Fortunately Melira isn't really played anymore, so Vampire Nighthawks which were usually in the sideboards of previous versions have gone by the wayside. Leyline of Sanctity sees a lot of Sb play due to burn and it voids a large portion of our discard suite.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
This deck is not really a low budget because i tweaked it for my meta here in our LGS. Fetchlands are ignorable, you can replace them with Swamps. Downfalls are for planeswalkers, and serves also a hard removal for creatures. I didn't include Disfigure because it is clunky late game and can't kill creatures with 3-toughness. Dismembers are far better. Early or late game. Paying 4 life on turn 1 does not matter because you are not running shocklands or Thoughtseize. I don't feel we need Liliana of the Veil here. She competes 3cmc slot against Crusaders and too slow to cast.
As much as I love this deck, it seems that since there wasn't a reprint of Inkmoth Nexus in MM2015, that card's price skyrocketed. It's currently in the 20 bucks range
I'm actually considering to replace my set of inkmoths for a set of phyrexian obliterators but it would mean to fundamentally change the deck mechanics and I personally dislike playing with the rack-like effects.
And I think this deck doesn't belong to Budget Section anymore. Inkmoth Nexus adds firepower to the deck. Sneaky card because it dodges Abrupt Decay and sorcery-speed removal.
I had a version of this worked up late last year before Nexus went up to $25 and when I was able to get a deal on a couple of Sword of Feast and Famine. Haven't gotten to play it much, but seemed like a decent idea.
