So yesterday I was looking at a fun card to play around with and I wanted to see if anyone has played around with it or even thought about it. So the card is indomitable creativity, I thought it be a great way to flash emarakul in cheap and i believe you can do it on turn 3 or 4 pretty easily. I know this is a combo deck, probably need a lot of card draw, discarding abilities for just in case you get something stuck in your hand, so then I thought Demigod of Revenge would be a interesting card too in the deck. So basically you make a token deck, sac them with indomitable creativity to play your big fatties. My issue last night was I couldn't think of fast enough to make this happen.
Yeah I can see that, I have been tinkering with the deck some more, nahiri could help with getting emrakul out. Demigod is fine but won't trigger if brought in by indomitable creativity. I wonder if a jeskai build is the way to go and treat a jeskai token deck and play indomitable creativity as another win condition.
One could always switch over to Snow-covered mountains and replace Bolt with Skred. The Blood Moons could come out for something else, maybe more looting like Wild Guess. It could be 4 total Koths instead of 2/2 Koth/Chandra. It may need another big bad as well as Emrakul. I've proxied it up and tested it a few hands. Very fragile. It can combo off as soon as turn 2 except Emrakul doesn't have haste and you don't get an extra turn. Gotten it to combo a couple of times in limited testing. Something like Burst of Speed or Mass Hysteria could be in order over Blood Moon. Its fun but feels fragile and janky the way I've built it. Will keep an eye on this thread.

In my opinion Indomitable Creativity can work well as copies 5-8x of Polymorph or Shape Anew respectively, thus making those decks more consistent through redundancy.
I think polymorph would work so, shape anew is a little awkward because if you want to play imdomitable creativity then you don't really want to run artifacts.
I'm reworking into a UR version with Polymorph. I may also be popping in Saheeli Rai over Chandra. Saheeli can copy an Emrakul and that copy has haste. Also she could copy a token in a pinch. I will put up the reworked list this evening.

I know the idea is to get emrakul, but I feel like with the Indomitable creativity, its a shame we can't exploit the ability to destroy multiple tokens to get more than one creature.
yeah I think jeskai is probably the best colors to work with, I just felt black added better ways to control the board till you can get what you need to combo out and better ways to get emarakul out of your hand like collective brutality. jeskai ascendancy could help with a another win condition is needed and there is room, maybe run two of them.
I think xenagos is just too cute, I think we just need one emarakul and then token generators
Mana base may not be correct yet. Not sure on correct number of Izzet Charms, Lootings and Visions each. Sideboard is still up in the air. I'm wanting to run Worldspine Wurm in the SB as a replacement for Emrakul game 2 or 3. Maybe even popping it in the MB as well. Saheeli copying Wurm giving a 15/15 hasty trampler which then proceeds to die and give you 3 5/5 tokens in its place AND the original still on board seems fun. A couple of other cards I'm keeping in mind are Boseiju, Who Shelters All and Spawning Breath. Both could have their uses. Boseiju to ensure the Creativity/Polymorph goes off. Breath for an instant speed token and to ping a 1 toughness attacker on opponents turn. Will have to proxy it up and give it some runs for fun.

A card I like is Infernal Plunge since you naturally have a ton of token generators and they aren't going to be doing much. In this deck it is essentially a red Dark Ritual and ramps insanely hard.
Another card I've seen only mentioned once is Boseiju, Who Shelters All. You are going to be tapping out most of the time to cast Indomitable Creativity/Polymorph unless it is really late in the game so having some way to ward off counterspells is good.
The lists I've thought of are usually UW for the Nahiri package as mentioned before, but UR gives access to redundancy with Polymorph. Overall the cards are weak to removal which is a big problem, so perhaps even playing black for some discard to make sure the coast is clear is the best call. This would allow the deck to be more glass-cannon like Grishoalbrand. I haven't thought much about that though.
Thanks for the shout out on Boseiju. Not sure how many to run though. In my list you could cut Khalni Gardens for however many. Not sure I would want to go 3 color, it would give greater resiliency but at a cost of quickness and consistency I think. I could be wrong of course.
I've thought about Infernal Plunge. Problem is sacking the token from Khalni Garden ruins the sac for Creativity. I'd like the deck to be able to combo as early as turn 2 with a Khalni Garden, Red Source, Ritual, Ritual, Creativity. It can't combo turn 2 with Polymorph as my version stands, but could turn 3. Sure wish there was a blue Khalni Garden out there. Thanks for the insights though. I will keep them in mind.

Been doing a little playtesting. Combos on turn 3 or 4 more times than I thought. In about 1/2 of my games played so far in limited testing (10 games). Problem is it can lose to Burn by turn 4 and it is vulnerable to hand disruption. Saheeli Rai is a little too cute for the deck. Think I will up the Serum Visions count to 4, add in an extra Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and maybe a copy of Spawning Breath or Brood Birthing. Once your opponent figures out the tokens are the key to the combo, they don't live long. Which brings up another point, the tokens are weak to Night of Souls' Betrayal and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. I may need to go back to Koth of the Hammer for his +1 ability to turn a Mountain into a 4/4 creature. I'm also curious about Devastating Summons. It could have a place in the 60. More testing is needed and sideboard needs a lot of thought and work too. Sure is fun on a turn three Emmy though.

Still way glass cannon. Works greats turn 3 or 4 many a game, misses some pieces others. The tokens really are critical to have to combo off. Spawning Breath is a nice upgrade. Sideboard is still up in the air but it will need some blue bounce for sure and maybe some counter. Also needs a way to get a bigger token than a 1/1. Koth may be in the side as well as Devastating Summons. Side 15 needs some other big baddies as well. Another Emrakul and new Emrakul, maybe Griselbrand, Worldspine Wurm, Platinum Emperion or Elesh Norn. Will keep tinkering.

