@Michael David black, ya, I relook into my sideboard and took out illness in the rank and 1 thoughtseize and add in 2 spell pierce. As for not bringing wear//tear against twin, I don't agree, because twin will also bought in spellskite to redirect our removal and modular, therefore, I will still board it in.
-3 steel overseer
-1 signal pest
+1 etched champion
+1 spellskite
+1 torpor orb
+1 wear//tear
If you are planning on throwing a removal spell at Spellskite, Galvanic Blast would've done the same thing anyway. Wear//Tear is the most narrow card you're bringing in, and fusing it is way too circumstantial to even justify siding it in. I'm curious as to why you don't side in Thoughtseize. It's a lot more useful than Wear//Tear.
Thoughtseize is nice, however, I realised that twin often hesitate to combo of when I have a card in hand. Thoughtseize is more proactive but also make you more predicable. Wear//tear can also deal with batterskull if they ever bring it in. It might seems narrow but I ever did use it to stop twin combo off. Also against UWR twin, I am concerned about the possibility of stony silence. Some version bring in blood moon against our manland, therefore I find it reasonable to board in 1 of wear//tear.
Day's Undoing seems really intriguing. I have no idea how good it is but it's certainly worth considering. It seems to be competing with Thoughtcast in the deck. What does everyone think? I plan on trying 1 copy MB as soon as I can.

It's interesting but it doesn't look like a card we would want to run in more than 2 copies.
But actually it is better in Burn. Are we going to see Burn decks with blue?
I doubt Burn would splash U for it since you have to Time Walk yourself, and it's nowhere near as powerful as Treasure Cruise. That being said, it looks like a very metagame dependent card in general. In the Burn, Infect, and mirror matches, you don't want to cast it at all. But if you get to untap on your next turn, you pretty much win the game.
I initially thought of burn for Day's Undoing but was quickly won around to it being an Affinity card (of course, it's at least as good in burn as Treasure Cruise was)
Affinity has the incidental blue mana to cast it, and can use the hand reset more than any other deck in the format.
Cranial Plating is your best card in Affinity. This digs 7 cards towards a Plating, AND gives you more 0-1 mana artifacts to abuse it with.
This is the first card since Treasure Cruise that I've looked at and thought "this is a banning candidate in multiple formats", and Modern is one of those formats. Until that happens, it will be at least a 3 of in Affinity.
I'm telling you guys, that card in Burn is undoubtably very good. In my opinion, even better than in Affinity, but this is just my opinion. But there's no doubt it makes sense to play it in Burn. This evening a new card suddenly appeared in MagicCardMarket.eu top ten most sold cards of the week, Quicken. This could be connected with Day's Undoing. But I'm going off topic now so I'll stop.
People usually get hyped over spoiled cards and overreact, which is understandable. After my initial reaction, I gave it some thought, and posted this on r/ModernMagic:
"I for one, think this card is a trap for most decks and/or metas. There are match ups where you never want to cast Days Undoing. Affinity, Burn, and Infect will dump their hands and straight up kill you before you get to untap and cast your freshly gained 7 cards. Twin will just flash in Exarch, and hope to draw a Splinter Twin with their 7. The only deck that can take advantage of this card to the fullest is Taking Turns.
Days Undoing is more like an EDH card. Quicken, Vedalken Orrery, Leyline of Anticipation, and Notion Thief are tricks that are much more easily executed in EDH than in Modern."
Has anyone yet playtested DU ?
I have just come to sample hand/draw about 30 openers, mind-gaming the first 2-3 turns and have to say this looks more than amazing!

The great Eldrazi Overlords will return to the Modern World.
It may just be hype, but I personally like the card for affinity. I've seen a lot of posts about people saying "Why would you want to play this so they can draw their hate cards?". It goes both ways, "What if they had the hate card in the hand you made them get rid of?" Or they had an "I win" hand?
ESPECIALLY on turn 3. They've had a gameplan, they knew what lands and spells to play - now maybe they don't have a serviceable hand. You just never know, but I think it can go either way. Depends on how good your new hand is and depends on how good their new hand is.
Just keep in Mind: If you have played more cards than your opponent when you resolve DU => you got card advantage.
Since affinity dumps their hand by turn 2-3, DU seems like the perfect follow-up.
Also it helps you then dig for the relevant finishers like Cranial Plating.
Also, who cares if they draw into hate? You have a new hand of 7, and you are faster. Most affinity games, when they find their hate, they are allready close to death, so you then going in with another 7 will most likely close the deal.

Absolutely. Trust me, I'm on the side of this being an awesome card lol. I also don't want to get my hopes up in case it really isn't all that great and/or it gets banned.
I saw someone come up with this idea for an opening nut hand with Day's Undoing; it was posting in the spoiler's discussion page, but I thought it should be brought up here.
What is you guy's take on this type of hand?

I think it might be worth it as a sideboard card, I'd probably only bring it in when I'm on the play against decks that aren't nearly as fast as we are
First turn Day's Undoing will simply amazing. Turn-two Day's Undoing will be very good. Few other Modern decks can dump their cards fast enough to get the same benefit. It seems well worth a try.
It's much less exciting as a top-deck and much less exciting on the draw and one might well side-board it out after the first turn; one doesn't necessarily want to help one's opponent dig for the hate they brought in.
It reminds me of the old days when one could drop most of one's hand turn-one and finish with Timetwister and a big grin!

That's an awful 7, even if it is a turn 1 Days Undoing. There are no bombs in that hand. Your are essentially blindly mulliganing, and can wiff on drawing a bomb. Which is a very real possibility.
Edit: Whoever said this was a god hand is grossly mistaken. If you replace Days Undoing with Cranial Plating or Arcound Ravager, you can threaten a turn 3 kill with Inkmoth Nexus, instead of fooling around by drawing cards. Now, that's what I call a god hand.
Hey I was wondering if anyone could give me some help with my affinity sideboard. My local game store allows 40 proxies in the deck so I have been switching out cards in the sideboard to fit our meta. Now that I have finished my main board deck I need to move on to sideboard. I was hoping that yall could give me your advice on what my 15 should be. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly helpful to me. Here is my current main board list
Your list have error. Second, sideboard depends on meta, there isn't a quick fix. You can go through the last few pages and see what are the common sideboard choices. Also we need to know your meta to advise the best sideboard cards for you.
