I just run a few copies of Dismember and/or Oblivion Ring and call it a day, which I find is more than enough to do the job. If needed, I would then run Celestial Purge, Sunlance and Celestial Flare in my sideboard, probably in that order. If I'm running an artifact/equipment-heavy Puresteel Paladin version of the deck, I'll probably run a miser's copy of Dispatch (and even Dispense Justice in the sideboard) -- but even then, it's not like we run enough artifacts to take advantage of running 3-4 copies (like Affinity).
In order for scrying sheets to be useful, it has to be in a color that can't do it better with something else. In modern, that basically means red and white can get best use out of it, with red having additional effects to take advantage of it. I agree that you likely wouldn't want more than two or maybe three, though.
Nabby: In regards to running unmake and the three WWW it costs you, have you had any success with crib swap in its place or is the token problematic?
For the g/w lists running selesyna charm, has any thought been given to reprisal instead? Or is even having it at 4 power instead of 5 still too difficult?
I actually like Reprisal now that you mention it, at least for one of the locations where I play. Crib Swap could also be fine; the token isn't the problem so much as it's 'Goyf chow and I'm not running 'Goyf in my mono-white Knights list. In truth, I rarely run across 'Goyf except when I run Rock or Jund as I sometimes do.
I doubt I'd spend money to get any copies of Crib Swap without a warmer, fuzzier feeling for it but Reprisal may just suit my purposes better than Devouring Light. You've gotta love that exile, though.
The thing I've been trying lately is Day of Judgment, but the cost is a bit high for my tastes.
I think Haakon Stromgald Scourge is looking to be broken with Nameless inversion, anyone have a decklist that best fits him?
I have been tinkering with a list that uses the new Enchantment from M15, Necromancer's Stockpile as a way to get him in the yard as well as Aether Vial
Have you thought of running Smallpox instead of Zombie Infestation? Seems like it'd combo pretty well with Athreos plus the only thing you'd really lose would be a land and a life, and if they don't want your creature back in your hand thats 4 life you've taken from them for 2 black mana.

Totally forgot that I have the Infestations in as proxies for the Necromancer's Stockpile on Tappedout.com since the new cards aren't up yet. I had smallpox in the deck for while but ended up moving them out for the Changeling cards since they can be casted over and over
You could take a look at the darth knights list in the primer, as I've already been over at least the mono black territory before. I will admit I haven't tested it recently and I am not sure how the newer cards would play out in the list. I wouldn't hesitate to say that one of the best cards in that list has been smallpox, however.

With regards to crib swap, I don't think I can handle the flying token which is why I didn't consider it (the damage can slowly adds up). I always have massive problems against the Lingering Souls when everyone was playing it at one stage it was just pure irritating. Knights are notoriously poor against flyers so the last thing I want is another flyer (albeit only 1/1) to think about! The only way I can think of playing it is when I have a full set of Leonin Skyhunter and also Stirring Wildwood in my GW Knights.
Between Selesnya Charm and Reprisal I think the former is better, the difference is power 4 or 5 is minimal IMO, I haven't see too many creatures which Charm couldn't touch at power 4 which Reprisal could.
Crib Swap doesn't make a flying token, it makes a changeling token.
For GW builds, would it be worth running a single Forest in case of a Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon, or should we just run no Forest and hope for the best?

Hey guys, so I was thinking of trying a UW Midrange Knights list. There doesn't need to be a major blue splash, and it seems like this gives us access to some cards that have been holding knights back a bit in modern. These new options range from counterspells to card draw, and better stability overall. Here is a list that I was thinking of...
Note how Vial can easily be swapped for Suppression Field depending on the matchup, and how it truly shines in synergy with Knight of the Holy Nimbus. See Beyond works beautifully for CA, allowing me to get rid of an unnecessary land/vial/verdict or excess card/4 mana spell I can't cast for a while. There is still room for Heliod, God of the Sun, Phyrexian Metamorph and additional Muddle the Mixtures in here (allows you to tutor Exemplar or Kira).

Sorry, that was a brain fart I have no idea why I keep thinking Crib Swap will end up with a flying token. I guess we can re-evaluate this card again LOL.
I always run at least a single forest, because I want to make sure I can cast Knight of Reliquary.

