What I've been wanting for my Shaman list most of all is a simple Elvish Mystic that is a shaman. All I want is a mana dork to make this deck quite a bit better. DRS is that card, and it's banned, but all I'm asking for is a simple mana dork.

Having a 1 drop is really important, I'm looking to replace Firedrinker Satyr. Two mana mana producer is too expensive. This deck is intended to be as fast as possible.

I've tried Kolaghan Stormsinger for a while (for the haste) but it wasn't good enough.
It seems that going with Aether Vial in this slot might be the best option.
If you cast it with BTE mana or with a discount from Bosk Banneret then Rattleclaw Mystic can work pretty well.
A 2-cmc mana dork is good enough for a turn 3 CoCo the same way a 1-cmc mana dork is.
I think Aether Vial is definitely not for my deck, my deck cares about creature count and dumping as many out as fast as possible, Vial is actually too slow. Literally the only card my deck wants is a 1 mana mana dork.
Sometimes I call this deck Shaman storm because it spews out a *****storm of Shamans and can get a decent storm count up.

on the subject of splashing blue to get Kumena'S Speaker online Id say nissa, steward of elements would be a great scry and free creature engine for at least 3 mana. you can use the 0 the rest of the game if it isnt contested in the first few turns. Also, theres an opportunity to test Trinket Mage to tutor up Basilisk Collar out of the sideboard for the cunning sparkmage plan
Decks I have in my bag of tricks- Needless to say, someone who wants to play will probably have a deck UB/x Faeries UR Storm XURWB Affinity G Elves UW control
I think Temur Shamans doesn't have enough pay off. It gets us this guy which can be a 3/3 after rageforger and maybe some Vapor Snag/Removal, but there isn't enough good blue shamans to make it worth while and few of them if you go the CoCo route are worth coco-ing into. In fact, I am not sure CoCo is the right place although it can always work. SHamans are in someways a combo deck with rageforger, but most of our cards are 2 mana and few of them outside of Visionary, Rageforger, Flamekin have meaningful ETB's or provide significant abilities such as lord effects that make coco as worth while in say Elves, Slivers, Humans, and Spirits.
Even Rageforger we want to land before combat more often than not. I am not saying CoCo isn't a good card and it can power us through matchups, but I would rather smooth the curve out wiehter with Commune with Nature or Oath of Nissa (which i think might be better as a replacement for mana dork). We are so glutted at the 2 spot that we don't really need to ramp to 3 or 4. We need to GET to 2-3 and I think Oath of Nissa allows us to skimp on lands and is relevant late game by getting us perhaps a more meaningful creature.
I think if we are looking for additional creatures, the two-slot is even more glutted thanks to Lambholt Pacifist which should be good and might replace a card or two.
I was going to test 3 mana Nissa at one point due to her minus as an extra lord, but that is still up in the air. I am enjoying Slivers at the moment to really play with Shamans.

There isn't a lot that temur offers in an aggressive deck such as ours outside of damaging ourselves. It is the same thing for black and white honestly.
We almost would have to play like Bushwhacker Zoo-style in terms of damaging ourselves to be able to pull off Kumena's Speaker. I might want to find more pay off that Nissa Steward of Elements though although the card would be interesting with Flamekin Harbinger and the Zero Ability.
We could look at other blue cards which might be better options though I can't think of them right now. Or just the options to go a more tempo/control route might be worth it. If we do go more Temur, I wonder if Heirarch becomes more viable as a ramp spell which might open our options a little more.
You cast Nissa, Steward of elements for 3 and scry 2 and then she becomes an engine of extra creatures and draw-fixing that threatens an ultimate which does 10 damage if left unchecked. You also dont have the redundancy or explosiveness to make use of collected company like other decks, which get better through natural ramp synergy and combo finishes, so I think aggro with the ability to filter its draws and play free creature spells is better here and if not, at least good.

