That sounds like a pretty fair sample size, I'm just not sure how to tailor this deck for that kind if meta. Right now I'm trying to decide to get Wurmcoil Engines because I'm not confident in the Reckoner plan anymore. Also thinking of Thunderbreak Regent in those slots too. Thoughts?
And that is exactly why i predicted Skred was going to be my best bet on the next pro tour.. it will be filled with aggro decks trying to beat tron and eldrazi blasting each other..
On another note, yesterday as i tested vs Black Eldrazi i won 4 of 6 matches the key is an early blodo moon.. it all depended on that since if they didnt discard it they just flop to it. The matches i lost was a combination of exaclty that and being beaten by reality smasher on turn 3 and a second one on turn 4.. that card is a damn beast, best card on OGW for modern with the seer so far and they are close.. specially against us the smasher is almost unkillable.
This led me to think of the best ways to get rid of it and i think that perilous vault is the best bet so far.... then it clicked with me.. and what if we used it? we could get rid of the blood moon, or send it to the sb?.. or we could still play it on main and rely on mindstones solely to cast it, and also what about thought knot seer if we are at it?.. something like.

I was wondering how well the new eldrazi strategy would meld with the deck.
I was at a cross roads between running red land destruction (fulminator mage//molten rain) or going straight blood moon effect.
-more land destruction, generates more lands for Oblivion Sower to steal when he comes down.
-this deck doesn't have urborg, tomb of yawgmoth like the other eldrazi decks have, to (turn non-basics such as fetch lands into usable lands once you reach sower),
-however we have an advantage, Blood moon! Blood moon is be better choice as it does what we would need urborg to do with Sower and its already one of the decks staple strategies.
Another reason this combination has some promise is unlike other eldrazi we can run anger of the gods, typically fast aggro decks are considered a problem for the Eldrazi deck, so a board wipe that exiled such as this is good stuff for this deck.
- So far their isn't many processors to run other than Blight herder, being mono red we cut out wasteland strangler which is fine because we have Boros reckoner and anger of the gods which can do what he does but better.
Plays relatively similar to what we already are doing, however the decks feels heavier on large threat than it needs to be, compared to regular skred red.
Koth still plays as normal, but he ramps you into sower a turn sooner or even into ulamog. As the deck currently is, he is being depended upon more to accelerate into the 5cc, 6cc since the deck is running more of them than non-eldrazi lists would.
Blight Herder, while i've spent most of the time focused on Sower interaction, Blight herder I think has untapped potential for Skred/red ingeneral.
-A stock list already plays anger, and relic so more than likely we will get the eldrazi processor trigger to resolve. So Blight herder can be a decent play in both this eldrazi focused list or a regular list looking for a 5cc threat.
-the other perk is he triggers upon cast, so even if he is counter spelled you get 3 1/1 tokens which can also be mana sources.
-not countered, you just put 7 power on the field.

Im not really sure about Sower being something we need here... so far Thou-knot is an MVP and Reality Smasher is a bit worse than Stormbreath Dragon in my testing.. Lets Continue...

Here is my updated list as of a few minutes ago.
The new additions are the singleton earthquake instead of roast, which is fine in a lot of matchups. As I said before, it's a nice board wipe that scales late game. If you have a higher life total you can potentially burn your opponent out especially with a Koth -2.
The other main deck new card is Chandra, Flamecaller. She is the perfect card for this deck in my opinion. All of her abilities are relevant. The plus is a win condition all itself. Rather you are attacking the opponent for 6 each turn, or trading with their smaller creatures her + is awesome.
The middle ability is probably the least used, but is very strong nonetheless. Since this allows you to draw at least one card it help dig for what ever answers/ threats you need. I don't have much graveyard interaction at the moment, but Goblin Dark-Dwellers could lead to an interesting take on it.
The last ability is a scalable board wipe. While it does interfere with Chandra's parents and thopters, killing most of your opponents creatures for free is great. Just beware of tasigur and siege rhino. Usually bolting them and doing a minus 2 on Chandra is the most effective non skred way to deal with 5 toughness creatures.
Six mana is not to hard to get to, which is why hitting your land drops and having mind stones is important. Using Koth to power her out turn 4 or 5 is really strong.
I also put a couple of spellskites in the main. I expect a lot of burn, infect and possibly bogles and spellskite helps a lot in those matchups.
Any questions on my list? Later I'll speak of my local tournament games.

it's not waste mana. it's colorless mana. go to the gatherer, look at mindstone. here's the link. mind stone now produces the new mana symbol. so does scrying sheets and mouth of ronom. so with 9 sources, you could cast those eldrazi.

