The combo activates Pridemates at each increment (so you have inf/inf mates after the combo...). As said, the Relic-Warder can also be used as disruption and the Metamorph is a solid card on its own as well (aside from the fact that you'll never have U mana to spend on it.) My deck (which I used to play in extended, now in the process of deciding what to do to it for Modern) also used some of sword of a & b items, a trample equip, a lifesteal equip, and 4xStoneforge Mystic as well.
Until they bolt your sister and the combo that you had to have four specific cards, most of which are vulnerable to all of Modern's instant speed removal, does nothing. I think it's a neat combo, but it's a little too fickle and easy to dispatch, and it requires taking a ton of design space away from cards that have consistently proven their worth.
TheRogue seems to have something completely else in mind, and I always love seeing people play with stuff in their mind like that, but that's not what most versions of this deck are meant to be doing and you will have already warped things so much just to include those slots that you might as well do it differently? Maybe not even run any sisters but Auriok Champion since she's burn resistant?
What do you think of Spirit Bonds as a 2 of? Seems like it could help during the mid/late game.
People were talking about it a few pages ago. I think it's neat, but it takes a little while to get value from it and sucks up a lot of your resources (which like you said is fine during the mid or late game.) That seemed to be the consensus.

other than blood moon, what is best to run in the sideboard against those match ups?
From the mono-white build, I main Ghost Quarter to hurt Tron badly. I've also begun using two oblivion ring maindeck, which seem fine in the multicolored build's sideboard. Stony Silence is good against Tron, as well.
UWr can be rough. Suppression Field stymies their greedy mana and takes down any of their planeswalkers. Other than that, your Faith's Shield might be better as a Burrenton Forge-Tender, since it can still protect you from a burn spell while being more relevant when you're ahead of UWr, which is where you want to stay.
how it stony silence good against tron? the only activated artifacts i see them use is sphere, oblivion stone and map. is shutting off the colored mana of chromatic sphere important in the early game?
the annoying part of there deck is how it bounces between karn liberated and oblivion stone if one is locked down it seems to be freed up mid game by the other.

Merfolk! showing magic players what a shower is since Lorwyn!
I just got my hands on a batterskull, trading it for a few standard cards and I was wondering if it could have a slot in this deck. I think it would be great but I am not sure if getting to five lands is too much for this deck.
I really love the idea of this deck, and what it can do with Norin. Seeing it tested with Genesis Chamber can just make for silly trigger interactions and gameplay. Have you guys found the Norin version stands up pretty well for itself? I know it won't be a world beater all ofthe time, but does anyone have a sample RW deck they get good results with? Thanks in advance!
after testing I dropped the black and orzhov charms for white red, this is where my deck is at at the moment. I added goblin assault for a back up to norin. so far seems solid, can trigger all of the decks essential etb effects down side is it isn't tutorable, but on average can keep pace with genesis chamber, wouldn't mind trying the new Goblin Rabblemaster at some point, the other upside of assault is it isn't a creature so less vulnerable to removal. I like 4 boros charm in the deck for fighting off wrath effects.
whats the consensus on Mikaeus, the Lunarch?
earlier you guys were talking about the need for a late game 1 drop that was large insize that could be fetched off of ranger, I was somewhat ponderin that mikaeus could serve such a role.

I think multiple auriok champion would in theory hinder there ability combo out in either direction. protection from black wards off abrupt decay (not use to pod playing path to exile) either direction is refering to there combo of infinite life gain and infinite damage. infinite damage from murderous redcap cannot combo off since it will give you infinite life by triggering, also pro red and black keeps champion from being burned down by redcap. downside is you need 2 champion for this sitation to work.

