I haven't had a chance to test Eldritch Evolution (or play any Modern recently), but it may just turn out that the card isn't any good.
If it does get countered or they have an answer for your Architect then it is a 2 for 1, which is bad.
On the other hand, it does enable turn 3 kills more often. It might be a valuable sideboard card for matchups where we want to combo as quickly as possible (i.e. Affinity), and that is that. I don't see it being good against decks that interact a lot like Grixis or Jeskai.
Ever thought of using shared fate as your wincon to get around players getting hexproof? It makes the deck rely on azure Mage or other effects that draw your deck, but it effectively makes it so that you exile and play they're entire deck on the spot. Because neither player can mill out, you can g probe after shared fate. At that point you would decide whether or not it is the correct play to bounce shared fate with cryptic command based on what whether or not they can get rid of shared fate. My deck plays as more of a control list though, and I main board a copy of ulamogs crusher in my list just in case the combo doesn't work out as planned. And, if I get the mana combo but not the ability to draw my deck, then the rest of my list is cantrips and counterspells, so I can play control with as much mana for counters as I need.
Edit: I forgot to mention before that my version is mono blue.

Shared Fate sounds like overkill to get around hexproof. It's OK, as your wincon though, especially if you want to humiliate your opponent by playing their entire deck + your deck.
Consider that if you can draw your whole deck, you can find bounce in addition to your wincon. You can then bounce their hexproof. When the wincon can be any infinite mana dump, you usually try to find one that you can fetch, either through Chord of Calling, Reshape, etc.
With Quicksmith Spy coming soon, I feel that this deck has a lot of potential (my version is mono blue with BSZ and Laboratory Maniac as my 2 win-con.
Azure will take the boot from my deck.

Whir of Invention is exactly what the deck needs. It's a card that can tutor a Pili-Pala from your library into play at EOT at instant speed AND its also a card to use to be able to turn infinite mana into a kill (By finding Walking Ballista or Staff of Domination)
a long time has passed ..
But have someone playing the deck ? The latest editions bring some kind of adiction ?
The monoU version, was the one I liked the most.
Supreme Will - Can do all the deck need (counter/filter) Peek - Without Gitaxian Probe this can turn combo safe ?! Postmortem Lunge - Can bring some piece for the combo moment cause haste effect
Later ill post my monoU build, but i cant say if its only for this, but how o budget cause i made this deck now, i dont have some best cards like Cryptic Command and Pact of Negation

I don't think artifact density is high enough in anyone's list here to use Crane. Copter might work, but needs testing.

Quicksmith Spy seens good but not too slow ?
Cards could be good, IMO:
Supreme Will - Can do all the deck need (counter/filter)
Peek - Without Gitaxian Probe this can turn combo safe ?!
Postmortem Lunge - Can bring some piece for the combo moment cause haste effect
I used some bounces but sometimes is not enough
Later ill post my monoU build, but i cant say if its only for this, but how o budget cause i made this deck now, i dont have some best cards like Cryptic Command and Pact of Negation
But i little splash for some kind of Anger of the gods seens worth
4x Grand Architect
4x Azure Mage
3x Drift of Phantasms
3x Muddle the Mixture
4x Sleight of Hand
2x Supreme Will
2x Deprive
2x Swan Song
2x Remand
2x Into the Roil
1x Blue Sun's Zenith

I like the monob, but as sad, the hard aggro is the problem, i like the R splash but consider the W for Supreme Verdict and Silence for safe combo
