It's very list dependent. I couldn't say for sure without seeing what cards you are using.
His list is on top of this page.
Oh, I see. Just in passing I can say that the Boros Charms are often going to be horrific. I don't think that's a very playable card. Otherwise, his 75 is well-suited to fight against Counters/Company. That match-up is much harder from the Jeskai side though to play optimally. Even though it's a positive match-up in theory you still have to play the strong lines. They have a linear plan of play out the creatures and try to set-up a combo.
It's very normal for Jeskai players to not understand why they are losing to Company (or to Jund) and why another Jeskai player is crushing it.
I wouldn't recommend Spreading Seas in the sideboard. If you want to beat Eldrazi Tron dump the Crumbles and molten rains and run Ceremonious Rejection. It can counter any of their spells, even a T1 Map. And cheap to flashback. I've had much more success against Tron/Eldrazi, Lantern, affinity since adding copies of this card in the sideboard.
Why wouldn't you recommend Spreading Seas? It's so much better than Rejection in a metagame full of greedy manabases. Like it's way more broadly applicable than Rejection. Which isn't to say Rejection is bad, I think it's certainly playable, but Spreading Seas draws you a card so you can maintain card velocity and can very easily cut colors in this format right now.

I'm on the same page. I've been running a split of 3-4 Seas and 2 Rejection and it's been pretty good so far. I could see a 3/3 split as well. Seas is a solid T2 play against a lot of greedy manabases right now.

I don't think Seas is bad. I just don't think it's necessary with how well Rejection seems to be doing against a lot of the decks we've had trouble with historically (and some others as well). A lot of the decks that can randomly get wrecked by seas are already in the decent match-up range. I think Seas is really good in the Felidar combo version of Jeskai. I feel my sideboard choices are at a pretty high level at this point (after years of struggling to find the right way). I'm not saying you shouldn't run Seas if you like it, it's just I personally don't have the feeling like "man I wish I had seas", but I found that I often wished I had cards like Rejection.
List felt very good. It plays a bit more of an up-tempo/aggro control game than a traditional midrange deck, which I quite liked.
Censor continues to impress me in modern, and I'm quite happy running a 2/2 split of it with 2 Logic Knot.
Spell Queller was very, very good. I'm always glad to draw it, especially in multiples.
Geist of Saint Traft didn't show up every game, but when he did show up and my opponent wasn't prepared, he won the game with the help of keeping the board clear. Seeing it about once per match is where I think this version of the deck wants to be.
Dusk // Dawn was good, but I'm still not 100% sold on the card. It's sometimes a one-sided board wipe with upside in games that go long, but I only got to cast it once (to hit 2 Tarmogoyf), and I've yet to cast the Dawn half (but I've only been playing the deck for about 5 days).
The board has a lot of answers for Eldrazi Tron, but I didn't end up facing that matchup. I do like the 4 Spreading Seas plan quite a bit, because it helps you get around Cavern of Souls naming Eldrazi. I like to have a handful of narrow and powerful counterspells in the board as one-ofs so I can bring them in when they're good. That way I don't ever have dead counter-magic in the deck.
Hey everyone, I am looking for advice from anyone who has a decent amount of experience with Jeskai Control, specifically the 4 of version below. I am picking this deck up finally... I have been building into the expensive cards for a while now. I need advice with side boarding which has always been my downfall in this format. I know the format is incredibly diverse so I would like to post my MB and a few of the more popular decks I see at my LGS and if anyone would be kind enough to suggest which cards should be the first to cut and suggest some sideboard options against that archetype I would greatly greatly appreciate it.
The decks I most see at my LGS and would appreciate advice on:
Dredge
Counters Company
Bant Eldrazi/Eldrazi Tron
Jund/Abzan Mindrange
Grixis Control/Shadow
Burn
Bogles
Merfolk
I haven't been able to test as much as I wanted due to university exams and other stuff.
But even tho I found Boros Charm amazing, Electrolyze really does help alot against Abzan Company and Queller against Eldrazi along with the suggested Spreading Seas. So I am running a more standart version of the UWR-Midrange Geist deck. I'll post my results probably next month.

Does anyone else think that Supreme Will is a great card for this deck? I've found that 3-mana Mana Leak hits a lot more things than Censor's counter mode, and the card filtering is swell. This deck can have problems finding threats and controlling the game, and Supreme Will looks like a good fixer in both categories.
I suspect three mana is just too much for a mana leak. Impulse is very good though. I don't think we want three mana mana leaks or three mana impulses but I have high hopes for standard play
Anyone tried serpent? I see some UR list with Cryptic Serpent has made some 5-0s on modo, and decided to try it in jeskai midrange together with Thought Scour, kind of similar to the "grixis control" lists. Serpent can come out turn 3 after thought scour and two other one mana spells. May be too slow, though. Needs more testing.
I haven't tryed Cryptic Serpent, however I don-t think it's my playstyle to run Though Scours and similar engines. However, does seem like a decent card, considering it dodges both Bolt, Helix and most importantly Fatal Push. While being able to make great blocking and aggression. Too bad it does not have trample or some other way of making it more worthwhile. I see it as a big creature only.

I'm seeing a lot of lists dropping Sulfur Falls for Spirebluff Canal. How have people liked this change? I'm sort of skeptical of making this swap, since I'm running the 4x list with Cryptics.
I've felt that the deck needs 2 more threats to be a bit more proactive, and Avacyn seems like it would be a good fit. Protects Spell Quellers, wraths, and doesn't require you to tap out. The only downside I can see is that it would be a liability if you had a Spell Queller on the board with an exiled spell and Avacyn somehow flips with it still alive.
I've watched Jeff Hoogland's stream with the 4x list, and he opts for 10 threats as well moving 2x Vendillion Cliques to the mainboard. That also seems ok, but I don't like that all 10 threats can be pushed/bolted.
Hi everyone, I am not sure how useful this will be as it seems like there are plenty of places to meet and discuss things with other #TeamGeist players, but I thought we could try it out.

You should try discussing the 4-of list in the Jeskai Control thread, you'll have more answers. As for Avacyn, I'm not a fan with so few creatures to protect. I'm personally considering a Torrential Gearhulk as a one of, and I have included a Secure the Wastes in my main deck. Haven't played a tournament yet, however.
You might be right about that, but that thread seems very hostile compared to this one. I haven't seen anyone yet bring up the 4x list there but there has been some discussion here on it. Most pilots of the deck have labeled it Jeskai midrange but I can take the discussion elsewhere if need be.
T-hulk is a good suggestion. It might be a better creature to help protect Quellers through flashing back Cryptics.
It's been a while since I've played this deck, but when I did I approached the Eldrazi matchups by having AV+Supreme Verdict in the sideboard and morph into a Jeskai Control deck. It was still unfavorable, but winnable. Also, I played the Flash version with Blade Splicer instead of Geist, which I think is slightly better here.
