My aggro matchup is even worse than what I expected. I played against a buddy's mono white Humans deck yesterday and lost like 12 out of 15 games. Pack Rat proved absolutely worthless in such a matchup, as did Scion of Oona.
I have therefore come to give Snappy another go as a 2-of. He can help us eliminate aggressive threats and also chains Cryptics. I also think I will include three further Spot Removals in my Sideboards: two deathmark and one disfigure.
I think it is really difficult for us to have a great matchup against aggro and combo/control simultaneously, but I think that our combo/control matchup is decent enough that we can focus more on aggro if we think that it will be a problem. I was never really a fan of snapcaster thoughtseize/inquisition because it was at sorcery speed. I think snapcaster is great against aggro decks if we are playing one mana removal. I think some number of disfigure and dismember are great. I also really like slaughter pact in the main. My list above is a little extreme, but it has a decent matchup against aggro. It is also much easier to drop mistbind on four which I think is important in a lot of non blue matchups.

I've been running a copy of Think Twice, just to get some more draw, but I'm intrigued with Military Intelligence. It's often we're running multiple tokens at opponents, card draw should be improved and more cards is more cards.

So I'm currently playing a copy of think twice. I thought about intelligence, but its really only good when you have bitterblossom and I'm usually winning if I have bitterblossom. It seems like an unnecessary win more card, and a horrible draw otherwise. I would love to be wrong about this however. I would love to see some real draw power in this deck.

The Control Fae version has a horrible matchup vs aggro and a bad matchup vs UWR control. It is good vs. combo but there isn't a whole lot of that going around atm (pure spell based combo like eggs or storm). But the tempo version has much better aggro and UWR control matchups since they can just tempo them out and put them on a much quicker clock.
I played ten matches against GW Hatebears/Aggro and the matchup was about 50/50. I think if I had mulliganed a few questionable hands, things would've gone more my way. I kept a few too many one landers that just couldn't get there.
I've had good luck against Jund and Twin, but the Pod match kinda sucks.
Countermagic is the smell before rain, the sun on the horizon and the chocolate chips in my mint chocolate chip ice cream. It's the first time I saw a woman naked and the first time I smelled perfume. It's that feeling you get when you know you're right.
But most of all; it's the feeling of playing Magic
So is everyone on the "control" version of Faeries? The pure tempo version seems to be working a lot better for me in testing.

It's worth watching LSV's second set of videos on Channel Fireball. Especially his conclusions at the end. I think I will try your tempo version out, but Liliana-control has a good match-up with aggro. UWR control is the deck I most struggle with (two competitive matches, two losses). Other decks I win or sometimes win
How is it even possible to lose to UWR control? That has more to with skill than deckbuilding. UWR variants, and especially UWR Kiki-control, are our easiest matchups.

This, I lost about 2-3 matches against UWR out of 30+. I would say, you played the deck wrong if you had issues, but that doesn't mean that the tempo version can't work. I said multiple times in this thread, that the Fae core IS capable of adapting to multiple playstyles and you have to find the one that suits you best, so everything is fine. I like the tempo list, but I can see problems if you have a mediocre start there.
I can't even imagine how the Fae "Control" Core should has problems against UWR, especially if you're playing Liliana - and on the other side i don't see how she should polish up the aggro matchup, although it's granted she buys at least two turns.
I wanted to ask another question, as that happened multiple times during the weekend on cockatrice: What do you do against Vedalken Shackles?
I'm confused by Sam's list. He is playing pack rat but not main decking discard and is instead maindecking cards like peppersmoke with a lower faerie count. I am a personal fan of the singleton smoke right now, but not in pack rat builds. I was excited to see Sam play a pack rat build (to figure out what I was missing) but I doubt he has an optimal build.

I actually like the list Ari posted. Thought about playing Slaughter Pact for a while now and I guess I'm going to try it. Not a fan of Damnation in the sideboard, but sometimes that's a necessary evil. I think the list can have the necessary edge over aggro Decks and I'm going to test it for a while.
Edit: made some games... never came to casting Scion but the deck felt good. It's basically what I was playing before Pack Rat + Scion - Swords so not a big deal. Slaughter Pact is as amazing as I initially thought but I always was scared of the 3 upkeep cost (which don't really matter luckily). I would recommend testing something along those lines if you had problems with the "control" shell.
I've been playing a mix of v clique and scion for a while now and I've been a big fan. I've also been playing slaughter pact in the main for awhile and it has always felt good. When you want to be able to cast multiple spells in a turn, which happens often, it is perfect and the upkeep cost rarely matters. The card than I'm more curious about is tragic slip. I've tested it in the past and I wasn't a fan. Has anyone had success with the card?

Question from a non-faeries player here, but how many faerie creatures do you guys say you have to run in a deck to make SSS have viable text. I am not expecting it to counter Karn or anything but i would like to think of it as a counter to most CMC 1 and 2 spells.
Am i looking at the card wrong, is it basically a 1/1 flying flash w text that may sometimes be relevant? Or is it more often a spell snare-ish effect with a body?
Sorry i should have been more clear, without running BB, how many creatures only would u need to run to make SSS runable. I ask bc I am trying to build a bant control deck using SSS to slow down early plays to get eternal command online.
Finished GP Boston at 11-3-1, drawing final round for prize split and ending 47th. With a win (matchup was in my favor), would've been top 25. Played against U Tron, Burn, Scapeshift, 2 UWR Control, 1 UR Twin, 2 Affinity, 2 RG Tron, 1 Melira Pod, 2 Kiki Pod. Losses came against Burn, Scapeshift, and 1 RG Tron.
How is it even possible to lose to UWR control? That has more to with skill than deckbuilding. UWR variants, and especially UWR Kiki-control, are our easiest matchups.
Heh. Game 1 he kept a hand with 1x land, 2x Spell Snare, 2x Snapcaster, 1x Mana Leak, 1x Lightning Bolt and I couldn't find a way to play around it. He landed Blade Splicer, then Geist. I landed Liliana twice, but both times she simply cast edict and fogged a Colonnade. Useful, but not enough. What is the best way to sideboard againts UWR?
I think the popular choices against control are negate, Jace, and maybe Glen-Elendra (if you're running that). I've been using Curse of Echoes and it's been effective so far.
