I am pretty sure you mean Wilt-leaf Liege, rather than wilt-leaf cavaliers. Cavaliers is pretty solid, though. The reason it is run is that it has apparently a better burn matchup than convential azban because it is faster and can gain life more easily, or can at least be tuned that way. It is worse vs. combo, though. Other than that, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Being bolt proof and laughing at discard makes it pretty solid.
That's what I figured too. I was just a bit surprised since people would still be linking the cavaliers. The names are just too similar
Drop the paladins, both, and add more crusaders and paladin en-vecs they will give you a huge boost against adzan, GB and red based decks. I also suggest stillmoon cavalier Cuz it dodges black removal and path to exile. Plus it can fly and pump itself. Instead of knight of the meadowgrain run knight of glory its pro black which is super relevant and it allows your mirran crusader to become a 4 turn clock.
Here is my version of the build, it is super fast and the large problack creature base is super relevant and the additions of pro-white, green and red means you are set against a lot of the top decks out there. The vials and kinsbaile cavalier can end a game instantly if you vial it in after declare blockers step. If I had the money I would have 3 Wiltleaf leige MD too.

Knight of Glory's Exalted ability isn't too useful, since we want to attack with more creatures. Knight of Meadowgrain creates a lifegain race that hurts burn but also slows down other aggro decks.
There isn't a single "right" deck depending on the meta you're facing.
Ive found the problack and exalted to be way more relevant over the lifelink. Plus its nice to be able to leave back creatures and attack with a basically unblockable creature with +1/+1. Life gain is great but against burn they are gonna kill it immediately usually before it ever gets to gain any life, I prefer the kor firewalker or timely reinforcements approach for those matches. I also like to use 4 glimmerpost MD as an added burn defence. I do agree that its very dependent on your meta but for purposes of say the Pitt GP in November I think timely is gonna be the way to go. I'd love to pilot this to a top 8 come November.

Woo-wee, who knew Wilt-Leaf Liege was so pricey? One wonders if it might show up in Modern Masters II.
Kinsbaile Cavalier doesn't play well with vial, since one would usually want to set it on three. Stillmoon Cavalier still stirkes as as a little too mana-intensive for his ability and vulnerability to cheap shots like Electrolyze.
But hey, it's a Knight's deck and it looks like fun.
We'd all love it, but how do you beat Twin? Amulet Bloom? Tron?
Agreed. Knights will not be a competitive deck unless there are some more variety in Knight abilities. Knights, at its heart, is still a linear aggro deck.
I do believe the problem is that Wizards has specific abilities in mind when it comes to job-related creature types like knights, wizards, and soldiers. On the other hand, there is a lot more variety in abilities when you look at racial creature types, like elves and merfolk, because there are many jobs in those races, which creates a tribal deck that can handle more situations.
We'd all love it, but how do you beat Twin? Amulet Bloom? Tron?
If the MD doesn't do it then that's what good SB tech is for. Lol
Twin= you have Torpor orb that shut down Twin and slows down Bloom by stopping the Titans ETB effect, also Celestial purge the Twin in response to them targeting the exarch with the ETB and they end up with next to nothing.
Bloom= Torpor orb and I've been toying with 3-4 Ghost Quarter MD to slow it down farther and the MD Path to exiles can kill the Titan before it attacks and drops more lands.
Tron= I guess the Ghost Quarters and then its dependent on their win con, I've seen a couple different lists, if its Wurmcoils and Emrakul you Path the Wurm so they get no tokens and as for Emrakul, I mean what can ya do but win before they play it, maybe Wrath of a God with RIP in play to exile it away. Also RIP stops Wurmcoil from making tokens when it dies.
I've played and beaten Twin, Storm, Abzan/GB and Artifacts on a regular basis, I haven't gotten paired against the tron players in my meta yet or bloom for that matter. Against Storm the Kor Firewalker just blanks Grapeshot, and if there is a better deck strategy against Abzan/GB I don't know it. With 14 problack creatures, 11 of those sporting either pro white, green or red too. I can block for days and attack with impunity, and game two after SBing its even worse since Celestial Purge exiles most of their creature base and Whip too. And RIP added in for extra Whip hate basically shuts them down.

