Many of you know that in 2005 there was a Deck named "Ghazi Glare" played by Katsuhiro Mori. It is a GW heavy Creature Deck that features the card Glare of Subdual. The plan was to overwhelm the opponent with those creatures. The Glare was an Allstar in that Deck.
What would such a Deck look like in Modern though ?
i put some thought in it & built this:
4x noble hierarch Turn 1 play, mana-acceleration, good with Glare & Township. Nothing to ask
4x birds of paradise Same
2x Nest Invader 2 creatures in 1 spell & its even more mana acceleration
3x qasali pridemage This is only for the artifact/enchantment removal-opportunity in the Deck
4x Voice of Resurgence That Dude is a very safe play, a decent attacker & becomes huge with the rest of the Deck
4x Blade Splicer Another 2 bodies in 1 spell.
3x Brimaz, King of Oreskos This card is good on its own & even has a synergy with the Glare.
1x Whisperwood Elemental Leaves me with a new board after mass-removal & even better with Glare.
1x Baneslayer Angel for 5 Mana, its probably the very best Beater.
4x path to exile all white Decks have it
2x glare of subdual Very nice support-card. it absolutely controlls the creature-match
1x congregation at dawn 3 Mana Instant to make sure you draw your best cards for the next 3 turns
2x elspeth, knight errant The 2nd Planeswalker. & leaves me with something after mass removal
2x garruk, wildspeaker Also quite strong for my Deck & another safety
1x ajani, mentor of heroes With 5 Planeswalkers in the Deck & 2 fitting abilities, i need him.
Sooo . . . thats it. After many playtests, i can say it definately fulfills the Decks purpose: Havin more creatures than the opponent as quickly as possible, while being not fully exposed to mass-removal, thanks to certain cards.
Please tell me your opinion bout it & what you would change. Its my favourite Deck ^^

4x Forests
3x Plains
4x Windswept Heath
4x Temple Garden
4x Gavony Township Every GW Deck needs that card !
2x Selesnya Sanctuary i find my manaproducers gettin removed frequently & with 22 lands, it may become hard to get to 5 Mana
so i tested these lands & was convinced.
1x Horizon Canopy
