Yeah, there is still just so much creature kill right now that I wonder if I'd be better served with the draw power and the mana ramp power. I have the extra Stormbreath and I'll be ordering the Chandra.
The Chandra isn't a creature itself however it gives me another strong turn 3 play off of Mind Stone and she can immediately disrupt the board by blowing up a power 4 or less creature.
It's a hard call. i'll have to meditate on it for awhile.
True. And again, maybe I'm just too hyped still over Heart, but the best play I feel this deck can make is Chandra +ing 2 mana into Heart on defense. It feels so good every time.
I want to love it, but so far it isn't doing a whole lot, unfortunately. T2 Heart, T3 Scourge (swing for 4), T4 Koth, plus, crew with loyalty (swing for 11) is a potentially amazing line, but it feels like Christmas land.
It feels like a dead card at least half the time, if not more. Out of maybe 10ish matches with it, it won me the game once, ate removal 2-3 times on activation, and the rest of the time sat there or wasn't worth casting.
Curious how many you guys would use and what to surround it with. I've been testing with 2 Hearts, 4 Koth, 3 Chandra.
If it eats removal, I think it's doing it's job. I have come from behind so many games because of this card that I cannot understate its value. I made a post previously about all the cards that activate it. It's great on both offence and defense. It can come down T2 or T4 and has value. I keep praising it and feel under appreciated, but I haven't heard a convincing argument against it so far. I would suggest trying out the deck I posted above for a sig number of T1/2 matches and report back. I really do feel, after teasing many variants of this deck, that it should be a staple of any build. I'm really convinced of it. This archetype hinges on early control shifting into aggro when it is well positioned. I would argue that there is no better card at doing this than Heart of Kiran. It has been such a game change for me in testing. I cannot overstate this enough.
0-2 Against Infect
2-0 against Atarka Burn (inexperianced player)
2-0 against Lantern Control
2-0 against RW Burn
Eternal Scourge is the Real Deal if you can hold off and have the mana to cast from exile. Also Gearhulk helped me every time i cast him. I cast him for his damage and being a 6/6 so if they choose to let me draw even better.
I'm going to 150 player tourney and I am on skred. I am expecting some control, valakut decks, Tron, BGX, Burn and Merfolk as this has been the field before at this event. Here is my decklist please add in any suggestions you all think are worth it.

Main board looks fine, however if you expect to see a lot of fish I'd find room for a second sPell bomb. And if tron is heavy I'd drop the trap, roast, and 1 crumble for 3 rabblemasters.
I had the funniest game against bant Eldrazi.
Turn 1: I play mountain and pass. He ancient stirrings for a temple.
Turn 2: I play mindstone and pass. He plays temple and plays reshaper.
Turn 3: I play blood moon. He plays second temple, attacks and passes. He can't play anything in his hand b.c no colorless mana.
Turn 4: I play my 4th mountain into koth, -2 into chandra, +1 and tap mindstone into anger.
Guy picks up his deck packs up and walks out!!!
I couldn't stop laughing.
I had three rabblemasters in the board originally but removed them once I took simians out of the main. My tron plan is land hate all the way. Maybe drop a claw and a trap for two rabbles?
I personally don't think skred beats a turn 3 karn ever so I am not gonna worry about that situation if it happens I lose and move on.
Overall, I'm 35 wins, 17 losses this week for a 67% win rate. 1821 Constructed Rating, only playing Competitive Leagues, dropping as soon as I hit 3 losses.
Not sure if this is the place, but I wanna show off/brag a little
0.0 you beat me to it. I only need 2 blood moons, koths and scrying sheets!
In all seriousness. I need help with bant eldrazi. I've only played the deck 3 times ever I won 2 and lost 1. it seems favorable but the last guy walked in wrecked me and walked out without even discussing strat.
Bant Eldrazi gets way better if you run Roast. It's one of the few early game answers to Reality Smasher. Maybe Roast is just one if my pet cards, because it feels so good killing the big stuff early.
Also, why are you running Sowing Salt and not Crumble to Dust? Isn't Dust just strictly better?

Flavor, plus I couldn't find the crumbles in my collection.
I'm prepping for a big tournament on sunday, but have a bit hard time picking cards against the meta. My friends and I know a lot of the good local players so we have a hunch of what to expect, and it seems to be a LOT of G/x Tron, Breach, some Grixis, and the usual bunch of affinity, burn/zoo, infect.
I'm wondering if Pyroclasm would be the best sweeper for the small stuff, which tempts me to go all classical with Reckoner. And for the bigger lists I've tested a lot and noticed I often go hellbent, and I'll probably need Stormbreaths to have better topdecks for the finish before they recover. I'm currently looking at something like this:
This is a huge difference from what I've been running lately, but I'm trying to metagame for once. I figured Reckoner might do the same works against titan and stompy decks as Bridge (not as good but Reckoner got more flexibility), and P&K hasn't performed well lately because it's a bit too slow against the proactive decks. Still king with Mind Stone tho, but I'm not digging those.
Hope someone with better knowledge of this kind of list can give some feedback!

I'm of the thought that reckoner is pretty well positioned right now myself.
I just meant that ES beats karn in the fact that if he targets him, ES exiles and then we can cast again. etc, If karn ultimates, we can still cast the ES from exile. Obviously they now become under his control, but any removal we use puts him back in exile that we can then cast. Its actually pretty funny for us, especially if we draw an anger of the gods, they exile also. Karns not nearly as bad as a wormcoil.

How exactly? scourge hits for 3 Karn +4 each turn, it slows down karn sure but it doesn't effectively deal with the big boy.
