Mostly anything playing black or black/x that can either fire off a ton of hand destruction, or lots of things like abrupt decay before I even get a chance to put an auramancy down. Leyline is the only real answer.
Could not be happier they just announced Leyline is coming back in MMA2! Hopefully with a box on preorder I'll get a playset through trading, as it's been the obvious replace in that deck for some time but just waaaay to expensive.
I guess end of the day as you say it's not great in some matchups - I just wondered if aside the Leyline I was missing anything else. Thanks for your help

I think you have to rely on Leyline of Sanctity in your opening hand. Hopefully, you'll get a few in that box you pre-ordered. I don't think there is much you can do to stop Abrupt Decay with the current card pool. You need two Greater Auramancy cards to protect the other, and the opponent can use Abrupt Decay in between castings of Auramancy.
I still stand by my comment that if we are to play Enchantress in Modern, it has to be without actual Enchantresses since what we have to work with is too fragile.
The sideboard is still a WIP... Leyline of Sanctity or its budget cousin, Ivory Mask should probably be in there (over Mine Excavation?). Maybe Narcolepsy could get in over Journey to Nowhere if ETBs are a concern. And, given that this deck is weak to combo... Angel's Grace? Nevermore? some counterspells? Regardless, it feels good when Kruphix's Insight is a draw 3, when every enchantment you CAST (not play) produces a 4/4 flier and ticks up Myth Realized by 1, and Reality Acid destroys a land a turn. Of course, the engine required to do these things is rather slow by Modern standards, so fast aggro is not much appreciated. But there is enough creature kill in the deck to survive against anything slower.
I would load up a bit more on ways to actually win, rather than ways to "not lose". Like another Sigil of the Empty Throne, or the non-Modern legal Opalescence.
Anyway, this is a Modern-legal forum - a lot of the things in your deck aren't Modern legal. Maybe Casual part of the forum should be where you post this? And deck tags would help.

For a no-creature Enchantress deck, I think Herald of the Pantheon is not a good card for the deck. It doesn't have any protection, and it isn't an enchantment creature itself. Starfield of Nyx is better in this shell.
For a creature-based, aura-based (or even Boggles) deck, I don't think Herald of Pantheon is quite as good as Kor Spiritdancer. Card drawing is valued more than lowering casting costs or lifegain.
So i'm gonna revive this thread a little bit. I got wrecked by legacy enchantress when i was playing Mono White Stax a few years ago and I have been obsessed with making a modern version recently. So I feel Bant Enchantress is a good way to go. There are quite a few ways to go about it, I haven't quite got a list yet. I looked up every "useful" enchantment and cards that just help the deck. I agree, we can't use either enchantress, they are just too weak for the format. So here's some cards I have got, and would like some suggestions on a bant version.
All of these cards are pretty self explanatory, just need a little advice on what direction to go, I think modern enchantress can be made, it just needs a few more cards.
I'm not sure how active this thread is anymore, but after playing Abzan Constellation in Standard and enjoying it, I figured Modern would have access to much more - both in numbers and in playability, especially when it came to enchantments. Below is what I am working with, and highly open to suggestions, especially regarding the manabase (smoothing it out).
Wanted to make an enchantment deck a while back, and seeing Stasis Snare reminded me to find a thread and see what inspiration might already exist. Like many people it seems, I started with a more direct port of Legacy Enchantress with the various 0/2s, and protection enchantments, but it just seemed very bad. I'd rather the cards stand up by themselves, and just have a sort of grindy/mid-rangey enchantment deck, so that's what I'm trying to go for here:
Have one open slot still, not sure what that will be. A lot of this will change as I test it at FNM in the coming weeks. I will say that Kruphix's Insight seems busted though, and half the reason I even wanted to play this deck. It's like our own Treasure Cruise!
Quarantine Field has been better then I thought it would be. Will be trying it as a 2-of. Faith's Fetters is okay, but most the time the life is irrelevant and I'd rather have interaction at instant speed, so I'm uping Stasis Snare. Also fixed the lands a little bit - Canopy Vista is perfect for this deck.
Really want to get this tuned in time for States; I think this can be a solid tier 2 deck. It gets to play all the best hate cards, gets a lot of card advantage, and largely blanks Lightning Bolt. Time for more testing...
Interesting to hear people's thoughts, I really like the black splash for Brain Maggots as actual disruption, and Oath of Nissa is a strong one-drop that can find a lot of engine pieces (but not enchantments sadly). I'm a bit worried by going all in on putting enchantments on one land for untapping as the number of Ghost Quarters and other land hate for Tron will surely be on the rise at the moment.
Glad to see some other people having success with this idea. It seems really solid for any creature-based metagame, and has just an incredible amount of inevitability. I've been tuning this list on MTGO this past week, and I like where it's going. Less of the taxing effects, and more just efficient removal and Ghost Quarters to survive the early game. Spirit Link in particular has been better and better, started out as a 2-of but quickly got bumped all the way up to 4. Not sure if I'll be heading to FNM this week, but if I do I plan on bringing this and I'll let you know how it goes.
