Have you ever thought to play phyrexian arena? I have kind of Abzan Liege deck and I play 4x arena, so far it has been very solid. Mostly because of manadorks you can play PA in turn two.

I'm a bit sceptical of double black mana, but it sure could be very powerful if left unanswered.
We have mostly 2-3 birds and 3+ black mana lands, by adding Urborg I can't see problem with it

You're jacking up your mana base to play a card that might be advantageous in some matchups. I understand that it could be awesome, but Abzan Liege is basically a G/W aggro deck splashing black. On turn 2, I want to rip something from their hand and play a 2-CMC dude. With that in mind, I'm more likely to add Graveborn Muse before I go down the Phyrexian Arena road. The aggro tilt is also why I'm opposed to adding more than 2 Painful Truths to the deck. Between the minimal lands the deck plays, fetch lands on top of that, and the small amount of non-creature action that we have, I don't understand the need to get deep into your deck. At some point in my matches, the dam will break and the opponent can't stop you. I'm not trying to play a midrange style.
Your sideboard needs to earn you an advantage in our problematic matches, of which a control deck is not one. We can get rolled by the linear decks like Elves, Tron, Affinity, Grishoalbrand, and Infect. For example
Awesome deck, went 3-1 today. Beat Jund, Twin and 8Rack, but lost 0-2 to a tweaked Modern Event deck. That thing is no joke!
Qasali Pridemage main was great, Abzan Charm too. I really don't see any reason to run Painful Truths when we can opt for the same effect at instant speed and more.
I'd cut Athreos right before the event and can't say I ever missed him.
Engineered Explosives is such a versatile card, I can't really think of a matchup where it's completely useless (naturally I don't always board it in but still).
You can cast it for 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 and it's relevant at any point in the game - never the worst possible topdeck.
Chalice on the other hand is only relevant in the early game and nearly impossible to cast for more than 2 at that point. It also hoses your own spells.
EE takes care of tokens, Merfolk, Elves, Burn, Jund, Junk, Infect.. The list goes on. Chalice can be very powerful in certain matchups provided you have it in your opening hand but overall is far too narrow for me to consider boarding in in most matchups. It's just not consistent enough and I have to play around it myself as well. I might take it out altogether.
Can't think of any noncreature solutions off the top of my head, but Burrenton Forge-Tender stops Anger, and Dauntless Escort stops Damnation. Pretty badass with a Liege out as well.
Dromoka's command deserves its slot main deck, even though I wish not to show it to Grixis and Jund opponent game 1 so they don't play around it before casting their anger games 2-3.
I wasn't sure about Tegg, thanks for the info, I will give that ol' good Athreos, God of Passage a couple of tries before testing Dauntless Escort
Athreos doesn't work against Anger as the creatures are exiled rather than dying, so he never triggers.
Dromoka's Command is indeed an amazing card. Since taking out Maelstrom pulse for it (almost 6 months ago now) I haven't ever wanted to change it back.
Split first place at an SCG IQ. I have no use for the invite so I just took the prizes and scooped the guy in.
Will post my list later...bit tired now.
I personally think the deck is in a really good place tonight, not a deck I usually play (I'm partial to Jund or Abzan midrange). Performed very well all night.

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.
With 7 dorks I did not have an opening hand all night without one, never felt like I was topdecking them too much, honestly with 3 gavony's they aren't even that bad of a top deck. Feel like this list is pretty optimized to be honest.
Beat B/W Eldrazi, Burn, Living End, Drew next 2 rounds
Beat Living end again in t8 (same player), U/R twin, and split w/ grixis twin.
congrats man! did you ever really need Feed the Clan? and don't you go into topdeck mode really fast with no additional card draw e.g. Abzan Charm / Painful Truths?
There were 3 burn players, so including a sideboard card that wins your the match on cast is pretty good. This is a g/w aggro deck, not a midrange junk deck so I feel the draw is fine but should either be in the sideboard against the rock matchups, game 1 you should just be trying to develop your board and turning dudes sideways.
