Voracious Wurm is cute, but I think it's just a not as good Pridemate, who I already get annoyed with more often than not. Splashing green only makes sense to me if you want Essence Warden, but I think pushing the Sister count higher than 9 or 10 is already taking it too far.
Splashing green makes sense for something like Tarmogoyf which will probably always be bigger anyway. Except for that rare case when you live the dream and Martyr for 15. But Tarmogoyf will always be solid no matter what other "combo" pieces you may or may not draw. Or just after a board wipe.
((I can't get the search function to work for some reason .... so I apologize up front if I'm missing something))
Has there been discussion on a singleton Mikaeus, the Lunarch? Fetchable with Ranger, can become a big threat by himself, or another Honor of the Pure powering up the little guys. Sort of like what Steel Overseer is to Affinity.

We don't purposefully put things in the graveyard enough to even think about running Tarmogoyf. Something tells me that if you end up splashing green in a Soul Sisters build for Goyf, you're just going to eventually build Zoo. Goyf is good in a completely different deck.
Working on a budget-y Soul Sisters to take to shops and whatnot. Looking to fill a couple spots or take advice on what is already here. Been testing it a bit and it works fairly well with what I've been switching in and out of it but doesn't feel done yet.
I've been dropping a couple Auriok Champions in now and then with mixed results. They're mostly not needed in the games I play so I ended up cutting them. The creature base at first looks a bit greedy in a way but I've had no problems with it really. Mostly concerned with what to do with mana base. I've seen a wealth of advice on running Flagstones of Trokair to try and thin the deck or Ghost Quarter for obvious reasons. As for spells people have been scorning me for not using Proclamation of Rebirth but I think it's too situational if you're ahead, which is fairly often. Also wondering about opinions on adding in Kitchen Finks. This is basically just a beefier version of the Soul Sisters Shell. Good fun but needs worked on.
If you want a token engine, Militia's Pride and that new Spirit token generator do it fairly well.
I would not run a card that does both badly. I wouldn't run any of the cards I mentioned in this post in most cases, but they do what this new card does a lot better. Paying three mana for one token is just too much, even if it does slowly grow the creature in question.
Too expensive. I can think of other things to cast with 3 mana.
It doesn't replace hawks since they refill your hand for Matyr, or just to play a flyer that is hard to block, or needing cards for to sack for discard.
Everything triggers Souls. The only creature somewhat replaceable is "hawks" since some versions run without em, but those run Archangel of Thune which is a much much better and win condition card.
The three cards that are notably absent from your list, and also cheap to acquire, are: martyr of sands (helps turn on ascendant, occasionally turn 2) squadron hawk (card advantage and fills your hand back up for martyr, plus fliers are always nice) honor of the pure (should be fairly obvious, but it'll help you be less reliant on archangel of thune).
I was thinking of cutting Archangel of Thune down to 2 but I have yet to be punished by running 4 so I hadn't yet. I mostly get lucky and drop one under windbrisk and end up Spectral Processioning then triggering it next turn. Mainly wanted the deck to be less about throwing everything in their face and more about dropping a board full of heavy threats in 1-2 turns to the point that if they don't have sweepers then they lose the turn after. One of those "When it works, WOW" type things. I'll keep testing.
I decided not to run Martyr because any deck that has ANY sort of removal knows exactly what's going to happen so they immediately kill it. I've triggered it maybe twice in the time I've played the deck.
Squadron Hawk I had in originally with Martyr but again rarely ever got the Martyr to go off.
If you drop her then you are pretty much running the generic Soul Sisters that has been around for years. It's actually cheaper than your version if you want even more budget. However, I truly believe when played right the Thune version is stronger because more times then not we are forced to play into mid and late game and Archangel of Thune sets you up better in mid-game to win.
I believe it makes Soul Sisters even better. I run Soul Sisters in Modern with good results, but I've been testing Archangel and my overall game has gotten better. In order to run it, you will need to up your mana base to 24 because you can't always depend on Windbrisk Heights cheating her in.
Add 4 mana and quite honestly i'd still add 2x Auriok Champion. I'm shocked she doesn't come in handy..you mean to tell me you don't run against any decks with red removal? If you don't want to run her then add 2 Honor of the Pure maybe?
Thune is a game changer when she comes in, especially through Heights. You almost always win when she hits if you have a sister and at least a couple tokens, which quite frankly is easy for Soul Sisters to do.
He did run it but Thune has been used plenty when M14 first printed.
He does use Horizon Canopy though, which is interesting. I get why he uses it but I still don't believe they'll come in handy in the long run. I find myself using Ghost Quarter almost every match.
I prefer 18 Plains, 4 Windbrisk Heights, 2 Ghost Quarter.
Hello everyone, I'm kinda new to this forums. I'm a fan of the sisters and I'm brewing my own version, which I share to you in order to get some feedback:
11 Sisters is definitely overkill. You'll wish that card was something different later in the game.
Hero of Bladehold is a great card, but me personally I like it as a sideboard. It's relatively slow and does nothing right when it enters compared to say Ranger of Eos which allows you to fetch and thin your deck.
I see you aren't running Hawks which help a mid game Martyr go off, but Hawks are cut table. One set I would add back are Spectral Procession. I would personally never cut these. You'll discover with Soul Sisters sometimes you win on Honor of the Pure and Spectral alone.
So me personally with this list if you want to keep Auriok Champion
-1 Auriok Champion
-1 Soul Warden
-1 Soul's Attendant
-2 Hero of Bladehold (to sideboard)
+4 Spectral Procession
+1 Ranger of Eos
You can play with any combo of sisters removed, I was just giving an example.
If you are topping out at a 4 mana curve, you can cut one land. Looks like you can cut something like a Plain or two and add a Windbrisk Height to 3x
See played another few games with all 4 Archangels in. Cast one, resolved. Had another under windbrisk, attacked with tokens and sisters, second one dropped, they used removal, drop Brave the Elements, they scoop. I agree getting one or two to the field pretty much ends the game unless they have an abundance of removal. But with 2-3 sisters on the field and dropping Spectral procession right after Archangel is a thing of beauty.
I decided not to run Martyr because any deck that has ANY sort of removal knows exactly what's going to happen so they immediately kill it. I've triggered it maybe twice in the time I've played the deck.
I don't understand how this is possible. Unless you're playing martyr without open mana (which is a serious n00b play error) they can't stop you unless they're running trickbind or squelch, which is basically nobody.
I mean, I realize that playing a turn 1 ascendant into turn 2 martyr is a very risky play, and that's why I almost never go for it.
Regardless, if you're skipping martyr and going for 4x archangel (which would be a different but possibly equally viable deck) I would go to 23-24 lands for sure. I'd also very, very seriously consider the black splash for lingering souls and vault of the archangel. Tokens are amazeballs with archangel as I'm sure you know, and vault makes this deck unbeatable late game by anything that lacks sweepers.

