I still feel the deck might be a bit lacking. Catch // Release is our catch all. Hopefully Catch // Release, Smallpox, Fatal Push, Yahenni's Expertise and Inquisition of Kozilek should be enough to keep us in the game. Once we start going having all the best card draw in modern, Ancestral Vision and Beck // Call should keep the good card flowing. Snapcaster Mage for some flexabilaty if we need a clone of a card in the gravyard.
Only 24 lands, but Ichor Wellspring should be able to help with getting to 24 lands.
Suggestions are welcome. I really think smallpox can work good here.

I have dyslexia, no I am not going to spell check for you, yes you have to live with the horrors of it.
Thank you genini2, that is a good cath! Perhaps I should switch to 4 catch release and 3 beck call. I already have 4 ancestral visions in there. And Yahenni's can also cast ancestral if I do not suspent it turn one.
I am conserned I will not survive til I get to 4 mana, or can activate brain in a jar 2/3 times.

Why do you want to cast an artifact just to remove it? Seems like having the minimum amount of permanent types would be the best way to play it since that means it will hurt them more than you. Just run the red and or white expertise card instead of jar?
Realistically, how does smallpox help? It seems awfully symmetrical in your list. We're a control deck, so if we're playing smallpox, it's got to be in a list that doesn't care about its downsides.

Smallpox is a very good card if they play creatures. Catch // release i smallpox 5-8, but if they do not run any non land permanents i get to kill 2 of their lands.
With 4 acestrasl visions and 4 beck call i should come out on topp on card advantage. The opponent should be burned to the ground and left with no resources.

I guess that he does not want to sacrifice his Brain in a Jar so he needs other artefacts to target

Preferably the turn after they play a creature, while they stil have one card in hand. Manadorks, goblin guide, taramagoyf, glistener elf. It really works quite well with all of them except lingering souls, kitchen finks and voice of resugerncy.
Inquesition can sett up a good play as well, and you get to know their hand.
Turn 1: Suspend Ancestral Vision, Inquesition or Fatal Push.
Turn 2: Brain in a Jar, Mycolot Wellspring, or smallpox if they have a creature.
As the game progresses you should be able to resolve an suspended ancestral vision, an acestral vision via yahennie's expertise, or one of the fuse cards off expertise or brain in the jar. From that point on you will likly be pulling away from the oponent through raw resources alone.

You use smallpox to exhaust resources on both sides of the table.
They do completly different things.
I'm aware of this, but using smallpox to mainly deal with creatures seems like a underwhelming use of the card. Exhausting resources symmetrically is generally only good in very specific control decks that operate well on one land and with cards in their graveyard. The trick with cards like smallpox is not making its effects less relevant on you, but making them beneficial to you.
Control hates playing against smallpox because it makes it hard to stop pressure and respond to threats.
Decks that play smallpox are generally built around it, because it's a very powerful card but hard to make useful.

I think it are underestimating Ancestral Vision into Smallpox. Pox delays the game, slowing things down to ensure you don't fall behind while you're waiting to draw those extra cards.
Personally, I love this brew. Nice innovation OP. I'm gonna test some lists and provide feedback
I can't help but feel like Kari Zev's Expertise would be better than Yahenni. I guess then it wouldn't be able to cast Catch/Release though. I'm gonna try replacing Catch with Kari rather than run both. Kari into Smallpox is just nasty. And without catch, she can cast just about any other card in the deck.
Funral God, I appreciate your take. Kari Zev's Expertise on it's worn seems weak, but It is quite good with Beck // Call and Vision. I do not think that deck supports smallpox so well, but we will se. I do like Kari Zev's Expertise with smallpox. Card drawing in a: vision + smallpox means you will get more cards then your oponent, while snapcast mage can function as smallpox 5 and 6. Nice.
Caleb Dunwald at channelfireball did a nice blue white controll deck with brain and beck // call to some minor suckess.
Personally I have had a lott of suckess with this deck:
I have mannaged to beat affinaty quite consistantly, as well as landfall rallier. 2 Good agro decks. Other modern decks have also proven posetive, but I need more time playtesting it.
I lost to a random bloodmoon, so I can say the deck needs more work on the manabase. Anything that can increase consistancy, like Temple of Silence, would make the deck better I think. I am not sure how important the flagstones or shambling vents are. They have both been relevant, but this deck really wants the scry.
Shambling vents have helped pulling me out of burn range after having starting resolving the good spells. Flagstone means I survive smallpox and katch release more.
I am really cruius about how Tron, infect and the jund matchup is.

There's a lot of power behind Kari Zev's Expertise into smallpox. Being able to take control of a creature and then sac it is awesome. Be careful using it though, Yahenni's or Sram's is much better in a vacuum. If you or your opponent doesn't control a creature you can't cast it without it fizzling. The latter two, while more expensive, are also more reliable. If you want to run Kari Zev's I would in the sideboard, or you can alter your list to include more creatures so you can be more consistent.

I am looking for good artifacts to sacrefice to Catch // Release. I can think of Ichor Wellspring and Mycosynth Wellspring but something on 0 or 1 mana would be nice.

4 Yahenni's Expertise
4 Beck // Call