Tell me about it I went to buy a playset and saw the $100+ total and emptied my cart. $100 on Vials was enough for now.
Here's my thought on the Kinsbaile Cav, I was using Hero of Bladehold as a four drop that they couldn't Abrupt Decay plus if it survives it can take over a game. But I then found it to be sitting in my hand more often than not and or got killed immediately. You do want the vial on three for most of the game but at any point after you draw the KC you can tick up your vial to four and use it as an uncounterable combat trick that doubles your damage and pry ends the game.
Stillmoon is there because it is pro black and white which is huge in the current meta with Path, Abrupt Decay, hero's downfall and the rest. Plus for a single W it can fly over blockers and or gain 1st strike, the firebreathing is kinda just an extra bonus to the rest of the cards text. Its always nice to have something to sink mana into later in the game, especially since you will have mana open because of the vials. And they side out nicely for the three Firewalkers.
OK so we have the Spectral Procession but where do I put them? Are they main deck worthy or just SB? And what do you cut for them? Also thoughts on Pentarch Paladin? I found it during a recent search and haven't decided if I like them as a 1-2 of or not. Abrupt Decay can't get them and the ability seems like it could be decent. Killing a creature of a chosen color at the end of their turn seems fun and you could always block one attacker and kill another, effectively blocking two creatures with it.
I wanna thank everyone for the responses, Im feeling better about November everyday. I'm hoping to see some knights come out in Origins this summer but we shall see.

Spectral Procession should be left in BW Tokens where it belongs. Token strategies are token strategies and I don't see any good reason to put a card like that anywhere near a Knight deck.
Pentarch Paladin!? That's an awesome ability, but even one of a five-cmc is tough for a deck with apparently only nineteen lands.

Was thinking the procession for lilliana decks and maybe against token decks to help against lingering souls but maybe the Wraths are enough.
I run 18 Plains and 3 ghost quarters for 21 lands and 3 vials was thinking about 17/3/4 but either way I always seem to find the lands I need especially with the Knight of the white orchads which a lot of times get me to four mana turn three.
The problem I see with Pentarch Paladin is his toughness doesn't put him out of Bolt range and he's very mana intensive for an ability that needs an extra turn to fire off. He does get to destroy a permanent though, so that does make me curious to how he'd work.
Paladin aside, what are people's thought on running Collected Company in place of Aether Vial? Had to sell my Vials a while back and won't be able to get them again for a good while.

Collecting Timbermare, hit me up if you have any for trade
Collected Company seems like it could be good but it can be negated unlike a turn 1 vial and also has a chance of missing altogether, not often but it will happen. I'd be interested in hearing how it plays though, maybe a mix of the two with like 3 vials and 2 CC or vice versa. It could definitely end up being the poor mans vial which then raises the price over time and suddenly their $20 bucks anyways.
Need to find a problue knight for modern but they don't have one. So how about a problue&black knight in Origins please Wizards.
Hello guys, I have been thinking on move my knights to GW from W, but so far I am unimpressed with Knight of Reliquary (that or my meta its fairly trigger happy). Anyways I have been thinking in change my paths to Valorous stance, and open for 3 brave the elements (at work so I don't have a list).
Can anyone point me to good cards on green variant?.
You'd also get access to great non-creature spells such as rancor for those chump blockers and utility cards such as selesnya charm and dromoka's command
While I can understand the point (and seems I will go more for spells than for creatures, I still question valorous stance or path of exile? (Or a balanced mix of the 2).
How good do you consider Thalia on this decks, as she hurt those spells.

Don't forget that Brave the Elements make your finishers unblockable.

I think the only way Knights will get more variety in abilities is for Wizards to design dual job creature types like Steward of Valeron or Knight of the Holy Nimbus.

Valor Made Real. This would be super hilarious with Knight Exemplar in play - maybe the funniest thing in Magic history.
Stave Off.
Holy Day.
A semi-serious thought would be Angel's Grace, but that's far from bullet proof. Worship might also stall them for a while.
Has anyone ever tried splashing G in a Harkon or other B Knights list?
