In the blue colors, you have Tome Scour & Hedron Crab off the top of my head. Glimpse the Unthinkable too.
The more you wanna make the deck rely on the graveyard, the more you approach a Dredgevine mentality, which in my opinion is a better deck than Zombies thanks to Feeder and Hogaak now.

Pioneer - A bunch of stuff Modern - Humans Legacy - Grixis Phoenix / Death & Taxes
Is it worse than Dredge? Probably yes. Is the lord-heavy version worse than humans, spirits and merfolk? Probably also yes... Feeder and Augur are a nice boost to removal resilience and CA, but I think what zombies really need is either a faster clock with 2cmc lords like merfolk or more disruption like spirits and humans (Tidehollow Sculler is a good start, but not enough). However, I doubt Wizards are going to print such creatures, since zombies was and always will be a graveyard based tribe, I mean that is the whole idea about zombies, right?
So in a month we went from having nothing new since ever to having carrion feeder, undead augur and then corpse knight. I'm now very excited for this deck again! The more new stuff we get the more i think an aristocrats/value version of zombies has the most potential. Between these and wayward servant, plague belcher and maybe even diregraf captain, we have a lot of ways to chip away our opponent's life. Trying to find the perfect mix will be a challenge for sure!
All those ping-effect creatures make me think of an Aristocrats-Zombie-Crossover Deck with Return to the Ranks and/or Rally the Ancestors. Carrion Feeder as our only sacrifice outlet may be not enough though so something like Cartel Aristocrat may be needed as the only non-zombie...
I realize that it's a four-card combo - if it even exists - but it's still just hilarious.
Someone posted Blightbeetle on Facebook and the discussion centered on things like Walking Balista and Affinity, but I thought how bad it would be to play Blightbeetle and see Messenger come down. Face-plant time.
ok so here's my first attempt at post modern horizons zombies. I'm starting with a mono black version because i don't have the lands for BW yet.
It is very value centric and features unearth, which i think should be a staple for the deck.
There is only 20 lands because there is a lot of card draw and the curve is relatively low. Unearth can bring back any creature which is why i put 2x fleshbag marauder. You can do sac shenanigans with relentless dead and it makes unearth a one mana edict. Unearth can also be a one mana stone rain with fulminator mage from the sideboard, and can bring back all other creatures in the deck.
I really can't wait to play the deck, i'll be testing tomorrow and see if this works.

I've been play-testing this for a while since the Horizons cards were spoiled. It seems to do fairly well via the incidental life loss and Carrion Feeder is just great. Prior to trying unearth I was trying Zombie Apocalypse and Command the Dreadhorde for the combo-esque finish, but they were just too expensive.
A White "Zombie" with surprising utility is Mirror Entity. In addition to the obvious, "pump the team" ability, it can kill the entire team in response to Terminus - so they go to the graveyard - or just to get ping triggers if you're running Diregraf Captain or something similar.

Im not sure if you're trying to keep the land base more budget but it seems like a big mistake to run 4 IOK over 4 tidehollow sculler, that guy is crazy good. Especially with his interactions with relentless dead, carrior feeder and NOW unearth.
Saccing him with carrion feeder to stack his LTB trigger before his ETB trigger means a Permanently exiled card from your opponents hand. It just seems too good to pass up.
I realized maybe I shouldnt try to turn everybodys list into mine but Ive had very good luck with that version of the list so far.
Like i mentioned at the start of my post, i'm starting with mono black because i don't own all of the needed wb lands yet. You can't play tidehollow sculler in mono black, i know its good but you need white mana to cast it.
By the time corspe knight is available i'll switch to wb, i'll probably be able to get the lands i need by then.
splash U for tomebound lich? Looks like it is good for card selection. And with lords boosting it's power, the lifelink would be helpful as well.
He's unlikely to do much damage as he's outclassed by just about every creature in Modern, but U might still be worth considering; I really like Soul Diviner.
Dino does look like a viable candidate. There's a fair few ways to get Zombies back from the dead and it's probably not that hard to get hellbent anyway.
The trouble is, there seems to be so much value in W. I'm wondering if an Esper build can be effective. Obviously, a Humans-like mana-base would support any color-combination of creatures, but part of the value would be in running spells. There certainly are Esper decks, Esper Control is sort of a thing, maybe I'm worrying unnecessarily, but Esper Control isn't running any BBB spells. I haven't scoured the Internet for deck-lists, but I'm certain that that is the case.

Collective Brutality is a must-play card as well for filling the GY while interacting with the opponent.
I've heard that you should never try to be a worse version of something else.
Dredge is better at that then we are.
I think the way to go is to abuse carrion feeder, undead augur and awesome lords and pseudo lords like diregraf colossus and death baron.

Give them Blightbeetle, cast Geralf's Messenger and Blasting Station and move out the way when the table flips!

As the man says, "Now that's a Zombie!"
Getting hellbent shouldn't be too tough and having things that don't mind being discarded shouldn't present a problem either.
I just keep thinking how silly this would be with some Madness cards!
A little G splash for Rancor would make this guy nasty.

Mono-B without Geralf's Messenger makes me sad.
I've been getting Silent Clearing on eBay for $10.50, all of the others are going for more.
I can't decide on the colors; I'm considering a Humans-like mana-base and three or even four-colors. Yes, it's probably crazy.
Bx Devotion is also calling to me and there is the eternal beckoning from Haakon. . . I just don't know which way to go.

Sadly won't get to test the mono black week until next week. Any thoughts?
Dark Salvation always seemed undewhelming to me so I'd probably prefer Collective Brutality especially with 4x Unearth in the deck.
The deck probably want Aether Vial, I'd consider it over 2x Dark Salvation and 2x Unearth or 2x Fleshbag Marauder.
