I did a few practice games with a friend yesterday and I find Ugin, the spirit dragon quite annoying. He enters the battlefield and exiles our complete board. Are there any suggestions, what to board against an Ugin? I thought about pithing needle. But this would be another sideboard card, that needs to fit in.
Edit: I probably don't have the budget for gaddock teeg btw. But I#m considering it, if Tron really sees more play.
Suppression Field would delay it if they only have the exact mana to cast Ugin but Gaddock with an Umbra is really the way to go against it.

No doubt that Tron will be the majority of the meta now. Gaddock Teeg may very well be the best option, but Pithing Needle is definitely a good budget option that does the same thing.

Moving forward after all this Ban and the assumed rise of Bx Eldrazi decks. This will be my deck and sideboard. Thinking of bringing down my 3x Suppression Field to 2x and add another Stony Silence because of the assumed rise in Affinity also. Thoughts?
Do you guys think we can try to load Leonin Arbiter in our SB plan? helps in hosing those tutor of Eldrazi & Tron. Thoughts on the post-ban meta?
Our sideboards are identical; trying to figure out a new mb/sb Suppression Field ratio as well. In regards to Leonin, I've played with him in my MB for the last few weeks. I'm a big fan of catching opponents off-guard game 1, so in addition to 2x S. Field, I run singles of Ghostly Prison and Leonin Arbiter. A turn 3 Leonin + Totem Armor is very satisfying and mostly ends with a game win. The number of Twin players at both of my LGSs made it necessary to MB Field and Prison, so I was excited to take them out after the ban, but I think I'll wait and see if they retain effectiveness as the meta shifts.
It hasn't been updated to adjust for the new set/bans but I'm not sure if anything needs to be changed as there weren't really anything specifically targeting Amulet Bloom or Twin. Possibly Grafdigger's Cage could be replaced if graveyard/CC strategies aren't popular enough.
Oath of the Gatewatch is about to be releases, and we can only speculate what new tools will be put into the deck. Thought-knot seer maybe, or Reality Smasher. But I think the deck will be tweaked around a while to fit the metagame just right, probably with better consistency against tron and affinity/burn. I think this matchup will always favor us though, and here are some tricks to beat them:
They do run T1 discard, typically around 5, so play around it. If you're on the draw with only one creature in hand, consider mulligans.
They run around seven removals spells MB such as Path to Exile, Slaughter Pact, and Go for the throat. In other words, about 11% of their deck is removal. They will have a removal spell consistently in the first 9ish cards, so your Kor Spiritdancer doesn't have good chances.
Play hard to get. If they didn't hit a T1 discard and your graveyard is empty, try to keep it that way! It can be difficult for them to get anything in your yard from there on, so their Blight Herder isn't gonna be that useful. So maybe hold up that Path to Exile!
Don't side out Rancor for any reason. Its pretty much the only way to rip through Lingering Souls tokens. If they resolve a Lingering souls and you don't have a trampler, things are going south quick.
I am going to take out 1 Rest in Peace for the 4th Stony Silence. Stony seems pretty important in the new meta and BW Processors should push out graveyard strategies a bit.
I have been playing BW Processors for over a month now at TNM and FNM. Bogles is a terrible matchup for the deck. My SB vs. Bogles basically is 2 Spellskite, 1 Duress, and 2 Disenchant. Out goes 2 Go for the Throat, 1 Path to Exile, 1 Slaughter Pact, and something else. I know; it's not exciting. The Mono Black version is even worse against Bogles. As long as you can handle how early they cast HUGE dudes, you should be fine. Keep in mind that the Mono Black version has Night of Souls' Betrayal and can play it on turn 3 with the help of Mind Stone. Just something to keep in mind.

I agree on the Leylines; what does your MB look like? Assuming you're not already running 4 PtE main, I'd run x amount MB and stick the rest in your side. I'm also a big fan of Suppression Field; I cut them from my MB in lieu of Twin's ban, but I still keep at least two in the side.
How has Melira worked out for you? I rarely see Bogles play her over Spellskite, but it seems to be a more common occurrence as of late. I'm curious if you've noticed any particular advantages over Spellskite?

I am playing 2x Path to Exile in my MB. I never played more and never played less and always have been pretty happy with my number. I also ran 2x Suppression Fields until the recent Twin ban but cut them now. Although it is a great Card, I never was all that happy with it. I'll have to see how the meta changes now and put them back in the SB if I have to.
Well, one of the reasons I chose the Melira is the fact, that she is about 2€ and Spellskite is about 30€. I do have one Spellskite though and will probably put im in the SB as well. She also doesn't die to Nature's Claim and Twisted Image, which is another bonus. And while Spellskite stops all the pump spells, he doesn't stop an Exalted Inkmoth Nexus from attacking. Time will tell what will be better, for now I am going with the Meliras.

There's little argument that Melira is a stronger sideboard card than Spellskite against Infect. It could very well be the strongest sideboard card of all in that matchup. The problem, of course, is that having sideboard cards dedicated to a ~4% deck is a bit questionable. Spellskite is also great in the mirror and against Twin, plus it's pretty decent in some other matches like Burn, Amulet Bloom and even BGx. With Twin and Amulet Bloom removed from that equation, it might make sense to skip the Spellskites, but even then I'm not sure something as narrow as Melira is the best choice.

The thing is, we don't need Spellskite against Burn. It is actually a rather bad card in the Matchup since I am running 4x Leylines in the Sideboard. Besides that, the Matchup favors us a lot since we play 6-8 MB Lifelink Auras and have a pretty fast clock against them. I am still running 1x Spellskite in the SB, don't get me wrong, I think it is a great card. But our Infect matchup is really bad and I want to give her a shot and see, if she can turn things around G2/G3.

TO be honest, I have only played about 10 matches so far after making the changes, that is not enough to make any final conclusions, but so far, I am really impressed. Against Affinity, it basically reads "G - Instant - Destroy target Permanent" which is amazing. Kills Spellskite and Inkmoth Nexus when playing against Infect as well. I feel like it does everything Nature's Claim did, but better. I've been playing this deck for a year now and lost by far more games due to the 4 Life from NC than I won by getting 4 life from destroying my Rancor. I can't think of a single enchantment or artifact we want to destroy, that Natural State doesn't hit (Besides Wurmcoil, but we hava PtE against that anyways). Furthermore, it's great in the mirror without setting us behind in the damage race. It's simple, it's clean. It's perfect imo.

Sideboard cards are not about "needing" something, they are about improving as many matchups as possible as much as possible. Looking at your decklist it would seem that against Burn you would optimally want to take out 7 cards: 1 Keen Sense, 2 Spirit Mantle and 4 Kor Spiritdancer. There are only 5 cards to bring in with 4 Leylines and 1 Spellskite. In my opinion, Spellskite is significantly more useful against burn than Kor Spiritdancer, so being able to make that replacement helps the matchup. It's not needed to achieve a >50% win rate, but it will get you extra wins occasionally. Spellskite in the Burn matchup is not primarily about redirecting bolts to the face, it's more often used as a blocker and as a way to protect against Destructive Revelry. Worth noting in this context is that Nature's Claim is reasonable to bring in against burn, but Natural State is not.
I'm not saying you absolutely must have Spellskites, I'm just saying that in general you want your sideboard cards to be useful in more than 4% of the matchups.

Now this is something unexpected. I guess Probe more of a deck thinner, but it does help you plan your decisions, including names for Pithing Needle. But seeing it maindeck (and 3 copies of it) is really weird.
