As a former affinity player that has gone to RUG twin, I board out the entire combo barring one pestermite and one twin. I wouldn't not advise playing around the combo against grixis and RUG. Maybe UR twin is going all in on the combo, but I think the 3 color variants have different plans.
Yes, you still need the acceleration; your fundamental mana cost is 2-3, and you want that on turn one as often as possible. If better acceleration were available it would be run (along side Lodestone Golem).

So ive taken this list to two consecutive 4-0's at my lgs. I'm starting to believe this is the best affinity list I have made to this point. The sideboard however could be improved
I find that im often missing colored mana, and its nice to reliably have the colored mana to cast key sideboard cards like thoughseize immediatly. I also like how city doesnt die to a hurkyls like glimmervoid does. Inkmoth just seems like the best one to cut a copy of since it hits them outside of life total alternate to the rest of the deck. Do you think the one city of brass is a terrible idea? Should it just be glimmervoid. I do hate seeing it in the burn matchup
I get your point but I have to disagree with a glimmer kid against burn. I think that shocking yourself for 1 against burn is a lot more dangerous then playing an glimmervoid.
I always play 4 inkmoth and it won me more games then having not enough colored mana to play my spells.
Also one question. How many colored spells do you play main deck?

With a colorless version, would there be an argument for swapping out mutha vault for contested war zone (or split) or maybe even sideboard the tomb of the spirit dragon vs burn decks? I love the idea of a colorless brew. And are ghostfire blades no good at the moment?
I'm thinking of adding Ensoul artifact into my Affinity brew, I put in one during my last morden turniment and it appered to work really well. Not sure what to take out or how many too put in, would you guys mind helping me out? I'd appericate any help.

Ensoul Artifact will win games that one would otherwise lose and it will also result in the occasional two-for-one. I played three for a while and it won some games for me. It's very nice to be able to play it when one is looking at a Stony Silence, or before Stony lands.
Affinity do not run fetches at all. we do not have slots for it? what is your purpose of doing so? I see no reason for doing so. and if you really have a good reason to put it in, what would you take out?
Just learnt something from a judge with regards to modular with boardwipe. In the past I thought I could response to boardwipe sacrifice all related permenant to ravager and upon spell resolution animate a manland to receive the modular on the stack. The move is not legal it require me to have a legal target when the boardwipe resolve. There is no window to animate the land as there is no legal target, therefore the modular fizzle. However this move is legal against oblivion stone as it can't destroy land and legal in living end as when the whole spell resolve, there is a legal target.

In your list, Ghostfire Blade is the first thing I'd swap, then a Steel Overseer, if I wanted three.