Thanks. Any particular advice against Tron? (Both RG and U) I can never seen to get a handle on that matchup. Even in game 2.
Full credit to Paralda, I'm using a decklist he posted. (And having good success so far. Im loving the Norin interaction with the lifegain, even though the champions get removed quickly) I'm considering using Oblivion Ring as well, but I'm not sure what I'd take out.
2 Arid Mesa
2 Cavern of Souls
4 Clifftop Retreat
2 Mountain
6 Plains
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Ajani's Pridemate
2 Auriok Champion
4 Champion of the Parish
4 Norin the Wary
2 Purphoros, God of the Forge
4 Ranger of Eos
4 Serra Ascendant
4 Soul Warden
4 Soul's Attendant
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Path to Exile
How to deal with Tron:
Ghost Quarter during their Upkeep when they have 2 Tron pieces.
Ghost Quarter Eye of Ugin as they then have to draw into their Eldrazi and Wurmcoils.
Suppression Field slows down Map, Karn, and O-Stone. Stony Silence shuts down their Chromatic Spheres/Stars, Maps, and O-stones.
Preventing them from searching is good as is slowing down their mana development.
Avoid playing out all your threats, keep some in hand. While you want to have a fast clock against Tron, they have a bunch of board wipes like Firespout. You want to always be able to play something post wipe. Your Honor effects are really valuable in this matchup as it increases your clock a lot.
Karn is their only piece of spot removal. Exhaust their wipes and keep a steady stream of threats going.

For the most part its a pretty stock list, running only 3 Honor of the Pures is a bit surprising. I'd love to hear what matchups they faced and a tournament report.

No land destruction, either. Would be interested to see what he faced all day. Love Ghostly Prison, though.
For the person curious about Melira Pod, Suppression Field stops their infinite combo, as well. That's in addition to all of the other sideboard cards mentioned. Just be careful not to keep too many sideboard cards in your opening hand, because they can turn into a beat down deck surprisingly quickly.
archangel of thune I've been wondering how well she would perform in this deck, playing her essentially grows your army on ETB. but seemed costly at 5 mana.

Me too. She comes down late enough that you might not have anything else on the board, her stats are the same as Hero of Bladehold but with flying. She dodges the most prominent removal. I can see the advantages but honestly I think I'd rather just run w/ Orzhov Charm to negate opposing removal and act as additional removal. I still feel my greatest challenge is the low interaction the deck has. Its not that I think any of the changes these decks have made are bad but I guess I don't understand how they make a net positive change to the deck as opposed to just a net neutral change.

if the deck was going to run her i'd sort of want to splash green to mana ramp into her, so i can run birds of paradise/noble hierarch in fact i'd prefer birds for there flying.
with x sisters on the field angels's ability is very potent as it grows your whole board, but at the same time i might be getting enough of that ability already by turn 5 by previously landing an ajani's pridemate and protecting him with spells.
before turn 5 multiple honor of the pure might be doing enough as well.
adding counters in general to every creature is why Mikaeus, the Lunarch looks very interesting to me as well.

Just skimmed the video. Interesting stuff. Didn't seem like Thune did all that much for him, except help him recover from an Anger of the Gods against Jund (which is a lot more than nothing, I guess.) I think how good she is based heavily on how reliant you are on Windbrisk Heights.
He seemed to win most of his games with just the core of the deck (and with maindeck Brave the Elements, which is neat,) which I think is always good to see. I was more interested in his sideboard than his main:
I think 4 Stonys is a bit overkill, but I've been considering turning the Ethersworns in my sideboard into Thalias and I think he's convinced me. He brought in Champion in almost every match, even against decks that didn't have black or red, which I think is more proof of how serious of a threat it can be for us. I love Arbiter and still think he's better than Aven Mindcensor, for sure.

I'm down to two Proclamation of Rebirth in the main. I've been testing with Return to Ranks and it rarely pays off as well as Procs do.
4 norin the wary
4 auriok champion
1 soul's attendant
4 soul warden
4 champion of the parish
4 ajani's pridemate
2 purphoros, god of the forge
2 ranger of eos
2 mentor of the meek
3 goblin assault
4 boros charm
2 faith's shield
still trying to work in phyrexian metamorph and leonin relic-warder, the combo still looks very tempting.
