So i came up with a pretty cool idea for a Storm-ish deck using artifacts and definitely thought you fine people would be able to help me take it that much further. I would like to know what you guys think firstly, nevermind in current modern meta, and maybe ways to make it either more consistent or faster!

Mox Opal could easily make you go off a turn faster but it's not very budget friendly. Serum Visions could smooth out draws and set up your combo. Greater Gargadon is a sac outlet for your artifacts that's hard to stop and can even be a backup kill condition if it comes off suspend. One or two Day's Undoing could let you refuel your hand after dumping a bunch of artifacts and probably go off the next turn, though that is riskier because they get a new hand too. (Sorry that I can't link cards; I'm on the mobile site.)
Would either do what the above post suggested and put in Heartless Summoning. Probably keep in the clan works since they give you the mana bonus and help you dig.
Or I'd add in Riddlesmith. This let's you dig to your combo cards whike also letting you sub out the spheres (which are the weakest eggs in your deck.)
Basically nearly artifact you play then becomes draw 2 discard 1 in some sort of way.
New card Scrap Trawler looks like it has a place in here.
Early on each sphere or star you sac becomes a copy of bauble. Then when you play a wellspring you draw 3 cards basically. After you start your combo of retreavers you keep getting back stars or spheres to find your kill card.
battered golem or nettle drone with retraction helix. Can replay any zero cmc artifact infinite times, with both the golem and the drone out it's infinite damage.
Your probably going to want some counterspells.I had a hard time when my fabricates kept getting countered or what I tutored for was removed before it could be used.
I also found 17-18 lands worked better but that's with full sets of ornithopter and memnite.
I liked it but it was a glass cannon kinda deck, goodluck to you.
Hi friend. It looks like what you're trying to do here already exists, and has a name: Eggs. There's even a primer for it on MTGSalvation, which you can find here.
Infinite responses thanks a lot guys! i had Eggds before on which i based the deck but eggs didn't have an infite and was arduous to play, especially with the ban of Second Sunrise which made it much more viable and stable.
This was more for the infinite mill i wanted to try. i could sub out some cards to put in Heartless summoning which it was bnefore Krark-clan, though i found it relied too heavily on my myrs to trigger, in this case i dont rlly need it if i draw into a ton of artifacts and play them with a few Altars out, it mills pretty fast given the number of spells im casting per turn

Amazing find i love the card will try it out and post a modified version with it!
TTrying to figure out how to put in 2 more maps. That way you can go off turn 3. I know this reduces the chances of prism aiding in the turn 3 take off, but I'm thinking you can use the mana from stars, spehers, and rarions to get prisms out with little effort.
Also you can pseudo go off without iron works by making 10 mana or so and cycle a good bit of cards to dig to the works.
ALSO trying to figure out why mox isn't in here especially with the new scraps guy. Looks like you could play it. Tap and sac for 3 then play and sac a star or whatever to get back mox. Play it and tap and sac for more mana quickly. Kinda like you already do with citadel... Only without the whole 1 land drop per turn clause.
Ideally you would play bauble, mox, citadel. Tap 2 for prism. Turn 2 Iron works and then win. But more accurately you would play citadel, tap citadel for a sphere or star then play mox. Tap mox for another star or whatever and pass turn. Next turn do some cool stuff and turn 3 cast iron works then go off.

Its a question of budget to be honest. Trying to keep it as low cost as possible to start, maybe at some point but it'll be more for table top to start until i feel its ready for an FNM.

understand that. proxy them up though. no need to design a deck with less powerful than it can have. Maybe you'll be able to borrow them for starters. IDK but if they push it to the point of getting noticed and you don't play them while acknowledge they should be there then what have you really done here? Just saying
