You can play township, but you gotta count it as a spell and not a land. There are just so many spells in the abzan lists that don't have any coloured mana, that the "t: add 1" line may as well not exist

Alright, so lets say your commander is Riku of Two Reflections. Combo commander, to be sure, but lets push this into the realm of absurd. You cast Palinchron and do your Riku thing to make infinite mana because we're going to need it. Forget about your extra Palinchron tokens. A million flying 4/5s is boring. So now you cast Enter the Infinite, because drawing your deck is important. Follow it up with a Obstinate Familiar because not decking yourself is equally important. Laboratory Maniac could work here too, but we're gonna go some more levels deep. Cast a Greater Good because we want a tasteful sac outlet. Follow this up with Parallel Lives, Doubling Season,Copy Enchantment, Clever Impersonator, Mycosynth Latice, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Copy Artifact giving you 6 double token effects. Here's where it gets fun now. Cast a Reef Worm. Sac it to greater good and get 256 Fish, which you sac to get 65,536 whales, which you sac to get 16,777,216 Krakens. Are we done yet? Nope! Cast Thromok the Insatiable, devouring all your krakens to make a 281,474,976,710,656/281,474,976,710,656 Thromok. Where do we go from here though? Let your opponent cast Death Mutation on him! Why, that's 7.20575940x10^16 tokens! Good thing we have Body Double to make another Thromok the Insatiable who will be a 5.19229686x10^33/5.19229686x10^33! Seems big enough, but not for us! Since we're red anyways, lets cast a Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and a Fire Servant! Now it's time to Fling your guy, dealing a spicy 4.15383749x10^34 damage to your opponent. To put that in perspective, there are an estimated 3x10^23 stars in the known universe. You dealt more damage than there are stars. That'll give your opponent something to think about. PROTIP: Dodge Spellskite decks
I am thinking about Champion of the Parish in the board. Side it against uninteractive decks to just steamroll them with pure speed. Combined with some floodgate type effect (Thalia) it can get me to twenty no problem. Thoughts?

still loving the Mardu version, its been serving me well. But i need to make a sideboard (i've been too lazy and busy to order). what do you guys think of this
rest in peace- obvious choice for dredge
lightning helix- good against super aggro decks to get some damage off while staying alive (ah ah ah ah STAYING ALLLLIVVVVVEEEE)
duress- for combo decks and the likes, good all round card
boros charm- it could be good against board wipes and to get the last extra bit of damage in
rakdos charm- people are saying that its good against twin and plus its graveyard hate
stony silence- obvious again
zealous persecution- i have two mainboard and having an extra one for against delver, tokens, twin for pestermite, and just an all round good card
Turn 5? What? Even with the best hand I've had with this it took 7 turns. This is not a fast deck by any means.
I can agree that the 4 cost might be too high, though I forgot about Sultai Emissary which is probably strictly better in here as a 2 drop Doomed Traveler than Mastery.
These decks have fairly strong mana needs, so colorless lands end up taking up a spell slot, so they need to be worth a spell slot. This deck wants repeatable free, instant speed sac outlets.

don't know if anyone has already brought this up but legion loyalist in the mardu version anyone?? works well with the mogg and the rabblemaster and giving all your stuff first strike and trample, all at a one drop, i'll take it.

GW Hatebears more like HateBROS BWR THE ARISTAHCRATZ!
Has there been any mention of Sengir Autocrat, lots of people forget you can play him in modern, and if you sacrifice him in response to his trigger, you can keep the tokens on the battlefield. Alternatively there is Promise of Bunrei.
I think the Junk version may have a cool anti-sweeper creature which combos well with blood artist -
Dauntless Escort!
It can prevent all your tokens from getting hit with a damnation, electrickery, mizzium mortars, wrath of god, etc. Although it can't hit drown in sorrow, it's at least some deterrence against wrath effects.
Also, thanks so much Yeahfootball! This primer has been super helpful. I know we're not officially supposed to discuss non-released cards, but a certain Heretical Healer was MADE for aristocrats!
Also, why has no one included Act of Treason? How annoying would it be to steal an opponent's best creature, sac it, and swing through. You could kill indestructibles by saccing them as well as big beaters like Rhino and Goyf.
I'm worried that I don't have enough sac outlets at only 7 including the 3-drop Varolz (which I want to test out but I think that card could be a powerhouse)
Looking for feedback on this. The first decklist is the original version I was using, the second is the revision I'm using now.
For the second list, I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on the Bloodsoaked Champion. I'm also unsure if my Landbase is that great. I'm also concerned about Lightning Bolt vs Path to Exile, as I feel as though the land advantage Path offers can be somewhat major. I feel as though the deck needs more cards than 60 to reach its full potential.
While I've never played Bloodsoaked Champion in any versions of this deck, I've played against it numerous times, and I'm never impressed with him. I'd much rather have Bloodghast myself. I also feel like these decks need a maindeck boardwipe, like Damanation. You've got decent ways to work around it or recover from it (Doomed Traveler leaves a body behind, you can make Falkenrath indestructible, Lingering Souls can be flashed back, planeswalkers, Rally, etc.), and if you've got a Blood Artist on the field, it not only controls the board, but can give you the win outright.

Ken Yukuhiro went down to 1 Cartel Aristocrat, but I still think it's an aristocrats deck (even if he's selling out by adding Co-Co like every other green deck right now). I know it won't stop people coming over and saying Teysa is too clunky for Modern, but it's pretty good evidence to the contrary, i bet he blew people out following T3 Teysa, orzhov scion with T4 collected company.

If you want abzan aristocrats, you probably want the one that made top 64 at Grand Prix Singapore a couple weeks ago. Surprised this thread isn't already excited about it. http://www.starcitygames.com/article/31123_Daily-Digest-How-To-Ascend-The-Ranks.html

3 Tukatongue Thallid
4 Viscera Seer
4 Voice of Resurgence
1 Teysa, Orzhov Scion
