This list looks solid. I played something similar (maindeck chalice) a few years ago. I really like it and think this is situated nicely for the meta since there are so many decks already abusing chalice. Ignoring stony silence as much as possible seems really smart.
Have you looked into Welding Jar over and number of Memnites?
Would you consider Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas over Ensoul Artifact or is the speed of ensoul just better than the versatility of Tezz?
I've been away from Magic overall for a few months but I figured I would dust off my Opals and see how things are going. I had a foray into Legacy but queue times were annoying so I'll stick with what I'm comfortable with. Besides the hype around G/B Tron and Lantern Control and the Humans deck, have there been many changes to our deck? I stopped around June or so but everything seems to be par for the course. I see that it's sliding off somewhat but that is usually how the cycle works.

1-2 Affinity (g2 and g3 the last and only possible card he could’ve topdecked to win was Aether Grid... and he did)

R1 is a pretty strong opponent, he plays a lot of cards that make affinity cringe, g3 he kept a hand that just needed a 2nd land and he didn’t find it until t4.
R2 I got the pair down, G1 I misplayed and didn’t leave up my colored mana, he went down to 3 with griselbrand and I had double galv blast in hand — he won that turn. G2 I spell pierced his Goryos vengeance and continued to win the next turn. G3 I put t1 Rest In Peace in play.
R3 was funny, we had played at an LCQ a few weeks ago and were both on different decks. His turn 1 was blinkmoth thopter pest, mine was overseer thopter mox citadel. He t2 put master into play, I t2 put champion into play. I eventually had skirge pest thopter champion , he had 4 blockers but he couldn’t block them all because his master couldn’t block champion so I attached Plating to him.

For you Affinity players. Any interest in this sequence off Enter the Unknown?
Opening hand: Darksteel Citadel, Glimmervoid or Spire of Industry, Ornithopter or Memnite, Springleaf Drum, Mox Opal, Enter the Unknown and your choice of Master of Etherium or Etched Champion.
T1 on the play: Drop Citadel, Ornithopter, Mox Opal, cast Drum off Citadel, Cast Enter the Unknown, put +1/+1 counter on O-thopter (if not a land revealed), play Spire of Industry, cast Master of Etherium off Opal, Spire and O-thopter tapped with drum. Entire hand puked on the board with a 2/3 flyer and a 5/5 Master before opponent puts a card on the table.
Viable? Yep I know its highly conditional.

I don't think Affinity has the land-count needed to take advantage of Enter the Unknown. Moreover, it seems just about useless after turn-one in Affinity.

Hey thanks for the reply. If the card revealed a land then I suppose it would work as well. What are the odds of having 2 lands in your opening 8 cards I guess I need to ask. Later games it could give you +1/+1 counters for Ravager/Inkmoth or whatever I suppose. Not useless, but then again not near optimal enough. Just a thought.

With the normal sixteen or seventeen land builds, the odds are a little better than even that there will be two lands in the first eight cards. The odds of two lands and one of X copies of Enter the Unknown will be much lower, probably approaching Magic-Christmas territory.
Of course, double-Mox Opal starts can do the same sort of thing, so adding Enter the Unknown gives a few more possible broken starts but the card isn't an artifact and something has to be cut for it. It is also super-low impact after the first turn so I don't think it is even worth testing but if you have the time, give it a go and report your findings.
I've owned Affinity for over 2 years now, but recently played in my 2nd tournament ever with the deck (I only play tested it at home and one SCG Game Night, where I faced the mirror twice and went 2-1 overall). Tuesday Night Magic - 8 players.
Round 1 vs. BW Tokens. Not the best player or the best deck, but I felt it had a solid chance vs. Affinity. I was actually hoping to get paired against the E Tron guy, Merfolk guy, or Grishoalbrand guy (since I played it enough to know that Affinity is favored). He played turn 1 Auriok Champion. He ended up playing 3 Spectral Procession this game, but I had Ornithopter, Cranial Plating, then Master of Etherium, and Arcbound Ravager. I got there, although there's many things he could have done better. I just didn't want to think about it. In the next game, I get a turn 2 Etched Champion, then turn 3 Cranial Plating and this kills him. Because he gained a lot of life from Auriok Champion again, he had me down to 4 when I won. 2-0.
Round 2 vs. GDS. Not much to say here. He was constrained on mana and even with 2 Fatal Push, I got there pretty quickly after the stumble. In the next game, he stopped on 2 mana and had 2 Anger of the Gods in hand. Odd thing he may not have realized though was that 3 of my lands were manlands and I had Cranial Plating, so Anger does not put him out of the woodwork. 2-0.
Round 3 vs. Abzan Company. Quick hand gets me there in game 1. In game 2, my hand is inoperable becaause I need a land or 1 more low cost artifact. Instead of playing Signal Pest turn 1, I play Spire of Industry and Mox Opal so I can Spell Pierce Stony Silence if it comes up. It does. When he turn 3 goes for CoCo and gets Kitchen Finks and Qasali Pridemage, I kill the Pridemage because it will set me back too far. He untaps and casts Vizier of Remedies and Viscera Seer and goes to 1 billion life. In the last game, I have a nut hand with Etched Champion and I draw CRANIAL PLATING. Luuuuuck sack! On his turn 3 facing lethal, he has Devoted Druid and goes for Chord of Calling for 2 (infinite mana). My last card is Stubborn Denial and I have 1 creature and a Springleaf Drum to cast it. Better to be lucky than good, right? 2-1
Round 4 vs. Abzan Midrange. My homie. He is 2-1. I should have scooped to him to get better prizes for both of us, but I'm not thinking. Also the employees and the Abzan CoCo player are kind of watching too. I cast too many things for him to deal with on time and I get there pretty easily. I should have scooped though and I am going to apologize later and give half of my store credit. Essentially instead of just me on $25 store credit, it could have been me or him on $25 and the other on $15. Stupid. 2-0.
I go 4-0. Should have been 3-1, but the deck is insane! That's all I can say. Three opponents had Stony Silence in their board and sided them in. Only saw 1.

You’re playing E Witness in your affinity list?? Or just making a pun lol
Stupid me. For some reason, my brain did that match report from play testing Abzan Company against his Abzan Midrange, I think because I played against those 2 in a row. I was testing my Abzan Company against his Abzan Midrange before the tournament, as I usually bring around 4-5 decks. I did more play testing than actual matches during the tournament.
I corrected it now.

Canonist falls victim to the bolts and shattering sprees they already bring in, id go rule of law first. But even that isn’t enough to make it a sure thing, because it slows you down a ton too which gives them time to find a bounce spell

After going to FNM and losing to UR Storm 2 times in a row, I was wondering what I can put in the sideboard or any tips to beat them?
Slowing them down with some pierces works sometimes. As other said, Rest in Peace and Rule of Law are really good here. Keep your Blasts, they are valuable.
Is Welding Jar bugged on MTGO? Anyone noticed? Three times now I've clicked it once, and it sacrifices itself to itself in the first click. So aggravating.

Not a streamer but Zyrnak on YouTube has like 12 leagues of affinity recorded, he’s played the deck to a couple big finishes and will be playing Affinity at the pro tour I believe.
Extremely tight play in most videos, he talks through possible outs for him and opponent, all that. It took me a few days to finish them all but very great videos.
He’s the guy who posted on Reddit about his 1,200 match data, and posted the spreadsheet with the findings after 1,200 matches. To find that search the Reddit affinity page and it should be at the top pinned
