And Also, some of my team mates are pressuring me to put in Suppression field and cut my searches down to 5 with only 2 canopy. How do you feel about this. They feel it will be especially good against Ad, Tron, Affinity and Living End.
Supression Field is a reasonable maindeck card. Personally I'm not a huge fan since it's almost completely dead in quite a few matchups. It's not great against Ad Nauseam as it only works against Lightning Storm but not Laboratory Maniac and it's dead after sideboard because of Patrician's Scorn. It's pretty decent against Tron but they can often still do the same thing a turn later while you slowed yourself down a turn too. Against affinity it's good against some draws but again it slows you down and they can often just ignore it. You will probably still need a lifelinking Bogle to win. Against Living End it's also not that great. It will slow down their cycling a bit but yet again it slows you down a similar amount and they'll still blow you out with a Living End a turn later or with a few creatures fewer.
Still, these matchups aren't really the problem though as it's at the very least decent there. The problem is there's a number of matchups like Burn, Bant Eldrazi, RG Valakut, Storm and so on where it's almost completely dead. Cards that are completely dead in some matchups really need to pull their weight in the others and I'm not sure it does that. If you do decide to run it I'd recommend still playing 4 Canopies and 8 fetches though.
Regarding the rest of what you say writing a matchup guide for 15 different matchups is a bit too much to ask I'm afraid. I feel like Bogles isn't that well positioned in general right now as there's a rather high prevalence of maindeck Discard/Lilianas and a lot of Chalices and Blessed Alliance to watch out for. Still, the Burn/Affinity/Merfolk matchups are still great so perhaps it's a good choice. Your sideboard looks very standard and reasonable.
I personally like the Seal because you can play it out when you want and don't have to hold up mana. I want to still be putting on pressure. I used to run nature's claim but Chalice seems to be everywhere with the rise of Eldrazi decks. I would side with Naturalize over Disenchant simply because later in games I usually have more available green mana.
Ok, talk to me here. Do you believe taking out path for leyline is worth considering? What matchups would suffer and which would improve? We like stoney a lot because of tron, affinity and ad. Do you believe supression is better than stoney in those spots? We expect affinity to be very popular. Also, what matchups does kor shine the most in? I assume against elves, merfolk and ad N you would run her out turn 2. Im also very concerned about b eldrazi.
I don't recommend taking out the paths. Far too valuable. I trimmed other fat from the deck to fit in Leylines (unflinching courage. Open the armory and a hyena umbra in my list). As far as Stony goes I have deffinately not seen alot of affinity lately due to it being a bad matchup against death shadows early discard. If your worried about it I understand why you run 3. I warn you though that I don't like it in the tron matchup. It's good against eldrazi tron but I like that matchup already. Against traditional style tron I find Pithing Needle to be much better as it can also stop Ugin. I think that suppression field does more as a catchall and also hits decks like Abzan. It does nothing against Ad Naus but I've made the decision that the matchup is so bad I won't devote sideboard slots to it and just hope I can dodge it. You are right about whay matchups Kor is good in. But right now I'm running only 2 and might cut it down to 1. Silhana Ledgewalker is just better in a fatal push world. AND as far as Bant Eldrazi it's all about not getting hit by Chalice. This matchup is a great reason for running 2 maindeck spirit mantles at the least. If they don't have Chalice they have no answer and you can get them in situations where there forced to make bad blocks. I board in my 4th path and my spirit link. I also bring in my Seals just for the Chalice. I actually like this matchup alot more than my Bant Spirits matchup.

