I took GoBots to states in MO yesterday and while I went 3-2 drop because I was super tired (haven't played MTG in about 2 or 3 months and it was an hour and a half drive one way). I REALLY enjoyed it took down g/b Tron, Bant Eldrazi, and a fully foiled Grixis Delver (game two of the delver was by far my favorite game). Lost to Norn Sisters and Abzan CoCo. Couldn't seem to do much against sisters and I'm pretty sure I lost due to a play mistake against abzan but all in all it was super fun. Having said all of that though, I think not having bolt or G.G. really screwed me over so i think i'm going to do a "12 whack" of sorts. Go more on goblins but keep in the Pest and give that a shot. All in all I love this deck!

- we need more whacker q.q 8+4 aren't enough
- sometimes you have to keep risky hands, you need it
- altered mountains are awesome but care - I wasn't allowed to play one of them 'cause it was poorly altered... (thickness)
- Creaturematchups are.... not that great.
Contratz and awesome report, I think gobots are able to perform well in big tournaments. You did very well, the real problem is to fight better against aggro decks /zoo /fish / allies.
Regarding your Narnam Problem I've been thinking of using 2 Coordinated Assault in place of Grull Charm, to win the combats in an sneaky way. I only own 1, so it is going to be 1 Coordinated Assault and 1 Atarka's Command in the sideboard.
Today I'll be playing at my LGS, so I'll report later. Also I'm going to use 10 red fetches, 3 mountains, 3 cooperline, 2 stomping ground.
@Rogomatic do you suggest to run the deck on white, instead of green??, do ir RGw??
Technically, you're only running G for Atarka's Command -- and you play all your cards by fetching once. I think it's possible to add a Sacred Foundry without making the mana (too) janky. You'll have to fetch twice to be able to play both G and W. With 8 fetches that is not unreasonable. In any case, it's probably better than going RW and losing Command.
Also, if you ever considered Act of Aggression, perhaps you should try Kari Zev's Expertise which seems like it's the better card.
Given that Death's Shadow will check against your life total once it's confiscated, it's highly unlikely that you will be able to get two shadows to trade. You might be able to kill one by reducing it to 0 toughness this way, though.

Yup, collected company can hurt. Cages will help so long as they don't draw a board wipe. I've always found the match up tough.
For Zoo it's a 50/50 type of thing IMO. Engineered Explosives or Gruul Charm can win the day.
Great job on the burn. That falls in line with everyone's assessment.
Merfolk is an odd one. We think we have them but without assistance they typically beat us for an odd reason. Embarrassment is the same feeling I feel when I loose to them too. lol What has helped me out a lot is Pithing Needle on Vial.
15-16 whacks is a good number. We could add more but it would slow the deck down. What are your thoughts?
I'm Talgardo's idea to use first strike pump spells. Or, we could add bigger pumps say +2 instead of the typical +1.
Yesterday I went to my LGS only 3 rounds. I finished 3-0.
1st round vs UW Control (2:1)
1st game: I keep the pressure until I won.
2nd game: he controlled my game very well. With swipes etc.
3rd game: He couldnt swipe my creatures. I draw 6 cards due to Bomat, and won.
2nd round vs GB Tron (2:1)
1st game: quick win.
2nd game: sided in genesis chamber and destructive and fatal push. He started with IoK. Then collective brutality. Then tragstusk(??) couldnt recover from there.
3rd game: same side as before, but managed to win. He played one wurmcoil. I killed it when he attacked. With CB He killed a signal pest and Drainlife instead of discard my atarka. And I won on next turn with bushwacker and atarka.
3rd round vs Bant Eldrazi (2:1)
This matchup was really hard, thr guy played well and I did some clear miss plays.
1st game: I have in my hand 1 woodedfoothills, Ornithopter, kukdota, signal pest. Goblin guide. Bomat and atarka. I keep the hand and played the signal pest. This play cost me the game. Because i didnt draw a land until 3rd turn. I think I should have played the ornithopter and then the kuldotha. In order to star hitting with 5 on second turn. The he got plebty of timw to assemble and wkn this one.
2nd game: i sided in 2 destructive and 3 chamber and 2 gutshots. Started with gutshot. Then the game progressed until I won fairly quick.
3rd game: he did't draw explosives. And went really oppressive on the aggro. I casted 2 genesis chamber and bomat was very important on giving me draws. I end the game with 6 3/1 tokens plus other dudes.
In conclusion the deck is really good at surprising people with the pants down. It is super aggro. But my concern still exist regarding the concistency of the deck.
The configuration of my mainboard it's solid. 10 fetches 2 shocks 3 mountains and 3 cooperline worked fine. I got 1 arid mesa standing there hanging around. But im unsure if it is a signal to add another stomping instead of one cooperline.
Regarding the sideboard:
3 destructive revelry. This sould be 4 and I even would add one Shattering Spree. (+2)
4 gutshot. Even i didn't fight against affinity or infect. The spell worked well agains bant eldrazi.
2 coordinates assault. Never saw play because neve encountered zoo, fish, etc.
3 G.Cage: this one never saw play. I played it against UW control but wasn't able to impact the table.
3 Genesis Chamber. All stars card. Standing Ovation.
The only think I fear with this deck is the massive lifegain. Atarka helps but a kitche finks or a deck with timmely reinforcement can be tricky.
I've been think kn adding Lyline of Punishment. Maybe this would work well but should be 3 copies to bein able to draw it...

