No, I dont see the tree horror being played, even though I'm always going on about how naya small zoo (not gruul) is one more 1 3/3 away from being better than gruul. This wont do it. people tested goyf lite (which was also a tree wasnt it?) and found it too hard to fit that in.
It wont do it, saddly, which means likely this was our best shot at a new good card.
Also before people ask, the new galvanic bolt only hits creatures, which makes it worse than pillar of flame, or flame slash to us.
If people are looking for Goyf lite, has anyone looked at Sylvan Advocate?
While it can't reach 5/6 or higher that Goyf can, and the requirements for it to be a 4/5 make it a decidedly midrange card, it's not horrible as a 2/3 Vigilance.
List is 100% brew at this stage but here are some thoughts:
Vexing Devil cycles here pumping Gnarly, which is a huge benefit. Now there's a real cost to decks auto-killing him.
Delirium should be easy to get while cycling in the deck, and running 6 free cantrips should help turn on more busted and consistent turns with BTE/Whackers. Faithless looting as a 1-2 of can help turn delirium on or get you out of flooded draws. I'll test it soon. I removed the Kird Apes/Goblin Guides as the other spells are more synergistic. It also could be right to only play 2 Gnarlwood Dryads as Nacatls 5/6 and 2 Ghor-Clan Rampager so you don't have to be as aggressive in turning on delirium.
I think it's too hard to reach 6 lands with this deck (on reliable way) to make it good enough. Many people (including me) think that Goyf is not that good in this deck and that we have better options and Sylvan Advocate is worse than Goyf.
In which deck? I was talking about Big/CoCo Zoo. Advocate is probably just bad in Gruul-needs-to-win-by-turn-4 zoo.
I really dont think its a good idea for normal zoo. Maybe in sucide zoo (which I always hated.) but by the time in anything "Normal" decks can make a nactal far too late when it's useful (turn 1/2)
Or you can play Steppe Lynx and get the same damage in early without working around it.
Did you like the new spoiled card Blessed Alliance for Naya CoCo? I feel its just so much better than dromoka's command. As a matter of fact I am thinking about replacing my singleton dromoka's command for that card.

Any pros and cons you have about it?
I thought about it, but having DroCo only be 2 mana is really good. If it was a destroy or exile effect instead of sac effect it would be much better. This also doesn't help protect creatures like DroCo does. It may be fine as a board slot though. I think it's much better in the board now that I think about it.
Also, please don't forget to use card tags on newly spoiled cards.
Utility is one thing, but command offers two modular effects for 2 mana. With mana efficiency being the name of the game in older formats, I dont think that you need "scale up" cards.

I know but if we are being honest, more often than not (about 80% of the time) it just works as a removal and is sometimes conditional. This is a non conditional removal, more useful against decks like bogles, infect and jund. The 4 life mode (which is admittedly the weakest mode) is useful against burn. And the untapping is just a great combat trick. I'd say that even if we are using one of the modes is better than the two modes we can get 80% of the time from dromoka's. Is my reasoning wrong or not considering something? I am open for discussion :).
It just seems more charm to me then command. Its is fine, but not as often useful. Gain 4 health is more often an anti aggro card, but if you pump and negate a bolt, you probably "gained more life" than 4. Sac effects are useful vs boogles or jund, but against everything else pump fight generally works. Untapping is more combat tricks, but is pretty win more.
All the modes of command are cheaper and widerspread than ghis card, so the build your own card will work out better. This card is better in combat, but thsts not why you run command, you run command because of its out of combat utility.
As far as evolution. Its really powerful. Not green sun zenith good, but very good at toolboxing... Probably better in meleria comapny though. Its basically a one shot pod.
I really like evolution, and I'll probably end up messing around with it. I can see a build with 1 new thalia, 1 huntmaster, 1 teeg, 1 thundermaw, 3 voice, 1 tireless tracker. This is a really powerful toolbox card.
I noticed your main board contains 58 cards. Do you perhaps know which 2 are missing from your list as I would like to give your list a run in our LGS qualifier coming weekend. I have all of the cards you listed so far.

That just sounds like Kiki Chord or Abzan Company without the instant-win combo juice. I think it behooves Zoo players to be careful and not water down the aggro Plan A in the name of testing out random tech.

This. One of Zoo's biggest problems is the inability to filter draws, so it makes up for it by playing a maximally efficient list. Once you start going to toolbox mode without that being the focus of the deck you begin to nullify that efficiency that the deck is centered around.

Yeah it seems like they are shifting alot of filter out of blue, giving green creature/land filter, red looting, and white artifact/planeswalker filter.

Eek.. Forgot to put 2x scavenging ooze, thanks for seeing it
So yesterday and tonite. I won both modern tournies with zoo. I was playing whacker. Idk if I'm the only one. But yesterday I kept playing my hand and playing goyf last. I hated drawing it, only like seeing it in a grindy match. So even with winning, tonite I took the Playset out. I put 3x young wolf and added the 3rd rancor. I really enjoyed it. I also am running 3x vexing Devils again with paths in side.

Over the last year or so,it seems as if green is getting some fairly strong filtration. First they printed Collected Company, then Oath of Nissa + Traverse the Ulvenwald, and now Eldritch Evolution.
