I got booted from the Esper Control deck, so I decided to check around the net to find a deck similar to what I want to play. And behold, I find Patrick Chapin making a deck called U/B Delve. And we all know once Chapin has something brewing, there's a lot of potential. He didn't do too well.
Any help or suggestions? Obviously the biggest weakness is gravehate, and once that happens you get a tons of dead cards. Anyway to think how to beat enchantments?
I like your suggestions. I don't think Hedron Crab would be too useful though, it's a nice little engine, but it doesn't do anything afterwards. I actually feel protecting the big creature guys is the way to go. Once those things land, it becomes a quick clock. Hence why I like Disrupting Shoal so much. It blocks Path to exile and those other instant kills like Go for the Throat, a pitch, and you retain board control. Since everything in the deck is immune to Abrupt Decay, it's only really path and Go for the Throat. And as you know, T2 Angler and Tasigur comes out more often than you think.
I don't think I'm running enough 2 blue mana stuff to pitch to Shoal though.
I do like Stubborn Denial and I will be replacing Spell Pierce with it.
I'm also going to try out putting a single Batterskull in the deck. Beats the burn, and equipping a Gurmag with it should jsut end games.
That said, I might try some form of reanimate spell
