Out of curiosity why do you think wafo cut snares entirely? Is modo just that weird? Wouldn't affinity and burn be everywhere on modo, thus making snare really good?
My guess would be that he is relying on other counterspells like leak and knot. I picked up his version of the deck online a few weeks back, and have been making a few changes. As far as paper goes I dropped to a single Spell Snare, but wasn't a fan. Currently I'm running two, which I've been happy with. Also I put in a Reflecting Pool and have been quite happy with it. Its not often that the issue is finding 1 of each color, but its trying to hit triple blue, double white and black on turn 4. Serum Visions as a two of hasn't been terrible either.
Really the only thing I've translated to paper from MTGO testing is Reflecting Pool and Secure the Wastes, everything else has yet to prove itself.

^^^This. I've moved over to a list with Secure, and I'm going to drop my Drowned Catacomb for a Reflecting Pool as a sort of tri-buddy-land. Other than that, I'm not sure I like the other changes.

I only play on MODO, and I went down to 2 Snares a long time ago. I think he was on-point to cut those and run Serum Visions at the bottom of the curve. I always look at situational, reactive spells as only being good in a matchup if they nullify the fundamental strategy of your opponent, i.e. they need to be crucial enough to screw my opponent's gameplan if I draw them. The only decks that live and die based off slamming early 2-drops are Affinity and Jund, one of which is basically non-existent (Affinity is technically Tier 1, but I literally haven't seen it in months so I assume only the dedicated are playing it). Against every other deck you have a card that is 50% to be another 1-for-1 or 50% to be dead card while your opponent's resolving a Collected Company or Nahiri. UWR Nahiri is a great example of the shift away from 2-drops; the deck used to live and die based off Snapcaster, but now you've got Nahiri and Ancestral that you really need to worry about. Can you blame Wafo for going bigger?
I've lost plenty of games against Burn where my last card was Snare and they drew a Bolt or Rift Bolt. As inconsistent as Mana Leak is, it's not as bad as Snare. I like Wafo gunning for the turn 4 Verdict as much as possible, and not hoping Snare neutralizes enough to make it to 4 mana.
A similar comparison is Red Blast in Legacy Miracles. I only board it in against decks that have game-ending blue permanents, you don't want to be only trading it with Brainstorms or Ponders. Another example is something like Wear/Tear. The card it removes has to be so back-breaking that the fact that its 50% of a card (half the time it's worth a full card and the other half it's worth nothing) is only worth it if the card it does trade with is worth multiple cards, like a Pithing Needle naming Sensei's Divining Top, or Sylvan Library.
I'm just guessing here, but I think the online meta has more Zoo/Suicide Zoo/Infect/Tron than the paper meta (if only ever so slightly), which feel worse to run Snare into than the rest of tier 1/2.

Yea, I like the art on most expeditions, but the actual border/card just kills it for me.
While I do like the full-art cryptics, I do agree that for all the hate the post m15 border gets, I kind of like it, certainly not less than "old modern" borders.
Realized I've got about 300 bucks in store credit built up. Should I go all in on expedition lands? Got my last foil halo today btw
Seconding expeditions as ugly, half assed cash grabs. The only ones worth looking at are stream vents and misty rainforest in my opinion. Judge promo fetches are worth it, they are gorgeous.
Promo cryptics are interesting, but the original art trumps the fish hand for me.
The unhinged basics are pretty, but cliché. I love older basics with the brown card frames.
I don't care for textless cards, so regular foil Cryptics get the nod from me. For basics, I use all Zendikar full-art foils, with the Noah Bradley island being my favorite. I think the Watery Grave, Mystic Gate, and Polluted Delta expeditions are gorgeous. Hallowed Fountain one looks pretty funny. The old border cards or weird border cards also look offputting to me.

I hate textless cards because it's not uncommon for me to play against people who don't know what the cards do. For example, even I still don't know offhand whether Condemn is power or toughness haha. Don't get me wrong, I love me some sweet art, but scumming people out with textless cards when they don't know what they do is just not how I want to play magic. MM2 Cryptics all the way, since they aren't textless and use bullet points -- I have 2 foils of them, and 2 regulars.
Just got my 2x foil Secure the Wastes in the mail. Not looking forward to somehow getting foil fetches, shocks, Snappys, and promo Colonnades; but super stoked to get some Think Twices, OG Logic Knots, etc.
By the way, I'm going to be that guy who uses foil Snow-Lands. Already have a foil Snow-Covered Swamp from my n00b days (not sure how I even got it lol), and I still need Islands and Plains.
#TheOnePercent (as if I have actual money, lol NOPE)
I love my original zendikar foil basics but if I had unlimited money I'd definitely upgrade to foil unhinged. It's too bad they're ~$50 each. I already have at least 10 regular unhinged lands in the esper colors, need to keep a fully foiled deck though
I can't have any foil MM15 card besides Clique, I just love the art but the foiling process is so crummy.

Judge Foil fetches best fetches, if possible.
Love em. But I also like my expeditions.

Just my two cents.
