3-1 last night after a long string of 2-2s. My online results have been better than paper recently sue to a dearth of Tron, Amulet, Scapeshift, Griselbrand, and the like. Lost to Mardu, then beat Jeskai, Mardu, and UR Phoenix.
Blood Moon and Huntmaster are boss cards in the grindy games. My second Mardu opponent did me a favor by boarding in 2 EE (?) and leaving 2 Kambal in the board.
Also, good news: our Phoenix matchup feels pretty easy as long as you have a few Vapor Snag or Simic Charm for Thing in the Ice.

Just out of curiosity, what would you say is your rate of cycling versus hardcasting Obstructionist?
Four Snapcasters seem like a lot for me, but I'll accept that there is plenty of room for individual choice in building this deck.

Any interest in the new Incubation // Incongruity split card?
Incubation is Sorcery; dig 5 deep for a creature, put it in hand, and put the others on the bottom of the library in a random order.
Incongruity is 1GU Instant; exile target creature and its controller makes a 3/3 Frog token.
We certainly have a way easier time dealing with a 3/3 token than a Thought-Knot Seer, opposing Goyf, Hollow One, Angler, Shadow, etc.
Two interesting things about the card are that it's both and instant and sorcery for Goyf, and that it's a weird card that pitches to Shoal for 4, for those of us running Shoal. Not sure if either of those things are necessary or good. But it's an option.
Or, they could unban Preordain in a few weeks and make us all happy again.

I considered a Spellbreaker for Hoot swap, like just 1, and then I thought it was crazy. Hoots allows for the best openings of the deck, when we get a turn 2 trampling 4/4 and can hold up Bolt or Stubborn Denial. Spellbreaker is interesting, but with exception of Path and a few stray Terminates, what kills Hoots that doesn't kill Spellbreaker? Mandrills dodges Bolt and Push 100% of the time and does it at 1 or 2 mana. To me, it's an easy 3-4 in any RUG Delver list.

Tried Incubation. We need 4 Snaps to make it work. But still, it's much worse than Stirrings because it can't find lands. It's good against midrange because we want threats nonstop there, and improves our post-board matchups; increases threat density without folding to grave hate, unlike Traverse, and can find sideboard threats that also ignore grave hate, like Hunt and Hazo. Exile side is also only relevant against some matchups, but it does improve those (Tron, Jund, etc.).
Probably need to go up to 18 lands at least to support Snap though, and increase the creature count in general. Incubation still whiffs sometimes either way if we're on Delver. Significantly worse than something like Sleight of Hand in most game 1s. Our deck is still bad. Here is my very rough first draft.
the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.
2-1 against a salty Burn opponent who left my lethal Bolt sit on the stack until they ran out of time. That's 8 minutes I won't get back.
2-1 against Jund. All stars here, as always, were Blood Moon and Huntmaster. I won game 3 against two resolved Goyfs to my one by blocking in combat, then eating card types with Hoots to kill the one and shrink the other to 3/4. Eventually I bounced the remaining Goyf with Simic Charm, then locked the opponent out of green with Blood Moon. It all felt awesome.
2-0 against UR Pyromancer Thing. These matchups seem goos for us, although earlier I had played against a version running Shackles, and that was rough.
0-2 against Merfolk. Matchup feels worse even than Humans because of Islandwalk and their nonsusceptibility to Blood Moon.
2-0 against Titanshift. Easy matchup. Land a threat, attack, be sure to have Denial / Leak up. I'm playing 2 Delay out of the board, too, as extra catchall counters for matchups just like this one. It may be overkill, even.
Deck feels great, and the more I play it, the more I like it. I think Assassin's Trophy has improved the Jund matchup slightly, much like Path enables your postboard plans against Jeskai.

Future sight goyfs for sure!! Shocks will be a small mix as when fetching for them I've trained myself to find set symbols quickly, ( RTR Vents, Diss Pool, And new GuildAl Grounds) and I'm looking at some older mercadian masques islands and onslaught forest right now actually..
And it's not going to be finished like this year by any stretch. But this is my deck. To be honest my list tries what ever this thread tries. Nothing seems to make me as happy as pre probe ban list but I remain hopeful something will get printed.
Simic Charm is the truth. I keep tinkering around to get more. I started with 1, went to 2 for a while, and now I've cut Vapor Snag for another Charm. To keep the 1/2 cmc blue card balance the same for Shoals, which by the way I'm finding great right now, I've cut a Chart a Course for a Curious Obsession. I hate Obsession on a blank board, but then Chart isn't much better in that situation, and Obsession has other upsides.

Here's the (first) spell-matter creature of 2019: will Pteramander be playable in our deck? It fits phoenix decks for sure, but I think it can give us some edge too. What do you think? I don't know if it can exist along side mandrills, but I want to believe so!
And what about Warrant // Warden? Warrant can help dealing with bigger creature. I don't know if it's worth though.
One of the things I love about Mandrills is that you can get it down on turn 2. Another is that it dodges Fatal Push and Bolt 100% of the time. Even with a full set of Thought Scours, adapting this into a real threat is probably happening turn 3 or 4. And you can get blown out by removal if you sink a few mana into it to grow it.
Seems really good for the UR builds, which have always lacked a big threat. I'm not sure it works for us, though.

That's where shoal can come in.
Adding threat density and blue cards may help shoal builds.
This is one of the most interesting cards for our deck spoiled since we got back to Ravnica. We needed another 1 mana threat and we may get one which is also blue. Let me hope
