Nah, ive played Grixis it's a REALLY different deck. 4 probes and 3-4 scours are huge. Tasigur is a very different threat from geist. you can make a similiar list but my version atleast is really different.
EDIT : some UWR lists are similiar, but mine is very different, I think it's the better young pyromancer deck, but I think we're the better delver deck.

Played a few matches with Gul_Dukat tonight on Cockatrice with my RUG Delver list and never dropped a match. Not sure how we can claim that UWR is the better Delver deck if it's just not putting up results. Is anyone in this thread putting up results? I admittedly just dabble here; don't think I could leave my Goyfs alone, and not having pressure until turn 3 a lot of the time really doesn't sit right with me. I know I've been doing well with RUG at local events like PPTQs, and the Grixis lists have been showing numbers at bigger tournaments like SCG IQs. Not putting anyone or anything down here, just wondering if there have been any statistical developments for the Geist deck.
Also: many Grixis Delver lists abandoned Young Pyromancer since he's worse than a Zombie Fish most of the time.
the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.
I haven't been able to attend any large events with my list yet, but I will be going to alot this summer.

It's sad but due to the increasing economical crisis in my country, the only LGS in my city had to close, and most people are turning to commander, so the little testing I get with my list is online or with the few friends who still play modern, so for the moment my testing is very limited... so far the only solid information I have is that my matchup against abzan has improved a lot.

Until Zendikar fetches get reprinted and I get some Scalding Tarns and Arid Mesas, all my games with WUR Delver are just kitchen table and playtesting.

Only a few people have been dropping YP in the Grixis thread; mostly just you and Spooly advertising it. And the results have mostly had YP in them. Not to say that the pure delve lists are bad (they're not), but I think your biases may be speaking a bit here.
Has anyone sided in Kor Firewalker against Grixis Delver? It seems decent against a deck where the main creature removal are Lightning Bolt or Terminate, or they have to waste a Murderous Cut and Tasigur food for it.
Kor firewalker isnt as good against Grixis delver as it was vs UR delver, since it kept swiftspear and elementals in check. It is certainly a possibility to be used against it, but it can still get killed by a cut, tasigur, or a snapcaster.

molten rain is alot better imo, since it actually cuts them off mana, flips delver and stuff. I prefer blood moon to both but I know how you feel about the moon.
Scapeshift doesn't really care if you make their land an island and its decent against junk but getting rid of an actual land is better

I keep going back and forth between Spreading Seas and Molten Rain. Molten Rain might be better for midrange decks since it's also a way to slow them down in addition to mana screw.
20 lands are alot, do you ever find yourself getting flooded alot? I would try and run a probe or two for pz and friend.
if I ran a 20th land it would probably be a 1 of mutavault or celestial colonade

Meh, I think 20 is all right. Ideally, you want to get to at least 4 lands to be able to cast multiple spells or to flash in Snapcaster to cast a flashbacked Remand or Helix. Also, check out this guy's list. He is running Aether Vials in his list which allows him to flash in Snapcaster for 1 mana as well as Young Pyromancer or Monastery Mentor on the opponent's turn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb2q5R8i_20
Though his sideboard choices and manabase is questionable.

Interesting for certain to use vial, but i feel we don't have enough creatures to get the most utility out of it, don't get me wrong i love the idea of flashing in a mentor and bolting a dude to get a monk, but it seems counter intuitive with delver for flipping, also not a fan of his sideboard like you said. Vial may warrant some testing, but it is a dead top deck for later in the game.

Shouta Yasooka made the semifinals of the 2012 Player's Championship with this list, which ran 4 Aether Vial and only 13 creatures. If I'm not mistaken, that's less than this YouTube guy runs?

Thats true, i see your point there. But like i said, i does warrant some testing, but its just a bad top deck in my opinion.
What do people think about cutting Geist for Clique and Restoration Angel? There's a lot of BGx Rock running around so Geist is kinda bad. This is what I'm thinking.

Restoration angel is a fine replacement for it if you have plenty of rock decks around, i don't like vendillion clique as a replacement though, dies to 1 lingering soul and also abrupt decay, i would put in mantis rider over it since he has haste and wrecks lingering souls up. Although he dies to decay, i find it a fair trade.

This guy plays WUR Geist and sided in Kor Firewalker against Grixis Delver. It gained him so much life and allowed him to chump block Young Pyromancer's tokens.
