I don't ask, I am happy about and yes it is specific... Blue not (less then others in a context) Most blue cards spoilered you can put in each blue deck, fine or not? New force as example or blue charm, you can use in merfolk and in uw and in Phoenix as side/main without problems if you want, same with opt not long ago, put merfolk out and grixis in... So why some are not happy and hyped? I can't see a reason. Most people like me need specific cards, blue not so much compared to other decks. This is a huge positive point for them too... Thanks you talked about. They have more synergies as other colours I think, so it is more easy adapting new cards in a lot of decks with blue. It is even easyer as with colourless cards for colourless decks, is this not strange? Time to enyoy new power of blue and be more positive Edit: scg stream I watch and see Narset as 2 on side of Phoenix. That's what I mean, easy to use a lot of cards with blue in a lot of blue decks
Sorry mate, but - as much as I keep stating Blue is well-positioned right now - this is a stupid way of generalize. All the cards spoilered cover very different fields. They are definitely not 100% istant include in every Blue deck. The opposite.
Tron had insane boosts over the last few years, between Ballista, Ulamog, little Karn, Blast Zone...
Some for Dredge and graveyard strategies, I guess I don't really have to say much about it.
Black has always been the dominant color in Modern.
Blue had overwhelming improvements, but it was a weak color to start with.
Green is finally having some nice toys to meddle with. They should do something for White. Red is good.
They printed lots of good Midrange cards. Problem is that Midrange isn't a good strategy at the moment, but it doesn't really depend by single pieces.
I don't say instant 100%. OK again scg, I see Saheeli in side too in same Phoenix playing at this moment. You can if you want use her in uw and grixis too. Don't be greedy guys and look at a lot of other archetypes with no chance of using cards, even if it fits same colour. Hell even u turns can use both examples I watching at this moment in a different archetype. Same with force and charm. It is sure more easy using blue cards in a lot of blue decks compared for other cards and colours. Blue as colour is less specific, even decks using them are very different. Strange
The problem with midrange is that it's been left behind with too much efficiency from other combo decks, graveyard recursion, faithless looting, cantrips, etc. Decks are ripping through their decks or winning while we play a turn 3 LOTV.
Midrange is overrepresented for its power level, but it's really not what you should be doing in modern right now. It needs something stupid good like DRS or Sylvan levels, I think. I'll definitely have to roll my eyes at the thread if people celebrate over a vindicate or some type of spoiler.
And now uw again versus Phoenix again. Is this our new meta now? Maybe better as watching Tron, lol. Can't wait seeing metashare of decks tomorrow Edit : great war between Narset, Jace, teferi versus Saheeli... All this cards was new blue cards together with a lot of opts used from both players. Please accept what wotc did to blue

Best decks in Modern right now are Humans, Phoenix, G-Tron, UW Control, Affinity, Dredge. We've got Vial Aggro, Xerox UR Aggro, Big Mana, U-based Control and... well, Dredge and Affinity, which are Dredge and Affinity.
Immediately after we've got Amulet Titan, Valakut and Shadow. A Combo deck, another Big-Mana slash Combo, a Midrange and a Tempo (Jund Shadow and Grixis Shadow).
How is this an unhealthy format, if someone dare to explain me?
Now UW Control, Humans, Amulet Titan, Dredge and UR Phoenix are the same cause they have BLUE mana cost in their spells, even though they are FIVE completely different strategies?
When someone doesn't want to look at reality, he turns blind.
Noone sayed such things. Where we sayed humans and dredge is blue? Or amulet? Please look maybe too at reality and don't say strange arguments Noone used

Unless I missed a post, I'm not sure what you are alluding to.
I just wish people could stop complaining for everything. A pipe dream, it seems.
When Jund is good, "oh my gosh, always Jund top tier!".
When Tron is good, "omg turn three Tron Karn wtf".
When Control is good, "the hell man, how borish".
When Burn is good, "brainless players who don't know how to play otherwise".
When Shadow is good, "one mana I win, lol, what skill".
We get it, you have your own petdeck. Format is healthy, as you can see from data (lots of different archetypes and strategies going on). If you don't like it the way it is, don't play it. Infraction issued for inappropriate language. --CWP
I will answer you with next match: Phoenix versus amulet. Now I need to sleep, but each deck today on stream I see included uw or Phoenix. I think overall I heared it was only 1 without. We talk about 12 matches. Even then I say nice to see blue. So please, blue is strong. I hope we can stop it now Infraction issued for spamming. --CWP

I'm not sure what this is alluding to either. Other than that Huamans is almost entirely incapable of producing blue mana for non-humans, Amulet only uses it to transmute Tolaria West, and maybe pay for a Pact, and Dredge never intends to actually cast any cards with blue symbols. That was the point, right?

Little sandwich bevore going sleep and watching next match... It is again Phoenix amulet. Never see in my life so often same decks. It is unbelievable. Someone nows how they search people on camera? Only rankings? Why they don't take other decks if they see again same? Where is Tron? I thinked it will be floated with Tron everywhere?
I'm gonna lock this thread for a few days. 11 reports in the span of an hour is more than enough to tell me that people need to cool off for a bit. I also find the trend of us having to lock this thread more frequently a bit disturbing. Please be sure you are following our rules when posting.

This is very depressing. The Reddit Modern community feels so much more scattered at times. I will miss actual conversation here instead of just people shouting opinions into the internet void.
Monday and Tuesdays spoilers have looked really bad outside of Oufy/Ouphie.
yeah maybe for bgx midrange, but otherwise i think there were some good spoilers. kaya's guile is a great addition to the format, kess is a powerful finisher for grixis midrange/control shells, unearth showed up, and i think smallpox decks are happy about netherspirit. the green suspend card could also prove to be powerful as another payoff for electrodominance/as foretold decks.
edit: it also looks like the onslaught cycle lands are all but confirmed; which im sure assault loam or strategies of that type will be happy about.
