I have build Golgari Eldrazi in modern and I would like to share it with you, and get some opinions from you. This deck is inspiered by bant eldrazi and it tryed to combine the good things from bant eldrazi, and bakcing it up with discard spell. The printing of Distended Mindbender is what really inspiered me. As I think it is a very good card, even for modern. Blue options follow bellow.
For budget reasons I have played 4 Elvish Mystic and 1 Misty Rainforest . But innitial testing have so far proven quite good.
With a total of 12 discard spells this deck has a much better matchup vs non interactive combo decks. Abrupt Decay and Maelstrom Pulse are much more diverse then Path to Exile, although more expensive. But with these maindeck you are much better vs pesky sideboard cards. Kitchen Finks is also very good vs burn and zoo.
We could also try to add blue for Drowner of Hope, or perhaps more exitingly Elder Deep-Fiend. Deep-Fiend tapping down the oponents mana feels to much like a time warp in a deck that already cheats a lot on speed. If more deep-fiends are added we could add more 3 drops. Cards worth considering are Eternal Witness, Catacomb Sifter, Eldrazi Skyspawner or Scion Summoner. I feel that the best cards to have for emerge creatures are without a doubt a 3 drop creature, because you can then emergy if you play a land turn 4. With 24 lands, 4 Ancient Stirrings and 5 mana dorks you have a good chance of going 3 drop into emerge.
What this deck loses by not being bant is Eldrazi Displacer, Drowner of Hope, Path to Exile and white in the sideboard. I feel like that is just playing 'winn more', while this version of the eldrazi deck can make a lot of bad matchups much better.
If anybody is better at constructing mana bases then me I would like to find room for the 2 last Cavern of Souls. Perhaps the deck should also play Birds of Paradise.
Please comment, I feel this deck is in a wonderfull state of brewing.

I have dyslexia, no I am not going to spell check for you, yes you have to live with the horrors of it.
Seems like a fun style, more disruption in the form of discard but less creatures, especially the big variety You made a comment of the manabase, wondering if BoP should be in it, but I've been enjoying the single copy of Boreal Druid because it helps with the C needed for the Eldrazi fatties, plus it can attack if needed. Good luck with this idea! Cheers
I've been finding the taps 4 permanents of deep-fiend is more relevant through out the length of the game than trying to get the turn 4 double discard.
bant colors gives you a lot of tempo and solution cards to win the game and flip the situation into your favor. but even without white, the tap down power of elder deep-fiend and drowner of hope can lock down an opponent allowing you to punch 5/5s in for the win.

Also a card that can function with the 3 drops could be Eldritch Evolution. This could allow us to get Thought-Knot Seer vs combo or grabbing Reality Smasher for a fast finish.
