I played a few games with the deathtouch guys, paired first against Affinity. That went well as my guys stared at Plating equipped Ornithopters flying over their heads...Dismember seems like it has to be right.
I have played with thopter sword a lot but only in the context with a tezzeret shell. Even in there thopter/sword is only just fine. It's not usually great. It's very slow and not always reliable to find. In your list you have 1 way to really find a piece and that's a singleton muddle. I promise you it's going to be so unreliable it's not worth it. You don't even have grim flayer or visions to filter for it. Both pieces alone are also horrible in that deck.

I've never played the Sword Combo, but this advice seems spot on. With few ways to find your combo pieces, I'd imagine that most of the time you'd only have half of the combo, and would just wish it was literally any other card.
I don't think her +2 is good enough to protect her when x=1, and with the number of spells Sultai runs, hitting a land or spell is going to suck if you 0 her. Outside of Tarmogoyf, Tasigur, or Death's Shadow (depending on your shell) there aren't that many good targets for her 0, either. LtLH or LotV are better if you're running PWs. New Nissa is probably great for Bant Eldrazi, though.

Pretty much this. I started testing with Nissa today in my Control shell, because I've seen too much hype on Reddit saying she'll be the card that makes BUG Control playable. My initial testing so far has quickly confirmed my suspicions that a low creature count deck is not where she wants to live. We rarely find creatures off her +2, essentially turning her into a repeatable Scry 2, if we can even protect her. And that's not a playable card in this format.
I'm hoping Frank Karsten with his Magic Math can figure out the minimum number of creatures to make her worthwhile, but it's definitely not the 12-16 that successful BUG lists currently run.
I think jadoth's deck is solid. I don't play online so I'm not sure how the meta varies compared to paper, but I wouldn't change anything. In fact, it looks like another person just went 5-0 with the same list, so can't argue with results:

Got your point dude, minutes after I make this post I saw that a player called kogamo made 5-0 with exactly the same list as our friend jadoth (hahaha), if that list is not perfect she's at least pretty close to that, but I believe that maybe in hour of devastation we will see something that can add to the deck, because in amonkhet have not seen anything good enough to enter any competitive list.
Anyway it's great to see that my favorite colors (BUG) are now playable in competitive modern, hopefully in the near future see a greater diversity of Sultai(BUG)decks in the meta game.
I'm building a BUG list. I play more midrange with, bob, goyf, snap and clique. The counters I play are light and cheap. Spell pierce and snare. So far I think the list can handle anything. Although I'm not sure about cards like smasher, could be problematic, although I do run 3 lily.
I run jadoth's list and I think it would be a good addition to the deck, since your +1 ability is great for triggering delirium, plus putting a token on the field to defend yourself, your -3 skill is great for "reanimate" a Grave Titan or Shriekmaw for example, his ult is good, but it is situational since there are few zombies on the list.
I just do not know for sure what to take off the deck, maybe 1 Fatal Push, or 1 Mishra's Bauble what do you guys think?
So guys, does anyone ever played Sultai Thopter Sword? Seems like a lot of fun and on paper it seems pretty strong too. I am still playing around with the numbers and cards and I don't even have a sideboard, yet.
The only recent deck I could find was at starcitygames.com. Would like to have all your input!
Has anyone played with this list at all? How did it go? I am trying to do something similar but am having some trouble making it work. One thing I was thinking about was Grim Flayer. Generally, is the mix of Thopter Sword with various creatures effective? Thanks for any input.

I think this unofficially makes him the most consistently successful BUG player in Modern.
So tell me how your list goes?
Has anyone gotten good results?
Does the deck work better as a control or midrange?
With Amonkhet's new spoilers, do you think we can have cards on some SULTAI (BUG) list, or at least that deserve special attention?
I think Nissa, Steward of Elements could be a good PW for the deck, some thoughts ?

Maybe some global removal such as Damnation for agroo decks, +1 Ghost Quarter (against Tron / Bant eldrazi), Collective Brutality, Garruk Relentless, Grim Flayer (main deck), Surgical extraction ?
Scrying, finding the right answer and stopping flooding can give games.
I'll test her as a 1 of in my Jace architect of thought slot.

Not bad. Not bad at all, and you can cycle it if not needed then use snap to cast later on. Not bad.
Is Delerium checked for on cast or resolution?
Resolution, Nihil Spellbomb is just better though
