Not a lot if burn in my meta so adjust accordingly.
How do you get away with running 0 vapor snags? How do you deal with goyfs, large oozes, wurmcoils etc? I personally never leave the house without my vapor snags as I love them. They slow down opposing threats, save your own creatures from removal and the lifeloss can be important in a deck that just chips away at it's opponent.
I run a list inspired by yours and I'm having loads of fun with it.

The questions I'm getting asked are a bit strange since they're entirely deck construction and not strategic; so the answer is "if it's good in your meta". Eg: if there were a lot of Tron I'd probably play a few vapor snags; but in general an Unsummon variant isn't good in a control oriented tempo deck - it's much better in a more beatdown oriented deck like the Swiftspear version or UW Delver was in standard, this shell cares about the card a lot more.
I never understand questions about Tarmogoyf - do you guys just scoop when it gets cast or something? You could just play magic and play well and maybe win anyway?
Threads because I was expecting Jund / testing different cards out.
Way too much focus on specific cards and not enough on strategy IMO.

Hey people, just attended a 60 player tournament yesterday. A U/R Delver deck won the finals (against Jeskai Ascendancy Combo). Don't know much about the deck (I played B/W tokens, and did poorly), but I thought I'd post the list here in case you're interested.
So i asked a dumb and basic question a long time ago and i don't believe i got an answer. So i'll field it again
if you open with delver and swiftspear, which one do you drop on turn 1? i'm aware its probably match up dependent and dependent on the cards in your hand, but which do you find yourself doing more?

I speak in sarcasm because calling people ******* ******** is not allowed.
With no other factors to go on I personally think you go Delver first because the possibility of flipping delver with a spell that pumps swiftspear gets you in for 5 and the deck is currently built to maximize damage on turns where there is minimal risk.

Decks I have in my bag of tricks- Needless to say, someone who wants to play will probably have a deck UB/x Faeries UR Storm XURWB Affinity G Elves UW control
Absolutely Delver. Swiftspear's hastiness allows her to come to the part a little late and still do good work. The possibility to flip delver T2 is also worth way more than the 1-2 damage from a T1 swiftspear.
Agree. Play delver first. Although lately I've been using nivmagus elemental instead of swiftspear and I play that first so I can exile something like probe for the perma-pump. I like guaranteed damage.

I believe the artifact destruction spell of choice is mainly dictated by your own deck/gameplan. Shattering Spree
Best used in the lower land count UR Delver lists (ie Swiftspear over Snapcaster). These tend to have a greater focus on red mana and cant reliably hit 4-5 land to cast the more powerful artifact destruction
Smash to Smithereens
Good if your gameplan is to burn your opponent out quickly. (IE you are running lava spike/gutshots)
Vandalblast
Good if you are running the slower UR Delver lists (ie Snapcasters/Dig Through Time). Can be flashed back for 1cmc or overloaded at 5.
Shatterstorm
Fairly interchangeable with Vandalblast.

I agree with you, but in my meta people discovered that chalice of the void is awesome against delver, so even though I run the snap/DTT version, I still play shattering spree. Shattering spree can destroy a chalice on 1 and it's easy to both cast and flash back.
If a deck is bringing Chalice in against you they probably have a terrible MU, and you likely won G1. Then you bring in Smash to Smithereens and thank them for the free bolt and free roll T2.
Seems my twin deck has started to take on u/r delver qualities so i might end up seeing where it goes by working some delver's into and taking it to a LGS and see how it does.

5678Shattering Spree also allows you to get around Welding Jar and counterspells, and there's the option to take out multiple artifacts.
Smash gives up the flexibility for instant speed and 3 damage.
