I have found that chalice gives a lot of decks a very hard time. CotV on 1 basically wins you the game versus delver and boggles. If you can land a second chalice on 2, the have no threats they can play at all. Same thing with small Zoo and burn. I run 3 Chalice in my main deck and 1 in the board.

I dont use my english sice 2010, so sorry for the mistakes.
Today i played a local modern and i made 4-0. the meta is burn, ur delver, splinter twin, junk, jund, but have some pods ,agrro and afinitis too.
First was Splinter Twin. Game 1 I chalice for 2 and that was enough to slow him down (swruns visions, spell snare, thoug scultor) for me hold his combo and gain the game later beating with Wurmcoil. Second match was the same, chalice hold und my dismembers took care of exarc und pestermite. 2-0
Second was GRW Agro. Pretty hard with loxodont smiter on 3 und turn 4 Trhun in game, but after my chalice on 1 (protect against path) and my wurmcoil backup in the game with 4 life and i won latter with Plat Angel. The other match i bounced his atacking with aetherize on turn 4, played batter skull on turn 5, wurmcoil next turn and another wurmcoil on the other next. 2-0
Third Burn. That Match was very fast since i played chalice on turn 2 for 1 counter, and turn 4 another for 2 counters, he just took the deck cause he had just 1 and 2 CMC. The other game was the same. Bouth games took about 10 min. 2-0
Last was UR Delver. Match 1 i had chalice for 1 counter on turn 2, but he had already casted Young Piromancer and other turns used his 1 spells just to make tokens and i couldnt hold him. Next was difilcult but with some side (aetherize, snapcaster, negate, dismember) and a late chalice for 1 I controled the game and won. Last match he played Young Pyro on 2 again, but i had dismember to took him off end of his turn, my turn chalice on 1, after he played another pyro, my turn 3 i passed uns repeled his pyro in his atack fase after he maded 2 tokens casting spells,my turn 4 i chalice on 2 counters, that was enough to him conced. 2-1
Chalice has been great for me, I've had quite a number of Burn and Delver decks scoop after seeing a Chalice of the Void on 1 since it stops just about half their deck if they have no artifact removal, especially in Game 1. I think I can definitely say the same for Infect, since CotV X=1 stops most, if not all their pump spells such as Groundswell, Might of Old Krosa, Mutagenic Growth, Vines of Vastwood. You could add in Spellskite to shut down their plans to pump and kill you in one attack with the redirect ability. I personally maindeck it (haven't seen someone else do so, I don't find any reason not to) since it's a great early game blocker most of the time and the ability is just so useful.
Well, I guess it's time then for me to try find some Chalices to test out then. Also, the 'Skite does seem useful now that I think about, at least to stall out Infect a bit. Just out of curiosity, how may Spellskite do you run?
I personally run just 2 Spellskite main, none in sideboard. I almost never side it out between games anyway since it serves as protection for my threats or Platinum Angel too.
I have a question about Talisman. I have played the deck around 50 times so far, and I never want to cast Talisman. I always feel it is waste of mana and tempo and wish it was something else. Is there any thing else we could replace it with? I have debated taking one out for another island, and a Coalition Relic, but I feel that runs into the same problems as the Talisman. Maybe replace both with Spellskite. Thoughts?

Definitely replace talisman. As long as you run enough lands (I run 25), you have no problem with blue sources almost all the time. Would suggest replacing both with Spellskite.
I am doing the same thing as cbgirardo, and I am running 10 blue sources. I have had problems finding a blue source from time to time, but less than the amount that I have had when I was running Talismans. My suggestion is to increase the amount of blue sources to 9 or 10. I am currently running 9 Islands and 1 Oboro to filter, which is good enough to support my Dig Through Times whenever needed. I would rather play lands than mana rocks since I am also running two Oblivion Stone as well.
On my 10 blue lands and 4 Maps I haven't had much of an issue.
Mathematically, 74.14 percent of starting 7 card hands will have at least 1 blue source, and 6.44 percent of 7 card hands will have 1 blue source as the only land. That means more than two thirds of our 7 card hands will have a blue source and another land.
I personally like 11 blue sources, that's what I've been running for a long time. I'd rather run more blue sources over Urborg even, since I think access to more blue (the first blue in openers or second blue later) is more relevant than sometimes saving some live from dismember. That's just me though.
I also run Mouth of Ronom now as a 26th land/spell. It's been actually pretty helpful, especially on the games that go long.
My mana base is currently pretty cookie cutter, but I still find the Talisman's worth keeping. I am currently running the 12 Tron (obviously), 8 Island, 1 Academy Ruins, 1 Tectonic Edge, 1 Ghost Quarter (I just feel I need more md land control in my area), 1 Oboro, with 4 Map and 3 Talisman. Your mileage may vary, but I find that I can consistently hit the blue sources that I require.
Edit: That totals 24 lands, of which 9 produce blue, and 4 map/3 talisman.
I have yet to pick up some Dig Through Time but am excited to play with them. I am also pretty hyped for Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, it seems tailor made for this deck.
What do you guys think about cutting Oblivion Stone for Ugin, the Spirit Dragon? I almost never seem to cast O-Stone without having a total of eight mana in fear of Abrupt Decay and artifact hate. O-Stone is also vulnerable to Stony Silence too. I'm really not sure whether cutting O-Stone for Ugin would be a decent choice considering the above reasons.
What about cutting Snapcaster for Dig Through Time or Ugin? Really conflicted about this one.
I really think cutting Cyclonic Rift for Ugin is the right choice (do correct me if I'm wrong). Cyclonic Rift would be most useful when overloaded, and I think using one more mana to exile their board is way better since the wipe hits nearly none of our permanents (aside from the occasional Treasure Mage or Snapcaster Mage).
I'm considering on whether there should be a mix of Digs and Ugin. I could go all out 2 Ugin or 2 Dig, or 1 of each. Any thoughts on this? Having no Digs seem to make it pretty hard to filter through the library for stuff like Ugin with only Thirst for Knowledge as decent card draw.
finally was 49 persons tournament, get 2 wins, 3 tied, 1 lose, i went to turns every single round, was very frustating
i have some troubles getting tron online, those games or lose it or last many time to take turns
2 chalice of the void maindecked was awesome vs some games and very bad against others

Games i win was because i have very advantange over my opponent
the one game i lose was vs a very very good player that wins tournament i cant do a thing whit that
games i tied was i get tron online and win 1 game, then second game dont get tron and lose, and 3er game always get into turns due to time
i feel the deck has some troubles getting tron online, and for that i lose all those games ... whats happend to this deck?
