hey,
didn´t know about this bridgevine version! maybe it's the stronger deck in modern. more lineal and that a bit interactive. Dont know if cabal therapist is strong enough for modern
Well Goblin Bombardment is in a whole other level than mayhem devil. It is by far harder to remove and is an sac outlet by itself.
I owned legacy zombardment and played it a lot and cabal therapist and the devil don't even come close to the power of the legacy cards which made the deck strong at the time.
Edit: although with the printing of carrion feeder to modern this still gets a boost

Yeah, but it's really more "Disney Evil" than practical. It's like being a bond villain and giving a monologue rather then just shooting them.
If you want to play on MTGO add me I'm HeskatetAS, playing Modern and Legacy
I'm having fun with it. Beat Grixis Control and Tron in queues so it's not completely toothless, but it's not Hoogak or Urza. And yet, who knows, it may develop into something good eventually.
How is it dead? Because of the looting ban? Slowed down the deck, but at the same time it slowed down the entire format. You can probably still play just use reunion in place of looting.
Not understanding your point. So what about the bridge combo? Hasn't really done much, besides hogaak and this deck doesn't run any bridge combo in it anyways.
To know if a deck is dead it takes work. First replace looting with what you feel is the best replacement. Then play some games against stoneforge decks, UW control, burn, tron, jund, and possibly counters company. If you can do okay against them then the deck isn't dead. Just saying it is because a certain card got banned is foolish. The only decks that died from the bannings were actually bridge decks and hogaak decks. Because the namesake card got ripped out. Banning an engine card is like banning Summer Bloom from Amulet Titan.... is that deck dead?
I brewed up a modern zombardement list for modern;
With printing of carrion feeder and the cabal therapist
and the ravnicas mayhem devil as goblin bombardement replacement it might be viable. judith, the scourge diva might be also be viable. buffs flyers but dont trigger the fetchlands and so on)
Here is a rough decklist:
4 Marsh Flats
1 Godless Shrine
4 Swamp
4 Stitcher's Supplier
4 Gravecrawler
4 Carrion Feeder
4 Lingering Souls
4 Faithless Looting
3 Mayhem Devil
4 Bloodstained Mire
2 Blood Crypt
1 Sacred Foundry
2 Gurmag Angler
4 Cabal Therapist
2 Bitterblossom
4 Thoughtseize
1 Mountain
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
sorry, for not sorting out. dont have time right now for this.. ^^
what do you think? might have trouble in the meta right now because of grave hate, but seems like a fun deck to me
