I'm fairly new to mtg, about 6 months now. I've always enjoyed stupid janky decks like zombie hunt and fling combos, and now I've made my own one. The idea is to mull until you get a Treasure Keeper let it die and then mill into a free Myr Superion. It probably still has alot of janky improvments, but heres it so far:
Beyond that, there are even more cards that force you to discard cards like Thoughtseize, or cards that counter yours like Remand or Mana Leak. These ones mean that you won't even be able to play your creatures in the first place.
The reason that Zombie Hunt is even kinda playable is that you can make a ton of Zombies right away and go really wide. It is far harder for decks to deal with a lot of small creatures than only one. Even further, you aren't going to be doing anything until turn 4 at the minimum so that gives your opponents a lot of time to find a way to stop your single Myr Superion. Even once you play Treasure Keeper it doesn't have to be blocked and your opponent will probably have a ton of creatures out by then smashing your face.
Even at the casual kitchen table level you're going to find there will be no success if your friends are playing any amount of removal spells. There are a lot of cards in Modern, so I suggest looking up decks that use the "Cascade" mechanic or that play Myr Superion if that's what you're looking for.
4 Myr Superion
52 Swamp
As for your deck, one thing I'd like to let you know is that Modern is a very creature-centric format. This means that there is going to be a lot of removal spells flying around and some of the most popular ones are Fatal Push, Path to Exile, Lightning Bolt, and Abrupt Decay. There are some less common ones too like Terminate, Lightning Helix, Liliana of the Veil, Maelstrom Pulse. Most decks these days aren't even playing Lightning Bolt or Lightning Helix except for mono R or UWR decks so pretty much any deck you play against is going to be able to kill your Myr Superion or Treasure Keeper as soon as you play it.