I don't see it. How does a growing beater you have to pay into help this deck? Paying three mana for one token isn't much to get excited about.
So far I've got:
4 Serra Ascendant
4 Soul Warden
4 Soul's Attendant
4 Ajani's Pridemate
4 Ranger of Eos
4 Archangel of Thune
4 Spectral Procession
4 Path to Exile
2 Brave the Elements
16 Plains
4 Windbrisk Heights

I agree with you that you have no reason for proclamation of rebirth.
Kitchen finks is way too slow.

20 lands is a little low. I personally run 22

Honor of the Pure may as well take a couple of my last spots.
And yes I figured I'd go to 22 lands, cutting a couple plains and adding in 4 Flagstones of Trokair. Minor thinning might be good.

4x Honor of the Pure
Creature (27)
4x Ajani's Pridemate
3x Auriok Champion
2x Hero of Bladehold
4x Martyr of Sands
2x Ranger of Eos
4x Serra Ascendant
4x Soul Warden
4x Soul's Attendant
2x Cavern of Souls
4x Flagstones of Trokair
2x Ghost Quarter
12x Plains
2x Windbrisk Heights
Instant (7)
3x Brave the Elements
4x Path to Exile
3x Leyline of Sanctity
2x Rest in Peace
2x Ghostway
2x Runed Halo
3x Stony Silence
2x Suppression Field
1x Worship
I'm thinking about dropping to maybe 8/9 sisters and going for Aven Mindcensor or Æther Vial.