But then you need to take out Blood Moon since it cuts off colorless mana. Relying just on Mindstone isn't good enough. That only accounts for "4" lands and can be destroyed quite easily. You are asking for Kolaghan's Command to become a Stone Rain + more utility and post side a Shattering Spree or Ancient Grudge to become cheap land destruction. Relying on unreliable ways to cast our creatures is asking for failure. Which means you might as well run another deck as you can do better with a multi colored deck. I assure you that BW Eldrazi is just better than Mono Red Eldrazi. I mean if you have fun playing it then go ahead I don't think that is where Skred Red needs to go.
I might splash white and try Oath of Gideon. We run enough Planeswalkers. Ive never lost a game where I ultimate Koth. With Oath you only need to activate him once. It's a least worth testing.

Thoughts?
This question of mine got a little buried with the eldrazi discussion but I am interested in how people feel about Wurmcoil vs. Regent vs. Reckoner with regards to a meta that looks like that SCG tourney
This where I am at in deck development. Trying to keep it pretty streamlined. I've been playing 4c Zoo for about a year now and want to move into something a little more unfair and yet not purely Burn.
I considered Reality Smasher as well, but then realized that the old adage is true: 'with very few exceptions, colored mana spells are better than colorless mana spells'. Thundermaw Hellkite simply does it better. He knocks down blockers before him (killing many: birds, lingering souls, vault skirge, and vendilion clique), and is thus nearly unblockable (except nexus lands). So Hellkite can hastily hit for 5 and kill stuff whereas the Smasher will run into walls and kill nothing upon triggers. The pitched card to kill the smasher is a small cherry on top, in my opinion.

Honestly it's meta dependent. I'm the one that came up with and ran double dragons. I used to run 4 Thunderbreak and 4 Stormbreath back a few weeks after Thunderbreak was released. I also ran an Ugin. It worked for a good 6-7 events and I loved it. I won multiple FNM's with it. Thunderbreak generated a shock no matter what and sometimes was snap>bolt>snap which felt great. However the meta changed to decks running 4x terminates, Paths, Go for the throats and dismembers. Even though Thunder got value I was still getting blown out tempo wise. Same for Stormbreath (outside path). So now I run 4x Pia and Kiran with a singleton Stormbreath which is replaceable with Thundermaw so whatever floats your boat depending on the Paths. I also run one Wurmcoil. It's okay still with kCommand in the meta as it still takes them multiple cards to deal with one. I'm still moving away from it and will probably just replace with another Storm or Hellkite as Lingering Souls is just making its rounds right now. Depending on the meta dragons can be just fine. I just like that Hangarback and Pia and Kiran can protect Koth easily and Pia is good with Hangar.
I would not run Reckoner. Sometimes the interactions are fun but it's rare it works out that way. He generates nothing with terminate, path or anything that just kills. Players will learn quickly to play around it or even bolt it instantly.

Thanks for that man, I was considering Pia and now I think I like those a lot in combination with Hangarback etc. I worry about Wurmcoil because of K Command but against decks that don't have that it's great. I will adjust my list accordingly
I have been testing all day a build with:
4 though-knot seer
3 Stormbreath dragon
Although Reality smahser seems to be great, stormbreath is just better, i have always liked him better than thundermaw or any other.
as for the seer's well.. i must say he is great and i love the gameplan with them and the mind stone, but yeah im afraid the blood moon plan conflicts too much with this guy and if i have to remove one of them well.. ill keep the moon anyday, and with that im bacj to simian spirit guides over mind stone.
the thing is that although reckoner is not great by itself, he is a must kill for any non affinity deck, and by the time you play it vs zoo, delver, burn, jund, abzan, merfolks, he is almost guaranteed to be a 2 for 1. The skred to reckoner for like 7 plan is not realistic but its there sometimes.. and the blasphemous act/reckoner kill is a threat that even if you pull it just once on the tourney everybody will be preocupied with it.. and sometimes you could end up having only that little combo to win on the spot.. so i gues sim back to my old list for now albeit with a heavy tweaked sideboard.
I will just miss the seer vs GR tron.. they provided everything we need to seal that match, pressure and disruption on curve. oh well..

I will just miss the seer vs GR tron.. they provided everything we need to seal that match, pressure and disruption on curve. oh well..
