Yeah I don't think sundering titan in the side is a great idea. He kind of wrecks 3 color decks with the fetch shock mana base. I was considering the second snap but the 2nd wurmcoil helps so much in the aggro matchups. I'll definitely consider the 3rd chalice but it will take me a while to get the funds haha, rip college student wallet. I've also considered a spatial contortion or dismember in the main. I just don't know what to remove for it. I do appreciate the feed back though.

I think Jace decks will actually be pretty decent match ups for us, as we traditionally have good match ups agianst durdle control decks.

Speaking of Jace hate, just play Jace's Defeat. The card is real.

Yes, we have historically been 75-25 against them but they ARE getting better with Jace. Jace gives them amazing draws over and over again. Our top end is big but their ability to dig for threats and counters becomes huge with Jace. you are right about sundering titans value may be going up, I just haven't been main decking it that much and don't miss it. with 2 snaps and 2 dismebers or 2 spatials or combo of the 2 our aggro matchup is greatly improved than just jamming 2 wurmcoils. 3x chalic is so much gas its hard to not run them. This deck needs wide answers and chalice offers just that.

pithing needle over spyglass. can be fetched with trinket mage. trinket mage package is going to be really important if jace catches on.

Pithing Needle can be very weird with Chalices that usually go on 1 though.

Why not just play negate? it counter's jace and every blue counter in the same way. sure you don't get the scry but you get to counter every other relevant non creature spell in the format including Lily, which will be a 4 of out of jund. that's where I'm at.

would you rather be countering a snapcaster and a clique or would you rather counter a scapeshift, karn, blood moon, gifts ungiven, ad nauseam, rest in peace, stony silence, ancient grudge, liliana of the veil, bitterblossom, etc. etc. etc. In addition to every other relevant card in U matchups.

tested agaisnt a rug snap/tarmo/jace deck and went 5-1 in games. midrange that trys to play long with us loses. it was comical.

I think negate is the best it's ever been and deserves 2 slots in out board. and yeah the meta seems GREAT for us. I am still testing a main jace because it's sweet but i think it's probably wrong. I am also slotting in a spyglass in my board for lily and jace and karn. Would play needle but that's tough with chalice. here's my 75 rn. If jace sucks, I plan on moving to solemn again.

What do you guys think, could Sundering Titan be worth playing again? Looks quite good to me vs 3-colored midrange and U-based decks. Bouncing it with Jace also feels pretty bad.

He is bad/good as it is right now. They still run alot of "non basic" duals.

It's been worth playing in the MD for awhile now that Grixis/4C DS, Mardu Midrange, and Jeskai midrange/control has been like 30-40% of the meta. It just was never good against E-Tron heavy meta, which was almost a year ago.

UR breach tron v 2.0. i did 6 matches with regular UR breach for comparison, and this felt way better, but i am biased. went 8-2 in two comp leagues.

I am torn between 2nd ugin or MD sundering titan. Resolved ugin almost is gg and can hit jace which I believe is better than land denial. I understand it's not gg vs jace decks but it answers jace the turn it resolves which seems better than leaving them with a jace even without lands

7/10 split as shok call it ends lives on the spot. why wouldnt you play it even if its "bad"??

Please Help!! Looking for SB advice vs Jund with BBE. Running pretty much the standard decklist. 2 Chalice, 1 EE, 2-3 Surgical. Negate has me really interested.

To be honest, I don't get these posts with "I'm running pretty much the standard decklist, help," because there really isn't a standard list, especially when it comes to the SB. So it's really hard to give feedback. Generally speaking though, Chalice doesn't do anything against Jund and Wurmcoil is very good. Counterspells are also good and Repeal can be amazing. It should be a good matchup for U-Tron unless they just BBE into Fulminator every time. Another card that's amazing against them is Spreading Seas. Seriously, the card wrecks their mana. Cut them off green or double black sources and you'll get some free turns early on. Like any other 3+ colour decks, Sundering Titan will often just end games on the spot.

Thanks for info guys. The reason I just related to "a standard list" was because it is pretty much the same as the ones currently listed in the last page or 2, besides the Eldrazi version. Actually it is identical to the one listed by FlyingWhales except for Jace and Spyglass. Totally agree with your statement on Spreading Seas, btw. It's brutal against 3 color non blue decks. I haven't really played against Jund much at lgs but a friend has finally completed his list just in time for BBE, go figure. Was play testing against him and like you said BBE into Fulminator was pretty bad.
