With sword of the meek unbanned and all the new brews I was thinking about a RW built giving access to path to exile, lightning helix and of course lightning bolt.
By adding pia and kiran nalaar and cloudshift you can sack the sword to pia then blink it with cloudshift and double down on the token flyers, this way the combo costs the same as lingering souls but we get left with pia on the board.
If I side out rift bolt I can replace it with souls since splashing black is already done. Then there's two triggers for YP and 6 tokens instead of 3 damage and 1 token.
We can even go with souls if we splash black which would also add terminate.
There's great interactions with young pyromancer and with all the one drop spells adding grim lavamancer is valuable. bloodmoon is a great card,SB for sure,MB I don't know yet.Ive added 3 fetches and am considering thoughtseize as a 2 of.
This build looks kind of like this right now.Any ideas anyone has would be fantastic as I love community brews.
It feels like you're trying to do too much at once.
How about outlining a few sample starter hands an turn progression?
I'm not sure I understand what you want to do with Rift Bolt. Why not go for just regular Lightning Bolt instead?

Vorthos-y Johnny. All will be One
Modern - Cheeri0s (building), Belcher (building), Lantern (building), UW Control (building)
RIP Magic Duels. Wizards will regret what they did to you.
YP dump tokens from those kind of spells so using a lot of burn is cheap effective spells. All tokens produced by YP or pia have effects with SotM.The sword you sack to pia for a quick shock and return it through dumping tokens that etb.Grim lavamancer eats all the old spells and is a great recycler.
The idea is too remove any early threats and use equipped tokens and burn spells to win.
Like a burn deck it has minimal permanents and doesn't care much for life loss as this is intended to end a game fast but has a more stable top deck mode without being as vulnerable late game.
I play burn and delver usually.
So an update after a few trial runs against a few diffrent decks.
Affinity isn't that bad of a MU,i won 3 of 3.Fish I went 3 of 3 as well,UTron was 1 and two.misplay on my part mainly those games.
Path is now two ofs.Its not a card I like having two of in my hand.Replaced with 2 monastery mentor.
Pia and SotM work great together as well as the sword and souls.YP and mentor usually get snipes early on but I usually gain some value before they go.
I think I'll drop the rift bolts for 2 more souls.
For a bigger splash of black should I go more destroy or should I go discard?
This is a paper deck and is my project for next FNM.
