Patrick, why don't you have any Might of Old Krosa in your 75? Is it card availability or you just don't like how the card plays out? In my testing I've found Groundswell to be pretty underwhelming. Also how good was Piracy Charm? I've never actually played with it so I'd like to hear some thoughts on it.

@oPopartz: I never really liked Might of Old Krosa. For me it only goes well in BUG infect where you can overload the board with creatures and once all removal is spent you get to use it for value. I have a set of it but it is not good in my current 75 with so many tricks, plus it feels like a sorcery. :/ Piracy Charm does work against Merfolk, Infect, Affinty and stupid Grim Lavamancers thay just have to die. :))
My current SB Plan vs. Eldrazi: -3 Apostle's Blessing, -1 Mutagenic Growth, +3rd and 4th Spellskite, + 2 Dispel (+2 Spell Pierce instead if Colorless Eldrazi for Chalice of the Void and Ratchet Bomb, and -1 more Mutagenic Growth, +3rd Wild Defiance as an extra measure vs. Chalice)
Hi all. It's taken me a while (and I mean a WHILE) to decided what deck to paper out in modern. I've decided on infect, ordered most of my cards the other day. My list is pretty stock, a few bits of spice here and there. Been keeping track of my games on Cockatrice. Currently 20-8 (70%) which i feel is solid in an open modern meta -haven't played Eldrazi once-.
I'm mostly trying to prepare for post ban modern. My current sideboard:
Pretty stock, I'm trying Pulse's over finks. My experience with the burn deck hasn't been as bad as some have shared. I'm testing grafdigger's cage vs Melira CoCo and Snapcaster mage. Mix results so far. The other bad matchup is vs BG/x most definitely. I'm wondering about a geist of saint-traft sb. Sounds spicy. I saw someone posting about it a while ago. Would you all just say wild defiance is better is just most cases, worth upping sb/mb count?

20-8 is not 60% lol. Also I wouldn't keep track of how good a deck is from testing on cockatrice the players are terrible and nothing like what you will play against in a real tournament.

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.
Right my mistake. Its more like 71%. Late at night for me. Thanks for your very uninspiring response though. I'm sure many people do preliminary testing on cockatrice. Still worth keeping track of IMO. It gives you an idea of what matchups are bad and what are generally good.
I'm not sure if Pact of Negation is necessary but it could also be fine. I definitely think you need some number of Twisted Images in your 75 though. The card is way too good to not play any.

Pact is just a pet card of mine. Its only really any good in metas with a lot of UWR control though. Definitely a changeable spot. I'm running 2 twisted Image MD. Probably worth at least another spot SB

I totally support this. Ill always run 3 twisted in the 75. Its also really good for birds, noble, signal pest, ornithoper, static caster. Its to good.
I came top 4 in a 17 man tournament two days ago. I made some mistakes but im getting there, im running one piracy charm. I totally love it. I used the island walk and the discard during the day. I recommend a single copy in all lists.
I was looking at running a copy or maybe 2 (1 main/1 sideboard) but wasn't sure how good it was. But I can't see a downside on any of the modes when I look at it. Unless I'm crazy, but I'm also very new to infect

Yep i totally recommend a single copy in the main. If your meta supports it, another copy in the side.
What do you think about adding spreading seas to the sb? We can use it against eldrazi and also works well with piracy charm since the eldrazi overlords have a ton of blockers? What do you usually sideout on your simic infect decklist?

Spreading seas, that actually quite a cool idea. Definatetly works well with P charm. Yeah it might be worth a one of or even two of in the SB. Soon the eldrazi menace will be over though.
let me know what you guys think. i love lantern but i think it will be really bad after the bans. been doing well with this list. win a lot of games with become immense.
Hey Artfranc, I recognize you. You're "that lantern guy" from magic-league. Welcome to infect, the less-dark Dark Side. I would suggest more Twisted Image. Another point of contention is whether the 4th become immense is a good idea. Personally I prefer 3 because 2 in the hand is often dead.
Hi all, what do you think of traverse the ulvenwald post-rotation? Delirium enabled by rancor and spellskite, and it can fetch all infect creatures, as well as pendelhaven. I'm curious about people's opinions.
I like the list overall. I'm a big fan of developing a deck with which you are comfortable and only making small tweaks (that is, unless something necessitates a large overall change). Personally, I would only swap out the Slip Through Space and Rancor for 2x Distortion Strike. The "get damage through blockers" spells are all pretty similar, but I've always considered the +2/0 and unblockable across two turns that you get from Distortion Strike to be the superior choice. Also, since you are running a MB Wild Defiance, the two Distortion Strike casts trigger Wild Defiance twice! If I were to ever run Wild Defiance MB, I'd be sure to run it alongside Distortion Strike. Good luck!