I don't get why people get riled up over sets dropping cards that could turn a deck into a pile... Shamans has play because of staying power and explosiveness. It's the ultimate turn-the-table aggro deck that treads a beat slower than the viable aggro shells. Forcing 1CC guys and pointless midgame spells into the archetype because '1-drops are good' might seem like the right idea until you realize if you want to get off to a fast start just play a deck where you can go turn 1 Memnite x2, Ornithopter, land, Mox Opal -> Steel Overseer. This is not that deck, so messing with it in a way that doesn't help its strategy is just changing for the sake of change to try to delude yourself into thinking youre next level
As such it's criminal to leave out Wolf-Skull Shaman. The card helps to get over the hump when board states get murky, and Leaf-Crowned Elder can come in as a silver bullet to play double duty in the battle for board supremacy.
Lastly, your plan is to go wide and punch in the mouth with a Rage Forger or two. In doing so, playing a Chord of Calling/CoCo is much more valuable than an Aether Vial. Trading your card in for a creature rather than an artifact helps with the extra Rage Forger triggers, and most of the deck is already predicated on tempo rather than bulk. Merfolk can Vial to a benefit because the deck can clock the opponent with just a few lords. There's no such play with Shamans, so most successful archetypes are seen to be playing Bosk Banneret/Beastcaller Savant/BTE to help get on the ground running, eliminating the need to use any other resources to go wide.
I will say, using Chord to turn your Wolf tokens and non-threatening dorks into an anthem or a game-changing bullet is a much more reliable way to shift into the midgame than just a CoCo. The average CMC of our guys being paltry doesn't help to cash in value off of it, unlike dedicated CoCo builds where you can easily grab 5-6 CMC of sheer value critters for your money's worth.
The ceiling is already pretty much decided for Shamans, and there's no proof to suggest that it hasn't been broken if there was any potential. Splashing a third color is silly in a deck that is low to the ground, unless you're on the 12+ fetch/5+ shock plan. And in that case, a card like Nacatl would come to mind, and then you'd realize that you're just playing a worse Nacatl deck than a dedicated zoo plan, because you can't cash in as much with your Rage Forgers. I digress...
What this deck needs is a 1-mana Shaman mana dork, and I've said that for a while. That's the only card I can think of that it actually wants to replace anything in the mainboard, for my list at least. I generally don't like Wolf-Skull Shaman because it's slow and unreliable. My deck is built to be as fast as possible, and as consistency as possible with Chord to find Rage Forger or it's tutor. I can see Wolf-Skull being decent in some scenarios, but not great in most scenarios. Having said that, being able to put a Shaman on top consistently with Chord in addition to Flamekin, makes it more appealing.

Every time @ attacks, you may pay XR. If you do, create X 1/1 Elemental creature tokens tapped and attacking. Exile them at the beginning of the next end step, unless you have the City's blessing.
1/1
Its not a 1 mana 1/1 like wed want, but it is a mana dump. I'm in the go wide camp for shamans, and this thing does go wide really well. Might not be worth it since well... 2 mana, and only really good in mid game, but worth mentioning.
I would agree with your assessments, but I would also state that it produces Elemental tokens which might have Rageforger issues unless paired with a second Metallic Mimic or Nissa, Voice of Zendikar. However, a shaman master of waves at 2 mana and an extra turn could be useful if we could all make it work
Not sure making the manabase worse for a Images is what we want to be doing, but maybe adding a couple is ok. I was actually thinking about Sakura-Tribe Scout as an option, since this deck really wants a Shaman one drop mana dork, this is the closest thing to it. I don't want to remove Spikeshot Elder though because I found that card to be great.

Blue isn't really worth it in this deck imho.
I don't really see the appeal of Nissa, Steward of Elements in a Shamans' deck.
Nissa, Voice of Zendikar putting counters on all your creatures makes more sense though I don't really see PW's as a good fit for the deck and would rather focus on spells like: Collected Company, Atarka's Command or Lead the Stampede.
