I guess we've passed the point where they would spoil a new "Avatar" meaning there is nothing exciting in Origins for us. Have my hopes up for BoZ though!
I think this depends on your local meta. For me at my LGS the Spellskites are better in the main than Scooze, which stays in the board for now. There's a lot of matchups where he just doesn't do enough, whereas Spellskite seems to be much stronger against a wider range of decks. I can see arguments either way and I like having the available Scoozes in the sideboard, but for me Spellskite is the better maindeck option.

What would you guys say is the worst match up for the deck?
In my experiences so far I've found GR Tron to be a fairly tough matchup. If you have a good start and they don't have Tron early then you can win before they do anything, but if they get going early you're screwed. Amulet Bloom, same thing. I think both are matchups we can win, but we want them to have a slower start.
Other tougher matchups are Abzan, Merfolk, Affinity, and Infect. I've been fortunate not to have to face an Abzan deck yet in paper magic, but others say it's a rough matchup for us. I find Merfolk tough as it's fast and messes with our mana, also making their things unblockable in the process. I've won against it before but often because of an opponent's play mistake (like leaving one of my guys unblocked when they have me dead on board). We've all been on the receiving end of a turn 2 loss at the hands of infect if it gets a god draw, but even without an amazing draw they're still faster than us and often unblockable. Affinity is also a bit quicker than us and can fill the board quickly, stopping us pushing through damage - I've found that tricky too.
Most decks we face have the ability to win on their day. On the whole I think Stompy competes very well with much more expensive decks, especially once you get a bit of experience with it, know your matchups, and can play accordingly. It's one of the decks I've consistently enjoyed playing in Modern.
This is kinda interesting. Might be a good sideboard card if Lingering Souls becomes really popular. Also works against a flipped Delver. It's probably too narrow, but maybe we could use it some day.
I don't know if this was discussed before, but what does everyone thing of Might of the Masses ? I could see it being a really excellent addition to the deck. need to test a bit

Might of the Masses is not very good. By main boarding Might you are making this deck even more vulnerable to removal than it already is. If you want something like this, play Giant Growth
Hmm, both the Caterpillar and Aerial Volley seem like they could fit niche roles in Stompy - tried Leaf Arrow for a while, just wasn't doing enough. This is strictly better though...
Caterpillar is actually a card I have been wanting for a long time, just hoped it would be printed on a sturdier two-drop. Still, it might be we should look into tweaking the deck to include it - possibly adding Pendelhaven as it is essentially free to play...?
I'm new to this deck coming from Junk Abzan and Affinity and had a few questions. I've seen a bunch of lists running various amounts of Dungrove Elder between the main and SB; what matchups is he particularity good/bad against? My current list doesn't run any but it would be easy enough to pick them up, can anyone convince me to switch them in?
A couple lists have shown up in the Modern Festival Prelims, and one in particular struck my fancy. He was running 4 Llanowar Reborn and a Predator Ooze among a bunch of other small changes. I think Ooze could be pretty strong in conjunction with prey upon, I think the meta has shifted away from Path so indestructible is much stronger.

I lov Ooze, it is a fun and unique card, but it is too slow for this deck. I have my playset and I tried it in pretty much every slot in this deck, and by the time it even swings for 2, we want to have pretty much one. If the game is still going when it does as much as Baloth, we are in a bad spot. indestructible is nice, in a deck that wants a chump blocker that can grow. it has the potential to be good in a mono-G midrange, but I don't see any reason to ever run it here.

I came in 2nd place at my FNM last night with my Hardened Scales version. Lost to Jund twice, he got really good hands and he over-prepared his deck for an aggro meta.
What do you mean? Are there no good cards spoiled later in the spoiler season?

What about Outland Colossus?

Edit* A link to the list I was referencing.

A little too slow, but possible in the right meta to work.
Predator Ooze, Managorger Hydra, Skarrgan Pit-Skulk are cards that have/will see some mix in this deck, but are less consistent.

I don't have a lot of Blood moon in my meta, so I might go back to G/R Hardened Scales Aggro(lighting bolt, Bloodhall Ooze, Rakdos Cackler get me quicker kills.)
I am going to try some sacrifice components this week in my Mono-green to see how that turns out"
