Cost: $2.97 according to the low prices on TCGplayer on 10/10/14.
Effectiveness: There are much better white weenie or even soldier tribal decks. But it lets you vomit your hand pretty quickly, and stands up to getting Pyroclasm/Anger of the Gods'd surprisingly well.

This is just begging for Brave the Elements. In the last standard, I also found that Fortify is one of the better tricks that no one sees coming (and much better than Dynacharge).
Is it okay to use mtgo trader prices for this? I've made about 5 or 6 decks on mtgo that are all less than 15 to 20 dollars, and 4 of them are under 10. It seems like a cheaper way to play magic.
Total Deck Cost: $18.10 (using the Low prices on magiccards.info, as of 11/11/14)
Total Budget left over: $1.90
This is a deck I've been running on MTGO with some success. The idea is to hit hard and hit fast with Green's access to early, efficient creatures. Dungrove Elder can be replaced with Leatherback Baloth if you feel it doesn't get big enough (I only have it there myself because it's a favorite card of mine).
Average CMC: 2.10
Type: Tight Budget ($10.00 limit)
Total Cost: $7.15 (as of 02/12/14)
Remaining Budget: $2.85
Non-Budget Upgrades: Lots of things. :s Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize instead of Duress, Bloodghast to replace Sangrophage. Might as well squeeze in Geralf's Messenger into the deck somewhere. Prices are according to magiccards.info 'low' value
The aim of the deck is to simply swing as fast as possible at the opponent, with deathtouch giving a bit of a way for the damage to get through. I also added Street Wraith for some card advantage, Duress for discard and Bump in the Night as a form of Lava Spike for B. c:
W Knight Stompy
Price 5.80 (time stamp 12/07/2014 @12:34)
Pretty much play dudes and swing as quick as possible. I have 24 lands in the deck for the 3 drops, if it feels like too much add equipment as you choose. Much room tro grow into things like thalia, and path to exile. the deck seems to work good on the mana curve and use brave the elements to either save from board whipe or to swing for lethal.
This is my only Modern deck, and it has an absurd win percentage.
When I first started playing, I fell in love with Raid Bombardment. Thus I have had at least one deck with it featured the entire time.
Plus the synergy with the Spitfire is insane.
It shows as $6.74, and $10.14 w/sideboard.
I just won a match online against a $1000 deck (estimate) despite 2 Kor Firewalkers being out in game 3.
Here is my latest modern deck. I ran something very similar in standard not too long ago, and it was great fun. I've been playing it on MTGO ('Just for Fun' room mostly), and it's hovering in the 75-80% win range. The sideboard is a little tweaky, but not much else was coming to mind.
TCGPlayer Low - $15.80
I built it on MTGO for just under 5 tickets.
Keep in mind this is the first time I've brewed for modern. So it probably sucks. Magnivore has always been a pet card of mine, though, and I wanted to try and utilize it.
We have a lot of land destruction in here, and then a few wincons. Either of the X-spells can kill (though RSZ I put in more for dealing with creatures.) Avalanche Riders can be a beater for a turn. Magnivore, of course, is our main wincon, but Moltensteel Dragon is a backup (and if we blow up some of our lands with either Boom or Bust, we can still pump the firebreathing.)
I thought about Kiln Fiend in here as well. I think I'd run four sideboard to bring in against decks that don't put many creatures out right away.
Stall with Walls and some light control until you drop your threats, Scourge and Hoverguard. They can be cheated in with Aetherplasm or hard casted. Card advantage is a non-issue. Scry cards would be great but they all tend to be fairly pricey.
Bought this deck on Cardhoarder tonight for less than 2 TIX.
Please comment with budget cards that you think would fit well. After gold-fishing about 30 games tonight, you should be able to have board control around turn 10, earlier if you can cheat out your fatties.
Maindeck costs: $11.48 TCG Low as of 3/8/2015 10:30 AM
Sideboard costs: $0.79 TCG
So this is a deck that I used to play back during Lowryn standard era, with some much better updates. Everything that hits the field is either a threat on its own, or will make your guys amazing. The object of the deck is either to land an Obsidian Battle-axe, a Bramblewood Paragon, or a Brighthearth Banneret. Follow up those with any/all of the rest of your "Warriors" and you have either really cheap beats, trampling beats, or hasty pumped beats. Lightning Bolt is your catch all, use it to either clear a path or to get those last points of damage in. More often than not, 2-3 lands openings are where you want to be. If you were looking to improve the deck, You can add Copperline Gorge, replace Autumn's Veil with Choke, or replace Lead the Stampede with Domri Rade. Vines of Vastwood could also replace Autumn's Veil if you have more targeted removal decks than blue-based decks. Fetchlands and Stomping Ground of course will also help fix the mana. Boggart Ram-Gang can help vs. the Kitchen Finks matches, as well as Skullcrack. Season your board to taste though.

