MTG Salvation

long time ago, in 2001, i've played my first chatter of the squirrel, and then, the love for the squirrel never ended.

I'm trying to create a modern "competitive" deck with the squirrel nest, dryad arbor and intruder alarm infinite combo.
I've added idyllic tutor to facilitate the searching of the two main enchantments, and arbor elf if dryad arbor hyde and seek in the deck. The blue spells helps to counter and gaining a couple of turn to set the combo.

I have a couple of doubts about the lands.

Not an infinite combo but Deranged Hermit + Opposition/Phyrexian Plaguelord/Skyshroud Poacher is an oldie but a goodie.

New squirrels came out for your deck, and are pretty sweet.

Yeah, I’ve seen it. It’s incredible!!! But they are quite distant from the combo deck idea

Drift of Phantasms is better than Idyllic Tutor to search for Intruder Alarm because it is in-color and almost incounterable.
If necessary, it can also be used as a chump-blocker.

While not a squirrel if you are wanting to put infinite power and toughness into play with intruder alarm then Sprout Swarm is your best bet. Don't need all that Dryad arbor, nest combo either. If you want squirrels then just add a ChatterFang, Squirrel General to the mix and there ya go.
Deranged Hermit isn't in modern but we do have Deep Forest Hermit. This combined with Alarm allows you to go infinite with SS BTW.

I'd also agree that the wall is better than tutor in this deck. Not only can it tutor the alarm or the nest, but it can also tutor for the general. As well as force Incase you want protection while going off... Or can be pitched to force if you already have it.

with the new cards you can also go Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen for infinite squirrels
