Been playing this deck on mtgo, pretty stock list except I'm main boarding 4 bolts and 2 anger of the gods, 2 summoner pacts, and 2 Prismatic Omens. Main boarding Anger/bolt is really shoring up my aggro matches by a lot. Pretty brutal stuff having the disruption and fogs while ramping up
I'm having some difficulty against permission decks though, how do you guys go about fighting Jeskai, UW, and Grixis?
When you guys aren't boarding out the Expeditions and removal, whats the next thing you guys cut? Explores/Farseeks? Some matchups I feel like I'm overboarding. Obviously it's super easy when you either just board out removal or Expeditions, but it does have me wondering at times.
Ghost Empire, Thien Nyugen said the Expeditions are the best ramp spells in the deck, why board them out?

Wondering if I should board in boils
I am quite new to the deck too and would like to know how people usually board? (When) Do you take out Prismatic Omen?
Also Mulligans. When do you mull hands with lands and ramp but no win condition? (Guess against all decks that can kill you quickly, except if you have disruption?)
What is the correct number of Fetchlands aside from 4 Wooded Foothills?? If not running Khalni Heart Expedition, do we even need more than 4? I ask because some people are running X copies of Cinder Glade and Stomping Grounds but some are running the full 4/4, I know having more dual mountains is best for the deck, but I wonder what would a correct manabase be? 4, 5, 6 fetchlands? More mointains? I'm going to try this deck and nobody has talked about the rationale behind the number of mountains/fetchlands. Thanks guys!

I play with six fetchlands in my build (4x wooded 2x windswept) and i like that amount with the four exeditions. i also play courser of kruphix and i find that having access to fetchlands help make courser a better card in the deck.
As for wondering how to mulligan with this deck i have noticed some trends.
Lands+ramp without wincon is good to keep. wincon+lands without ramp is bad.
i have mulled down to five on the play and still won. this deck is very good at playing wincons off the top if you have the lands to play them.

Phew, thats a lot to board in. Ive been debating on the chalice, it is hysterical casting that on 1 and seeing a quarter shut down. That answers that, but what to board out then? -4 Khalni Heart Expeditions. -1 Explore -1 Farseek
Also, how crucial is prismatic omen really? Is this a win more card or is it brutally good against the slower decks? I'm debating on cutting it and putting it on for either 2 angers or 2 relics, or 2 more ramp spells
Prismatic Omen has been a card that wins me games all by itself. With there seeming to be an uptick in control, the slow grindy games will be more common than before. Omen will allow us to bolt them a good amount of time.

Been steamrolling on mtgo with this deck. I find it hysterical that people will keep crappy hands if it has leyline of the void. Pretty shocked when I had a Junk player bust it out game 2. Game 3 he mulled to 5 and just left the lobby, people keep mulling hoping for leyline. It happens too often. I understand maybe mulling aggressively once, but thats it
Seriously, this deck is criminally underplayed, it's got some serious raw power with sideboard stuff to shore up the aggro
Tried Chalice of the Void against Tron, didn't like it, would rather put a big Inferno Titan over it
RG Tron seriously sucks now without eye, they have 1 or 2 threats in hand and then kinda durdle if they don't find a stirrings or creature/planswalker
I'm impressed with this deck, I don't know if it's because the deck thins itself out very fast, but I find myself topdecking the Scapeshift/Titan/Omen all the time, too much to just be lucky. The deck really cycles fast. I never expected to have this much fun with a goldfish/solitaire deck
Hey ghost, experimenting with your 4 farseeks in place of Khalni hearts and 4 chalices in the sideboard
What I really want to ask you is what matchups you're bringing the chalice in against, and what you're sideboarding out in addition to when we need to squeeze important cards like anger into the mix

Hey bud! Hope I'm not misinterpreting your points but here goes.
I personally like Chalices on 1 vs. Storm/Ad Nauseaum, and to some degree Infect. Burn is certainly a thing too.
I've ran into a lot less creature deck (online) in the past few days so the Pyroclasms in the main might be changed to something else.
I haven't quite decided yet.
The deck doesn't beat that, in fact, most decks don't. Goryos decks aren't consistent enough, but it's definitely been advocated by pros to be banned
Outside of having a very situational card, most decks aren't going to win the scenario you just gave
Yeah, we need some luck to deal with it. I won the last time I played against Goryo's, but he failed the combo in the first game, then, in the second, he kept a slow hand and I burned him when he was trying to combo, I had a Valakut online in play and a Khalni Heart Expedition with 3 counters, when he started the combo, I cracked it and shoot a bolt into his face, then he tried to use a Shoal, and a second Bolt in response of it sealed the game. I guess Sudden Shock is great too, but Goryo's need to be slower then us, hard to happen, but still a shot.
checkout how aggressive the new modern format is. i think a few courser of cruphix may be a good thing in this new modern world.
How bad do you guys think we need spellskite in the our SB? what about grave hate? i don't think we need to worry about it to much in the coming months, but maybe we do.
I also see that U decks did not do well. How do you all feel about running a one of Fog in the SB?

tbh, this is no surprise. Fast and aggressive decks are always the best choice in the first few weeks after unbannings on the scale of Sword and Visions. I would say let's wait until there have been a few bigger Modern tournaments and then we'll see. I am going to stick with Nguyen's PT list which is perfectly capable of takig on an aggressive Meta.

Yikes. The only thing worse than a sexless marriage is a stale metagame at home. When that happens, it's time to sideboard a mistress or two.