I know 3 colors aren't ideal but the card blisterpod, would that speed things up or if green is added, then wood nissa, voice of zendikar? Sorry I have been out of town this weekend but I am glad this deck idea is getting some playtesting.
I'm reworking into a UR version with Polymorph. I may also be popping in Saheeli Rai over Chandra. Saheeli can copy an Emrakul and that copy has haste. Also she could copy a token in a pinch. I will put up the reworked list this evening.
Imo Polymorph for redundancy is the way to go. It also gives access to U filtering in addition to R filtering which is great if we're going the glass cannon route. We also probably need Pact of Negation or another counter card to circumvent our weakness to counter magic.
Other solutions to contermagic. Autumn's Veil - not good for the deck, since it's going a third color for what's probably going to be just one card. Boseiju, Who Shelters All is a colorless anti counter, but comes into play tapped. Bound // Determined Simic side prevents countering, but another third color. Silence also protects the combo, but another third color. However it opens up for Supreme Verdict to gain time against creature decks. Also it prevents creature removal which may screw with our whole plan. Vexing Shusher is great in the artifact version, because it does what we need and is on color. And it blocks! But it's atrocious in the creature version. Guttural Response may be exactly what we're looking for, but costs 1 more mana contrary to Boseiju. That's one turn you may die during.
If we go artifacts, we should abuse the Clue mechanic since it's an easy way into it. Thraben Inspector comes to mind splashing white for Supreme Verdict
I like the emrakul concept, but what if we went the route of destroying artifacts to bring back more artifacts into play. For example the aether revolt set came out with the implement artifacts, when they are put in the graveyard you draw a card,or add myr retriever to bring something back an artifact back to your hand. I am just saying maybe there is another way to add advantage to our hand besides just looking at getting a emrakul our soon as possible?
I will stick to cheating out Emmy or another game changer.
I do like the thought of Guttural Response. May wedge it in the SB. Pact of Negation could be a no go since you may not have the mana to pay for it next turn, Emmy doesn't win you the game when she drops. Haven't pulled off a turn 2 Emmy yet, but I have pulled off a turn 3 Emmy a small handful of times in limited testing (about 15 games). Lacking Haste does hurt. Not sure what I would take out for a card like Mass Hysteria though. I like the Izzet Charms as Faithless Looting 5 & 6, but maybe they could. I'm sure I'm limiting myself with only 2 colors but cheating out Emmy seems to be the sole purpose right now. When it works, its awesome. When it doesn't, oof.
Dream Scenario:
T1: Khalni Garden, get token
T2: R land drop, Ritual, Ritual, Creativity (sac token), Emrakul.
T3: Kill 6 permnanents, attack for 15 Hopefully opponent scoops.
Hopefully we aren't playing Jund and we are on the draw because a turn 3 Lily -2 sends Emmy off to the GY and shuffled back in.
And also hopefully we aren't playing GX Tron and we are on the draw because a tun 3 Karn sends Emmy packing as well.

Here is the deck idea that I had at first
4 desperate ritual
4 manamorphose
4 faithless looting
3 lightning axe
3 lightning bolt
4 Dragon fodder
4 krenko's command
2 nissa, voice of zendikar
2 chandra, torch of defiance
Engine
4 indomitable creativity
1 emrakil, the aeons torn
4 demigod of revenge
4 khalni garden
4 stomping ground
4 wooded foothills
3 bloodstained mire
6 mountain
Maybe this concept belongs if a skred shell or possibly adding blue for drawing power. Let me know what you think.
4 Khalni Garden
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
4 Indomitable Creativity
3 Blood Moon
2 Koth of the Hammer
2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
4 Lightning Bolt
2 Magma Jet
4 Dragon Fodder
4 Krenko's Command
4 Desperate Ritual
4 Pyretic Ritual
4 Faithless Looting

(and Blinkmoth Nexus for backup).
It would need to be a Jeskai-colored deck.
I was thinking something like a grixis version, I haven't playtested it but this is something I am looking at
3 Izzet Charm
4 Mana Leak
2 Spell Pierce
Creature (2)
2 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
Sorcery (23)
3 Collective Brutality
4 Dragon Fodder
3 Indomitable Creativity
2 Inquisition of Kozilek
2 Krenko's Command
4 Polymorph
3 Serum Visions
2 Thoughtseize
3 Bitterblossom
Land (23)
2 Blackcleave Cliffs
1 Blood Crypt
1 Bloodstained Mire
2 Creeping Tar Pit
1 Darkslick Shores
2 Island
1 Mountain
4 Polluted Delta
4 Scalding Tarn
1 Spirebluff Canal
1 Steam Vents
1 Swamp
2 Watery Grave

But it will only work with Indomitable Creativity x=2 and not with Polymorph as hitting only Xenagos isn't good.
Overall Polymorph seems easier to build around than Shape Anew.
White has so many good token generation options like:
Raise the Alarm/Gather the Townsfolk/Secure the Wastes, Timely Reinforcements/Even the Odds, Midnight Haunting/Spectral Procession, Gideon, Ally of Zendikar/Elspeth, Knight-Errant
so I'd probably like the deck to be Jeskai.
I think xenagos is just too cute, I think we just need one emarakul and then token generators
2 Wooded Foothills
2 Flooded Strand
4 Steam Vents
4 Spirebluff Canal
2 Mountain
1 Island
4 Khalni Garden
4 Indomitable Creativity
4 Polymorph
3 Saheeli Rai
2 Izzet Charm
4 Dragon Fodder
4 Krenko's Command
4 Desperate Ritual
4 Pyretic Ritual
4 Faithless Looting
3 Serum Visions