Great work Talgardo! I like what your SB has adapted into. And, holy smokes that is one roll up you got there. If we pause right here and lets grab some of the other members SBs and do a collective indept look at some of the options we have to X problem. Here is what I pulled going a few pages back.
Recently, Magmatic Chasm was pulled from his SB leaving two open slots. Currently, having issues against Aggro, but doing well against Combo and Control.
Great SB, but hasn't posted in these parts much after his visit.
I do not have a time to break down the SBs and card selection, but I think it would be a great idea to systematically address what is forcing our SBs to look as such. i.e. Talgardo, you mention you added Layline of Punishment for very specific reasons backed by experience. And, what other options are there available? Those two questions is what need to ask ourselves and provide data.
I cleaned it up a bit but I am still not done as I want to a few more things...

I did a lot of missinformation. But it is required additional explanation for some matchups.
Grafdigger's Cage vs Living End does nothing. AGREED, cage does nothing here.
Grafdiggers Cage vs Bloomless Titan / and Valakut titan I also missread the card... Thought it denied cards entering from the libaries, but it reffers only to creatures. I guess the real answer should be Tophor Orb to affect the Entering the battlefield effect on the titan, but only that.
Grafdiggers Cage vs Zoo it is only against Renegade Rallier decks. But it is very narrow.
Genesis Chambger vs Burn/RDW - This could help us a lot, they will try to play control, if we are able to swarm them maybe they are unable to answer cause of the many threaths.
Genesis Chamber vs Dredge, I thought it to fight it against conflagrate. But if you can field the Cage, it's fine.

Leyline of Punishment will be the key to win 2-0 against most decks "in paper". allways lose when my opponents gain life.

Grafdigger's Cage vs Living End does nothing. AGREED, cage does nothing here.
Grafdiggers Cage vs Bloomless Titan / and Valakut titan I also missread the card... Thought it denied cards entering from the libaries, but it reffers only to creatures. I guess the real answer should be Tophor Orb to affect the Entering the battlefield effect on the titan, but only that.
Grafdiggers Cage vs Zoo it is only against Renegade Rallier decks. But it is very narrow.
Genesis Chambger vs Burn/RDW - This could help us a lot, they will try to play control, if we are able to swarm them maybe they are unable to answer cause of the many threaths.
Genesis Chamber vs Dredge, I thought it to fight it against conflagrate. But if you can field the Cage, it's fine.
