So i quote myself cause no answers: could be usefull to run one of mirrorpool ? Guess we could always find a way to make use of that ?
I dunno about mirrorpool, the effect seems powerful but it seems mostly like a late game effect. The etb tapped hinders our early game and our end game is already among the best in the format.
Bojuka bog is ok because it does something right away and is a needed enabler.
The question is is mirrorpool better than sea gate wreckage? Mirrorpool needs us to have a board or some spells in hand, wreckable is just gas when we are out of gas.
With Twin gone - how are all of you going to change your removal package? To adjust to the potential uptick in affinity and decks going wide, I'll be dropping to two Dismembers and adding in two Flaying Tendrils. I think I'll also completely drop the 1 Slaughter pact I was running in favor of either another sweeper or an additional dismember.

Dismember's one of my favourite removal spells in this deck but *terrible* against aggro. I think the Slaughter Pacts gotta go-- I can't think of any other decks that run them and I'm assuming there must be a reason for that.
I'm still tempted to maindeck some Night of Soul's Betrayals alongside some Warping Wails.

Ehhh - we often have three mana up and with Urborg it's free and it hits almost everything relevant. I definitely think people have been too sweeper light in their builds. Test out NOSB in the main and tell us how it goes, sounds pretty sweet tbh. I really think that going forward this deck has the tools to deal with a changing meta.

So far I find that they are too slow for the match-ups were they are great, but they enable us to play more Warping Wails, which are good against the fast decks. And the match-ups were they are bad, they make our Warping Wails better as well. It's a nifty little card.
Edit: Leyline of Sancticity is really bad for us...
What's the best answer to Tron for us? There's a lot of people who play Tron in my meta. Is it really just GQ/TE and Surgical?
you can play up to 4 Ghost quarter MD in this deck and the manabase can handle it. Alongside expedition maps and (I play) 1 Tectonic Edge MD and another Tec Edge SB, the Tron matchup is manageable.

Thanks. I feel we'll be seeing a lot more of it now that Twin and Summer Bloom have been banned.
I'm also thinking SB Pithing Needle for Karn and Ugin.
@Overmaster, no sideboard yet. I will have one eventually. I do not know what the deck is weak to as of yet. I'm also looking for a reasonable way to handle burn. Jund has Finks and Ooze to some extent. I need (?) some sort of life gain...
Is Whip of Erebos too slow? If so, Vampiric Link might be the best option, though it's not great. Sun Droplet is always a fall back option as well.

Suffer the past...
Crypt Incursion and Tomb of the Spirit Dragon are both pretttty sweet.
By the way, how have people been finding the Infect matchup? In the 5-6 games I've played thus far I've only lost one. This is pre-OGW cards but still doesn't seem as bad as advertised. Certainly not as bad as Elves or Affinity.
Having played Boil in Tron for a while, I find it really seldom does anything relevant to them. They have non-Island blue sources and Aether Vials. I'm still working the matchup out myself yet.
Have you come to a conclusion on Reshaper vs Strangler? I do think the Reshaper card draw CAN be pretty sweet (especially if you draw into a land) but Strangler is also awesome in aggro matchups like Infect and Merfolk. Perhaps a split is correct?
What about Reality Smasher? This guy is pure gas... I'm thinking of running him as a 3 or 4 of and running a 3/2/2 TKS/Sower/Herd split or something.
The thing I've found with Strangler against aggro is that even if I have it, I'm often missing some way to get a card into their exile zone to process for it. Many creature based aggro decks just put cards on the field, so I need both a Relic and a removal in order to make Strangler work. On the other hand I almost always get value from a Reshaper aside from the oddball case with Path to Exile. Whether it be a removal spell, a land/relic which I can put directly into play, or a threat, Reshaper's ability to replace itself is really useful. I really think Strangler works best in BW builds that run Path to Exile. In Monoblack, I just too often get no value out of Strangler. I think in order to make Strangler work in Monoblack you need to be running a minimum of 6 relic effects and removal/discard spells to get anywhere near consistent value out of it.
Also, I think Mind Stone might be just straight up better than Expedition Map now. Here's a few reasons why:
- Unlike other versions of the deck we generally run more copies of our Sol lands which makes drawing them easier.
- Expedition Map takes your turn 1 play (over something more relevant like Relic or discard) and your turn 2 play to crack it. With Mind Stone, you can spend your first turn casting Relic/discard, and then your second turn playing Mind Stone.
- Mind Stone is actually ramp, whereas Expedition map is not. It can possibly provide us with more explosive plays than map while allowing us to interact with our opponents.
- Later when we no longer need the extra mana, we can cycle it for an extra card draw to dig for more threats/removal.
I honestly can't say to much about Smasher though. I haven't tested him enough.

The only problem with Reshaper is he doesn't really put a lot into play. Liliana in some lists, but by design our decklist plays mostly 4, 5, and 6 drop spells that the Reshaper whiffs on. I guess you might put a Mind Stone or a Relic into play but that's basically a whiff in itself. Yes, I'm aware that you get to draw the card either way, but a 3/2 for 3 that draws a card when it dies isn't exactly jaw-dropping. Even a 3/2 for 2 that does that is a little on the meh side.
I think you're right about Strangler as well, I'm just not impressed by Reshaper either.
Hi guys! I decided to cut the combo part of the deck (Relic/Processor/Mindstones) and went a bit bigger, faster, more aggro with more land destruction. I am trying out new cards that seem to naturally fit. The 'nut' draws are insane and it has play top and bottom.
Mimic; Nice little 2 drop, will probably die but he can trade or if he lives is a great shock attack with Reality Smasher (all star!). Also need some small card synergy with Matter Reshaper (into Lily?! Dream land!) There are 12 small targets and a whiff means you simply draw a card (not the end of the world).
TN Seer is just too good. What more could you want from a magic card? Conduit of Ruin makes our next plays easier, and is card neutral. Lots of hand destruction + Lily (the Expeditions are probably necessary to cast her?). And of course, how could I leave the Great ones at home? It might not be correct to play them, but too fun for me not to try. And I am totally fine getting crushed by Affinity, Go For the Throat is too sweet for 1B.

4 go for the throat seems bad after bans, pretty sure tron and affinity is gonna be everywere, I think dismember is our main board removal I play a single gfft out the board and that was mainly for twins spellskites.

This origami dream is beautiful, but man those wings will never leave the ground, without a feather and a lottery ticket, now settle down. -Aesop Rock
I am liking Kolaghan's Command in the sideboard of shadowgripper's RB Processors list. 2 maindeck is great because it is situational and not ideal in an opening hand but against Affinity (Probably one of our worst match-ups) it's the exact play you want at turn 3. Massively blows them out. The only thing I like more than Kolaghan's Commands in the side is Ratchet Bombs.
Now although I find the Affinity match-up tolerable, I HATE our odds against Tron and against Leyline of Sancticity. The red splash is great but we really miss our Ghost Quarters, and splashing white gives us at least Stony Silence and enchantment removal.
