For me I believe rancor is better in a burn and affinity/token filled meta. The option to natures claim your rancor against burn can blow them out if they decide to go all in on your face. Against affinity and tokens I like being able to attack every turn into 1/1 or 0/2 creatures. Recently I switched to distortion strike because of the popularity of eldrazi decks. Rancor doesn't do anything against the fat eldrazis and apostles blessing doesn't work vs eldrazi. I'm also definitely trying out 3 or 4 copies slip through space main board after oath releases. The redundancy of unblockable effects doesn't hurt us so much because it can be used to cycle as well. I believe it's an upgrade to distortion strike. Also fuels the graveyard immediately for become immense.
What is the general consensus regarding Serums Visions vs Gitaxian Probe? I've read that Gitaxian Probe is good for players new to the deck, but is one generally better than the other?

If you're running become immense, you need 4 probes. Also knowing what your opponent can and can't do is huge and invaluable information. I personally run 4 probes and 2 serum visions. It also makes for a very easy board out in games 2-3.
I'm not sure how I feel about slip through space yet, I may try it.
On another note, what do you guys think the chances of Infect hitting tier 1 are in this new meta?
What do you think? And i need some input on how or IF you sideboard vs Tron, i expect Tron to be on the rise big time now with Twin gone.
Thanks in advance for any tips, thoughts and all
What do you guys think of my goofy Jund Infect list? It's mostly just something I thought of to be different and is in a very immature state. I cut Crusader to a 2-of because he has negative synergy with Assault Strobe, which seems like the primary reason to play red in Infect. I am considering Fatal Frenzy and Inquisition of Kozilek. I am uncertain about whether the Wolf Run is workable. It seems like it could really help grindy games, but it does not produce colored mana.
These days, some wizards are finding they have a little too much deck left at the end of their $$$.

I think Kessig Wolf Run is way too expensive for this deck - manawise. Tapping 4 lands will provide +1/+0 and trample - thats asked a lot.
Not playing Pendelhaven seems like a huge mistake to me.

The great Eldrazi Overlords will return to the Modern World.
Necropede is "the next best" infecter "on" colors while also beeing an answer on Grim Lavamancer, and ranger's guile pretty much is a fifth vines of vastwood many times.
Regarding the Tron matchup: Would you rather side in 2 Spell Pierce or 2 Natures Claim? Also, would you rather go with 4 natures claim than 3 Twisted Image?

Could the presence of burn make Flensermite worth it? Pump to gain five sounds pretty good.
The K-command and GCR are both good ideas. Why do you want Dreadbore or Slaughter Games? Is Hierarch still good when she can only produce one of three colors? The other option would be Birds and losing exalted sounds bad. Could a Painful Truths help matchups with a lot of removal?

Hey guys. Quick question— I apologize if this isn't the place to ask/if I'm interrupting.
I recently finished building Twin, and I got to play two events with it before it got banned out...so I'm looking for something else competitive. I switched over to U/R Delver for now, but I'm not convinced yet that it's fantastic, although it's definitely okay enough to hold me over until I figure out what I'm going to do. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you switched over from Twin in the past. A couple guys at my LGS are trying hard to sell me on it, but I'm not so sure I'd be a huge fan of the playstyle— although I do like the mindgame aspect of making an opponent play around a one-hit KO. Could this be a good choice for me? I'm gonna wait until after the PT to buy into something, but this is what I think I'm leaning towards.
Dreadbore? Because Dispel is a thing these days and it gets neatly around that, hitting all relevant targets you'd want. Slaughter Games? It does what it does well against cards you'd want to nail, like Scapeshift.
Hierarch is still ok, I'd consider cutting it for the right mix of cards, but they'd have to be really good.
Birds are indeed terrible here, nobles or nothing. Painful Truths would be sweet tho.
Edit: And Flensermite .... just isn't good enough, not even vs Burn.
So I'm thinking about trying to next level this IQ trial coming up by maining 3 Spellskites. I'm sure that everyone will be bringing some Infect hate, and it makes the Burn matchup better, which is also expected to be running rampant.
Overall, I have been very happy with Slip Through Space. Of course, this has been exactly 1 tournament, and I will work on refining this list in the near future.
Has anyone considered using Natural State in place of Nature's Claim? I feel like it is worth testing in case they lock you out of the infect kill and you're forced to beat their life down.

Slip Through Space seems like a MD card to me, especially when focussing more on the Become Immense plan. After G1 we can side them out for Twisted Image if we expect Spellskite.

The primary reason to run Jund infect is Kolaghan's Command, Terminate, Dreadbore, Slaughter Games and Ancient Grudge, and possibly Ghor-clan Rampager, not Assault Strobe. Assault Strobe should be a 2 of, no more. Phyrexian Crusader is a 4 of, no questions asked, and is a far better draw than Assault Strobe. And only 1 Rancor is suspect to me, given what this list is trying to do. Kill the 2 Flenser Mite at the very lieast and put crusader back up to 4, dump 2 strobes for rancor.

A couple of notes I'd like to add to the list:
1. I'm packing an Island because I think Blood Moon will be more prevalent going forward. Good idea?
2. I cut Serum Visions to make room for Slip Through Space. Should I have cut something else?
3. I'm fearing that with all the graveyard hate flying around, 4 Become Immense may be a bit excessive. How many (if any) do you think I should cut?
