My losses have been against Abzan Company, a RG devotion/ramp combo deck that kills with Kessig Wolf Run, RU Eldrazi, a mono-Black Eldrazi, and an Infect deck (this game was lame, as I tapped my lands incorrectly while playing Explosives and only got Sunburst for 1 instead of 2 to kill his Agent). Have had some pretty stompy games against the likes of Blue Moon, RG Tron, BW Tokens, Affinity, Merfolk, Grixis Delver, and even the new UW Eldrazi deck seemed to get "outvalued".
Currently 4-2 altogether against Eldrazi decks, which isn't bad. Myr Superion does work against Reality Smasher, and the 3rd Roots definitely has paid off HUGE against all the aggro I've been facing - 5 toughness is pretty clutch. I play Graven Cairns so I can have the option of getting Black mana for Dismember, Shriekmaw, and soon to be Big Game Hunter whenever I find him. Gavony Township has mostly been a tester, but it has definitely won me some games. Considering dropping it just because sometimes I don't actually want to be pumping my board and instead just want to find the combo, but other times just pumping up a board of 2/2s and 1/1s into 4/4s and 3/3s over several turns is pretty good and hard for certain decks to actually beat.
Changes I will be making are as follows: -2 Courser of Kruphix, +1 Big Game Hunter ... Not sure what else to put in although something like Lone Missionary could be fine. Nobody seems to play Burn in my meta but there are definitely some Eldrazi aggro decks and a couple Affinity decks for sure. I REALLY want to test Eldrazi Displacer just as another value engine (which is also why I've been working on my manabase to include some colourless mana)... I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
Had the most ridiculous win last night. Against Cruel Control, late game. 2 Birds, 6 lands, 2 cards in hand, a million cards in the yard. Opponent has 7 lands. Casts a Serum Visions, scrys both to the top. Then plays land, Cruel Ultimatum. I think to myself for a sec...then tap out casting Chord for x=5. I get Reveillark. I sac the Lark, take 5, and discard my last card in hand - Kiki! Lark triggers, I get back Kiki and Witness, getting back Chord. Untap, Chord for Resto. GG
Went 2-1-1 last night, ended up unintentionally drawing to the Cruel Control player in R4. Beat the mirror and Wescoe's GW deck, lost to some pretty sick Suicide Zoo draws. Over my last 4 modern events the past 2 weeks, I'm 10-6-1, but against Eldrazi (a combination of UW, RG, Colorless, and Colorless w/ Tron), I'm 0-5...32 days until April 4th!
I cant get my hands on a Raging Ravine through trading and the price is out of my current financial situation. My mana is thus -1 Ravine -1 Canopy +1 Stirring Wildwood +1 Stomping ground. I am unsure on the 3rd Stomping but don't know what else to put in its place.

That's probably fine if you are using Stirring Wildwood instead of Ravine. Wildwood can also work nicely as a blocker instead of just pushing for damage with Ravine, and the cheaper cost is relevant and 3 power is fine if you just need to push with another attacker. One is playing for the win and has higher upside but Wildwood is pretty safe. No huge loss.

2 days left to prep for GP Detroit. Hoping Grafdigger's Cage is at an all time low.. I decided to put a bit of work into a board guide for the decks I expect to see, nothing is finalized yet but I've added the option to leave comments and would definitely take any input you guys have -
Unfortunately I won't be making the drive. Brilliant spreadsheet though! One thing I would add - RG Eldrazi, which I believe is the hardest flavor of Eldrazi for this archetype to deal with. Kozilek's Return is a brutal, brutal card against us. I'd make sure to bring in the 2nd Scooze against them, along with Rec Sage, Magus, and the Hero.

Thanks, I definitely have limited testing vs. the GR Version (about 4 games) and Kozilek's Return is the worst. What am I bringing in Rec sage for specifically? Mind stone?
Hey Luda. I'm far away - here's my comments on your sideboarding spreadsheet.
1.) Feels like you should play 2 stony over Kataki.
2.) Bringing in Eidolon vs. Affinity, even on the play, seems like a mistake. Even in the best case it doesn't do much. Same with vs. GR Tron. I would also not play it vs. lantern control or zoo.
3.) Spellskite should come in vs. UW eldrazi - it can redirect drowner/displacer triggers. Also, it should 100% come in vs. Scapeshift.
4.) You board out phantasmal image and board in path to exile a lot. Maybe you should switch these two from main/side? Neither of them is a silver bullet, so it seems like you may as well play the one that you want in most matchups.
1. The major drawback to the 2nd Stony over Kataki is being unable to tutor it out by Turn 3 Via either Fauna Shaman or Chord. Also in testing I've always found Kataki to be on the same level as Stony in it's ability to effect the match up. I understand that Silence offers more versatility however.
2. Eidolon has been hit or miss on the play vs. Affinity, I found it to be far better against the variants playing 2+ copies of Thoughtcast. Tron has a ton of hands where they're forced to cantrip off rocks to find relevant threats making Eidolon a better card out of the board than a number of cards in the main.
3. Noted on UW Eldrazi. Vs. BTL Scapeshift I agree, against RUG I think I'm better served pumping out threats.
4. I've noticed this as well with Eldrazi being so popular however I need the keep the MD 3CMC or less creature count at 26+. I'm heavily debating cutting it for one of the following: Voice #4, Finks #4, Myr Superion or a Lone Missionary.

Yeah, now that I think about it...Rec Sage seems unnecessary against the RG version. It has its various applications against the other decks, but Mind Stone/Talisman don't really seem that worth it, unless you REALLY want to keep them off of colorless in conjunction with Magus.
1.) Mostly, Kataki isn't terribly useful vs. lantern, while stony silence is. I guess the fact that you're running even more creature tutors (fauna shaman) could lean you towards kataki.
3.) Fair on skite, though it does mean that if you get over 24 life somehow, it's INCREDIBLY HARD TO DIE, as they have to pull out 7 mountains and 2 valakuts. You're not running crumbles in the board, so I can see why the long game vs. scapeshift doesn't appeal.
4.) I'm not as familiar with the collected company version, so I get keeping your creature count up.

I haven't decided whether or not to play in the main yet, $65 is a lot of cash to not get any prizes unless you x-2/3, and then it's only $200 top 32-64.

Realy Impressive, I am curious about the Hero... is it doing any work on your tests? I've tested it when the collorless eldrazi was a thing, and it dies to gut shot, so, I've changed to other stuff, but how's it on the meta today?
I wish I could go to the GP, but I am not from US...
I've actually been really impressed with it, but I do think it's far better suited in Coco lists.

I play B2L, so i can play him pretty fast too 8D, do you think big game hunter or hornet nest are better?
With btl, that means that you have to wait a full turn before using it, while you can bring it at the end of the opponent's turn with chord or coco. Would loyal sentry not be better for this though ?

Shriekmaw do the job
I do not want a black splash, plus chording at 5 to kill a creature does not seem that appealing...

sorry for dont be specific, i talking about B2L ("I play B2L, so i can play him pretty fast too 8D, do you think big game hunter or hornet nest are better?"), use b2l for shriekmaw is better than a BGM or Hornet.

Big Game Hunter - I don't play black, while it has an awesome synergy with Fauana Shaman I don't have the ability to flicker it like traditional Kiki Chord lists do with multiple Resto's and Kiki-Jiki.
Hornet Nest was terrible in testing, when it wasn't removed it was typically letting 7 damage through from a Smasher before getting it off the board.

Majors. See the link above.
