@brinkoman -- cool deck idea. Would the mantis riders be better if they were geist of saint traft instead? I might give this a try on mtgo.
Having moved from Jeskai to Grixis myself, one of the things I really miss from jeskai is how Geist of Saint Traft avoids removal and can take some games, most of the time is easier to keep the board clear of blockers for geist than keep a Tasigur or Gurmag safe from removal

I agree with the two posters above. Geist of Saint Traft is a big reason I stick with Jeskai. Mainly because I came back to the game in Innistrad and have loved Delver and Geist ever since, but I love tempo as well. He can win games by himself. As modern becomes more and more about creatures and decks pack more creature removal, Geist just keeps getting better. As long as the removal is targeted and not sacrifice spells.
I am really looking forward to the UR manland and for any low CMC cards with the surge mechanic in oath of the gatewatch. If they do print a playable UR manland and even one modern playable surge spell, the Jeskai Delver decks could see some major upgrades. That would be great.
Ronyx- Geist is calling.... follow his voice back to jeskai :).
My contention with Geist is that one creature on board makes him unable to swing and if we don't have Path we're often just trading or not swinging. Mantis Rider swings the turn he comes down and evades. Not saying he is unquestionably better, he isn't, but in the current meta of Anglers and Tasigurs he might be.
Whirler Rogue as a top end might change that though. Thassa did the same work as Rogue though, allowed a scry and was really hard to remove and very few played her.
I think I like Geist just as much as Mantis. After running with Mantis so far, I found that more often than not he'd just get bolted. Paying 3 for a creature to get bolted never feels good. I also have the feeling that as soon as I switch to Geist I'll face a bunch of decks that put creatures on the board right away
The deck is fun and fresh. I can usually swing games pretty hard with a timely command, but I've also found that some games it's a non-impactful 4 mana spell. Once people see it once they are more prepared for it. It's great to counter a creature and bring back a Young Pyromancer. Sometimes I just bring back a creature and draw end of turn only to get the creature bolted again. It also isn't often that I have enough mana to bring back a snap and play something off of it.
All in all, it is pretty fun and can take people by surprise. Moving from Grixis, it is awesome to be able to gain life off of Helixes and Commands.
Is there a place for SFM in case it would be unbanned? Can 18 lands support SFM, Batterskull and one Sword? I play UWR Patriot/Stoneblade in Legacy and it would be great to have a viable Modern version.

I have tried testing it in my jeskai Prowess list. It is definitely possible, but you do have to lean a bit more midrangy because SFM is a slightly slower card. I have found a creatures suite of Delver, Abbot, SFM, Snapcaster, and possibly Jace, Vryn's Prodigy works amazing with Ojutai's Command. Every command becomes a value machine when you flash these creatures back. However, the deck may be better just dropping delver all together. I haven't done enough testing to decide one way or the other, but I think a Jeskai Delver Stoneblade list would definitely be a viable strategy if/when SFM is unbanned.
Pizzap- I have not tried exhaustion yet, but I will be giving it a try. From the sounds of it, the card would be nearly a time walk. The only problem I forsee is the casting cost, but a deck with Young P or Monastery Mentor that plays a slightly slower game could definitely utilize this card. Cool idea and I can't wait to give it a try.
That looks pretty good (still personally not a fan of Young Pyromancer, but it seems to be working well). I might replace Dispel with Spell Pierce though. Also, I see that you gave up on Boros Charm.

Hi Valanarch. It's been awhile. This isn't my list, just a list I found. I agree with you about Young Pyromancer. I'm not a huge fan of that card in modern as well. I too run Spell Pierce in my main board over dispel. I'm still running my trusty one of Boros Charm in my Jeskai Delver/Prowess list, but I have had thoughts of cutting it lately. I haven't been seeing many sweepers lately so it basically is a four damage spell. I am also still running two Emerge Unscatheds that you mentioned a couple of years back.
This deck looks like an interesting deck. It has the aggressive delver, geist, pyromancer package with probe, visions, thought scour and then it has the more midrange monastery mentor, electrolyze, mana leak. There are very few late game cards with mentor being the biggest card that sticks out. I actually prefer my tempo/aggressive decks to have a few late game cards so I like this build even though I haven't had great luck with mentor in a delver build yet.

I personally never ran the lategame cards, but I haven't had much luck with Monastery Mentor either. Hopefully we'll see an SFM unban so this is playable again (Though I'll totally have to sell most of my cards to afford the SFM's after the inevitable price spike. I'm just not willing to risk buying a card that I think has almost no shot of being unbanned.)

That is what i'm thinking as well. Ojutai's Command synergizes really well and if we are going midrange we can even use Restoration Angel. Land count may need to be upped a bit and without Ponder/Brainstorm, Delver will be harder to flip and may need to be dropped entirely but that will be a totally different achetype. So I guess now we are looking into Jeskai Midrange in case of an SFM unban.

I might stick with Restoration Angel instead of Ojutai's Command as a 4-drop for a WUR Stoneblade deck. Restoration Angel+Stoneforge Mystic and Snapcaster Mage is still amazing.

SFM certainly will spike if Wizards does unban it, but they've announced it as the 2016 GP promo, so it shouldn't cost you much more than $100 for the play set. (I hope!)

It will probably be closer to $100/card. I still doubt that it will be unbanned though. Maybe in 2017.
Griselbrand's GP promo shows that, if SFM is unbanned, it probably at max increase by $10 in value, as the GP promos will satisfy most of the new demand. Also, if SFM is unbanned in 2016, the GP organisers will have to increase the prices of their events.
Well. The UR manland is interesting. It's a bit pricey to activate and a bit weird to attack with. I don't think it's the best choice unless your running a more control version in which case you might just want Colonnade instead. I won't be too negative until I test it a bit more, but I was a bit underwhelmed when I first saw it. What do you all think about Wandering Furmrole in Jeskai Delver?
I can't imagine anyone playing it in anything remotely aggressive. It costs too much to activate, and is either powerful or safe, but it can't really be both.
It also comes in to play tapped, which isn't something this deck can really handle. I would definitely pass on this one.
Also, I'm sorry to say this, but celestial colonnade is certainly more powerful, and only costs one mana ore to activate. Still,CWandering Fumarole is certainly interesting. I think this deck can't handle tapping down five lands though.