I agree with your assessment of main deck Supression Field. I've tried it and didn't like it for the exact reasons you list. Plus it isn't great on the draw as you can't punish fetch lands as much. I do disagree with not altering the land base if you do run them. I wouldn't cut down on the canopy but cutting down fetches I feel is a must. But I only run 6 anyways.
I'm curious on your thoughts on maindeck Leylines. I know that there are dead matchups for it but most of them are already in Bogles favor. I switched to doing this because of all the discard effects and Liliana currently.
So we decided to run main-deck Leylines. The rationale being is that I'm in the middle seat. We anticipate a majority of teams to have a jund/death shadow variant, most likely in the middle. We think it will pull its weight so much that it will be worth it, so thanks for the suggestion. I feel this will increase our match percentage by going in that direction without effecting our matches against aggro variants. Sadly though we only can run one or two paths main to fit for this. We have 6 umbras, but I wonder if you believe going to 5 for the sake of more path is worth it. Open the Amory has been so good for us we are hesitant to cut it. We are going to do a 3/1 split with kor and ledgewalker. We are moving away from the suppression fields as well. Where is path the most important so we can talk about its numbers in the 75? More to come.

Very simply put I feel the Open should be cut if your going to run maindeck hate cards because you want to minimize the number of non Bogle non Aura cards.. if your cutting low on the paths this helps as I never like to have that number above 6 and as a rule of thumb I raise that number to a max 8 when sideboardin. Any cut in Umbras should always be Hyenas.. the deck is often more taxed on white mana.. I've never been caught with too many green Auras in hand.. I like 6 Umbras especially if your running a Spiritdancer build.. and most importantly good luck to you.

I'm not a fan of maindeck Leylines for similar reasons, that it's simply a dead draw in many matchups. It also carries the additional problem that when you're mulliganing for the first game you don't know what the opponent is playing so it's very hard to evaluate the starting hands. If you want to be really spikey for a team tournament I suppose you could try to be a bit slow shuffling and maybe see what the other tables are playing before deciding.

I think that expecting specific decks in specific seats is a mistake. I think it's unlikely that more than 40% of teams will bring a Death's Shadow or Jund deck in the first place and it will probably be in all 3 seats equally. Additionally even if what you said is true Bogles is NOT the deck you want to use to counter it.
Path to Exile is an automatic 4-of in the maindeck in the current meta. It's great against the 5 most played decks (DS Jund, Burn, Bant Eldrazi, Affinity, Eldrazi Tron) and it's a great all-round answer to many more common and uncommon decks. There's almost no matchups where the card is bad. Often the deck is considered to have 4 flex spots (in addition to the 12 creatures, 20 lands, 20 standard auras and 4 Paths) where you can either add more auras like Spirit Mantle/Spirit Link/Gryff's Boon or go for more tech cards like Supression Field or Mana Tithe. If you want to play Leyline of Sanctity there I suppose that's fine but if you also want to fit in Open the Armory and 1-of auras the spots start to get tight. I suppose going down to 6 Umbras is acceptable in the current meta since there aren't too many sweepers, though they're still great in many combat situations. Following a T1 bogle with two auras on T2 is really the way to win almost every matchup, and reach/first strike is really relevant.
What is everyone's experience with playing against black based discard decks? Does game one feel like a auto loss, especially on the draw? We think that Leyline has applications for pretty much any deck playing black in this meta game(Abzan, Jund, Grixis of all variants), Bant Eldrazi with blessed and Seer, Burn obviously, storm, Titanshift, scapeshift, and even Affinity(Blast). Another Perk is that the SB can have additional slots and that it's easier to SB. Also, Is missing those 2 paths and additional 2 Aura slots going to significantly reduce the win rate against decks like affinity, Merfolk, Elves, Burn and other decks? Here is what we have so far.
4x Gladecover Scout
4x Kor Spiritdancer
4x Slippery Bogle
Sideboard (13)
2x Gaddock Teeg
1x Lifelink
2x Path to Exile
3x Rest in Peace
2x Seal of Primordium
3x Stony Silence
We still have 2 SB slots we are pondering, either more enchantment removal, more auras or additional hate cards. Any suggestions based on this current build is welcome. We still hold to the theory that the match-ups Leyline is dead in are already very good ones, or almost unwinnable anyway.
Any of you folks who run Canopy-less builds interested in the new fetchable dual lands; specifically, Scattered Groves? I can't imagine wanting to run more than 1 or 2, but on paper it seems like it could be worth it in those games where we can finish off our opponent by top-decking an aura, but are flooded on mana.