Basically, this is a control deck that bounces the opponent's lands. If you hit a T2 bounce spell, then you should be able to keep them on 1 land throughout the entire game, which absolutely kills a lot of decks. (note that Birds of Paradise and Noble Hierarch are both cards, which sucks for this deck). Could be upgraded with Cryptic Command, Snapcaster Mage, and Vedalken Shackles (could be a potential win-con if wanted).
Strategy: Play fast creatures, pump and burn as needed. Violent Outburst guarantees a hit, wouldn't recommend Outburst when no creatures are present. Only one 3cmc card in the deck. All 2 drop creatures except Kird Ape with burn spells for turn 1.
This deck uses graveyard filling spells to cast fatties with delve or exile a creature casting costs. Upgrades would include Scavenging Ooze and fetches.
The current (3/22/15) TCG optimized price is $12.73
Didn't see any loam decks so figured id take a shot at it. I did however go slightly over budget but still figured its worth putting here since it looks reasonable to be playing.

Buried ruin+bow of nylea is great and prevent you from essentially decking(hopefully baring bow getting exile or buried ruin) and allow you to after you have dredged entire deck set up each draw and stop dredging and just draw life from the loam if thats what is wanted, etc.
Can either be creeping renaissance or worm harvest as last card i just liked renaissance for some reason more.
But basically the deck is going to operate a bit slow due to taplands but how it plays out is basically you want to start find a life from the loam+ seismic assualt/ravens crime/or flame jab via faithless looting to start getting a lot of value out of your life from from the loam and take control over the game slowy while finding a way to kill them. Raven's Crime is basically how you win any control MU as that card is near impossible for them to get out from under. Lotleth troll is just being used since its just a good blocker and a decent win condition/can go aggro same is true for nighthawk(needed some life gain and a flyer with dt is great). Crusher has a lot of synergies with the deck since discarding to retrace/fetching/assault/dredging all give it counters and give you a creature that you can grow to a huge size relatively quickly. Almost at all times in the game should you be dredging life from the loam unless you need to find a certain spell/creature.
If you can upgrade the main thing to start upgrading would be the lands aim to get wooded FoothillsBloodstained Mire and Verdant Catacombs none of them need to be a 4 of but just something like a 2/2/2 split is best but 3/3 foothills/mire is fine as well. Gaven Cairns is really good in the deck and lets you technically skimp on red mana a bit 1-2 Raging Ravine and 1 Twilight Mire if possible. You will need something like ~4-6 ravnica shocklands however in the deck as well. 1 tectonic edge and 1 ghost quarter fit into the main has a lot of value in a lot of mu's as well.

Upgrade Paths: Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Honor of the Pure are both very powerful in white weenies while also costing actual money. Going Boros for cheap removal like Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix, and Pillar of Flame as well as finisher cards like Dynacharge is another option.
This is just begging for Brave the Elements. In the last standard, I also found that Fortify is one of the better tricks that no one sees coming (and much better than Dynacharge).

Going to come back and edit for other upgrades but the common bg good stuff abrupt decay/lilliana of the veil/ and dark confidant(or phyrexian arena) Scavenging ooze Courser of Kruphix Tasigur, The golden Fang are all also really good in the deck. and you have options of using taisgur and potentially just bloodghast and going more control oriented route if thats your style instead of using the creatures if they feel clunky.
Your sb should include 2-4 copies of Ancient Grudge, 1-2 Golgari Charm, 2 Darkblast, 1-2 Anger of the Gods, 2 Sowing Salt and some various hate cards of your choice and probably some amount of lifegain cards like obstinate baloth and maybe something like pthing needle. I personally like having batterskull in the sb/ syphon life for burn. Without ooze/courser our burn mu is pretty horrendous.