It's probably been mentioned before, but there's not much harm in running a few copies of Horizon Canopy even in mono-white. I'm not sure why it never occurred to me before.
While I'm at it, has anyone ever tried Guardians' Pledge? I just stumbled onto it a moment ago. A play-set goes for about $0.99! It just might be worth a shot.
I'm running Monowhite Knights and loving it. I've toyed with the idea of Gift of Immortality, to really make our Exemplars hard to kill, but eh. The Squadron Hawks are staying. For those playong Swords or Honor of the Pure, or have to deal with Lili in their metagame, thwy are key. The sideboard is still a work in progress, havnt had to use it much.

Military Intelligence seems more suited to Soldiers Tribal then Knights Tribal. My knights usually attacks alone, and usually I don't have many creatures surviving through an opponent's massive removal suite. So many decks run multiple cheap removals nowadays I barely have more than 2-3 creatures around to the point we even need to play protection spells such as Brave the Elements.
Guardians' Pledge at 3cc makes it unplayable IMO, I thought about instant anthem cards like this before, there were a few more that costs 2cc or something but they tend to be too situational or underwhelming, if I have space for additional spells I would likely go for more protection spells. I like Harm's way and Emerge Unscathed because although situational, both of them can bring in a 2 for 1 advantage.

Always loved playing simple mono-white builds and it doesn't get better than Mono-white Knights. I always like the idea of a Airborne force complementing Knights. I would like to try War Falcon in such a deck if possible, although I worry if the deck will become too lightweight as a result.

If you intend to use it as card draw, it's not the most efficient solution. Otherwise, you take 1 damage trying to use it for white mana, which doesn't make sense for monowhite. Horizon Canopy works in GW, because it helps grow Knight of Reliquary when it's used as card draw.

I think that this card is about it. I think there is nothing wrong with running it, but you may find that you end up burning up life if you run a land-light deck that hurts against some of the aggro decks of the format that wasn't necessary if you didn't run the card. That's the only issue. Is the life loss of getting the white mana worthwhile?

I think that's right, myself, and I hate saying that. Soldiers have some options for card draw, but they are stronger in groups, while a knight or two is expected to generally rule combat. If you consistently have higher life, you could try the rebound sorcery gain 2 life, if you have highest life total, draw a card. There is also the multi plains searcher gift of estates. It's not necessarily more creatures, but it is a handful of stuff you don't have to draw later.

ShiroeTheEnchanter & JPoJohnson put on some good points over here.
I would use Horizon Canopy purely for the card-draw if I happen to play a knight decklist strong on lifegain with Knight of Meadowgrain and Fiendslayer Paladin, in order to mitigate the life-loss from canopy. Admittedly I'm worried about boardwipe such as Pyroclasm and Anger of the Gods. The knights are safe from Pryoclasm with a single Honor of the Pure out but does anyone play Anger of the Gods?
So, I sleeved up a version of the Darthknights deck. (didn't have a full set of Veils, so I ran with 2 Veils and 2 Raven's Crime, also no Bobs, went with 4 Thoughtseize there.) And I have to say, in a creature based matchup, it just wrecks them. Played a 16 man Modern tourney, played Zoo twice, Affinity once, and then Fish and Tron in the T4. Only loss of the night was to Tron (which, fortunately, was the finals. lol.), and the Creature-based matchups were pretty simple. Nameless Inversion does WORK, and even with Fish, who had quite a few counters, I was able to attrition them to death.
Now, I didn't get a game against Tarmo Twin or anything like that, so I'm not sure how it would work in those matchups, although I feel fairly confident that it could get turned into an attrition long game that we could win. Scapeshift, though, is a completely different beast, by my reckoning.
Yours truly does when he takes the Jund out for a spin; two main-deck and one side-board. This is fairly typical of Jund these days, at least, the common "Courser-Anger" build.
Main deck changes have been made to cope with the Zombies; en-Vec gets the nod here over Fiendslayer Paladin and the Crusader replaces Knight of the White Orchid. I'm considering swapping one or maybe even two Caverns for Horizon Canopy.
The side-board choices are mostly obvious: Scorn for the BW Token anthems and Bombs for the tokens themselves; Day mostly for the elf swarm; Purge for the Zombies; Timely for both Elves and Zombies because both are faster; Pledge partly because it can help against the trampling effects the elves have; and lastly a singleton Rider because the man is a knight and he should be good against tribal right?
Obviously a weird, non-competitive environment, but we have fun. Better ideas are always solicited and appreciated.