Always entering tapped is a pretty steep price. Only makes sense if you're fetching at end of turn, but I'd just run another shockland instead. These are only likely to see play in decks with Valakut or Life from the Loam. I think I'd even run checklands before these.

Absolutely agree. I don't plan on adding any cycle lands to my list, but that's mostly because I run a set of Canopies. I've had countless games where sacking Canopy to draw a card saved my ass and/or won me the game in a long, grindy matchup. That's what made me think of the cycle lands in relation to the budget decks w/o Canopy; yes, an opening hand with one of these wouldn't be ideal, but in a late-game top deck situation, it would act as a way to thin the mana base and cantrip. Worst case scenario, you'd fetch at end of turn as you previously suggested. If there's one thing I know for sure after playing this deck for ~2 years, it's that with limited options for card draw and barely any spells costing > 2cmc, we are very prone to mana floods and late-game fizzles. Horizon Canopy doesn't eliminate these issues, but it certainly helps mitigate them; AFAIK lists w/o Canopy don't have many options to combat this aside from something like Keen Sense.
I won't have much time to play test until Summer rolls around, so if anybody decides to give the cycle lands a whirl, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts and whether or not you think they're viable in builds which aren't running Horizon Canopy.
Good card period. My guess is a 2/2 split with Hyena umbra depending on how sweeper heavy the meta is. Maybe even more than 2. It's a great card. Does tons of good things. Helps against tons of decks. Great against Jund. Great against Blessed Alliance. I think it's a keeper. That's just my guess.
The Cartouche in the subtype is interesting. I think that's a type of jewelry. The name of the card is interesting as well. I bet there will be more of these. Cartouche of justice, Cartouche of honor... something like that. But I have no idea. I'm out of touch with the spoilers scene. Just another guess. This might be a huge set for aura's.

About time we got some new toys! I don't know about a 2/2 split w/ Hyena Umbra since totem armor is such a key effect, but this is definitely something I'm excited to play around with. On paper, it seems like it'll be a nice option to mitigate edict effects.
Heck, I didn't see the Spellskite proof. I thought of the cartouche as a sideboard option, but yes, I guess, you could play it mainboard.
I didn't realize it at first glance either. I'm hoping they do a full cycle of these auras, at least one per color; seems like there's definitely some potential there if any 'cartouche' aura has the caveat of the target being a creature you control.
Edit: The rest of the cartouche auras look pretty underwhelming. The green one would be ok if it didn't have a 3 cmc.
So since this is your list and I haven't seen anyone else give an adequate answer, why the singleton lifelink in sb? The only reason I could think of is to remove your coronets for hate against blood moon decks (since double white is hard to get), but you want cheap life link still, playing one spirit link and one lifelink. Or I guess you could juat want more life gain but no unflinching courage because it is too mana expensive?
This has been bugging me for a while now since I saw that one list on mtgtop8 with 2 main leylines and singleton life link in sb. Any insight would be appreciated.

Yup. Looks like we got skunked. I agree with you. The green one is decent until you look at the cost. You would need an almost perfect scenario to get value off the 3 cmc price tag. I'll take Unflinching Courage all day long if I'm going to jam an aura at 3 mana. Oh well. Kind of strange they made the first cartouche so much better and more efficient than the rest. I just happy we got something. I really think the cartouche of strength is going to be effective.

Did you mean to say the Cartouche of Solidarity? I'm definitely going to test out two of them and see how they perform. I agree in regards to the design for each cartouche; the second one that I saw spoiled was the red which also had a cmc of 1, so I got my hopes up for the others. However, the cartouche of knowledge isn't too bad for those who are still experimenting with blue in their lists; it's more/less a Gryff's Boon that costs 1 more and cantrips.
