant as a one-of in the board? I currently have an open slot after acquiring a second Stony Silence and have been thinking that Sun's Champion has a lot of play in the current meta. And after all, running 7-8 dorks makes it being a six drop not completely unplayable.

The big difference is that Elspeth, Knight-Errant can make tokens where Ajani Steadfast can't. So on an empty board, Elspeth is more likely to do something for you, but even a Birds of Paradise on board will make Ajani Steadfast useful.
Good day guys, just recently bought pieces for this deck since I had all the lands needed. May I ask if do you really need a set of Kitchen Finks or 3x is enough? I was able to buy 3x and would like conserve a little money, so thinking of not buying the 4th one if it is not that crucial.

I'm going to try Choke this week since I had the most issues against Blue based decks last week. I'm really considering a second Walker, though.
Oath of Nissa is a excellent card for give scy effect and give a option to put a creature or planeswalker in your hand , we have now space to choose planeswalker because with the hability of use any color to cast planeswalker and i think this can be the best upgrade for this deck , the rest of the cards is well know for people here.
My Sideboard is specific for my local store , feel free to adapt it to your choices.
Going back to the topic of Planeswalkers a bit, has anybody tried using Gideon Jura? He seems great for breaking up board stalls. A lot of my current sideboard tech is all about creating stalls on the opponent's side, I'm just figuring out how to break through the stalls I create.

I would play Sorin, Solemn Visitor or Sorin, Lord of Innistrad before Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Elspeth, Knight-Errant has some utility, but I like Ajani Steadfast more.
I had thought about the Sorins, but never considered that Ajani. I may think about that. A first striking, vigilant, lifelink Ajani seems good.

I see, Thank you.

Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Elspeth, Knight-Errant i think the both are the best options , but now we have time to think who planeswalker can better fit with this deck

Mana dorks aren't so bad of a top deck in a deck that runs having township, and they are critical to have in your opener.
